I'm looking for a two letter per "key" keyboard to install on my Topaz. I've been using Touch Pal which is very good, but you have to pay for it (not much, but still...)
Was wondering if there are any free options? I believe the Touch HD has this feature as default, so...can that be ported to the Topaz?
If not, are there any other alternatives?
thanks for your help
cheers

Try Finger Keyboard.
gave in and purchased touchpal. It is exactly what I wanted and makes life easier. Well worth the 9.95$ with the current voucher.

my recommendation is Cooltek's TouchPal, without breaking the function of your physical keyboard (e.g. ascent key, word completion, name predictive)

PocketCM keyboard
the screen of diamond isnt so big as iphone ...
there is only one keyboard to use with a diamond and that's TouchPal. have tried most keyboards and still looking for a better one. This is the fastest and best by a long way once you get used to using it.

Finger Keyboard VGA is the best IMO, especially if you need language specific characters like I do with Swedish. See link in my sig.
Touch Pal 3.5
Just love this keyboard app. The predictable text regarding word corrections and predictable word choice is phenomenal.
If you take the time to Read through this, then you will discover the hidden potential of this app
The video is great but Reading is Believing !
Are there any available for the nexus? I had touch input on my mytouch 3g. Wondering if it will work on this phone.
Thanks
T9 is also my preferred method of input
I believe "Better Keyboard" (available on the market place) has this feature. I think it may be non-free though.
It'll be one of the first apps I get.
Guys the HTC-IME has three keyboards, phone T9 being one of them.
I downloaded it from here: http://drop.io/p12auxn#
You can also try TouchPal, it's not on the market but this is the beta (for high-res screens)
http://www.mediafire.com/file/m2kiccd1llw/TouchPal.apk
Thanks for both those links guys.

Hey, can that not be download'd and installed on the phone?
Thanks
I've tried multiple Keyboards (HTC IME, PerfectKeyboard, ShapeWriter, and a couple OCR-type ones). Does anyone have any recommendations on what works best for them? I 50/50 use my [fat] thumb..lol..and the stylus, so ideally, I'd like something for each. In a perfect world, the keyboard that Microsoft Mobile has, simply called 'Keyboard,' would be perfect for the stylus.
But, I digress...anyone had any particular luck or has any preference to a certain keyboard?
Thanks!!

Hi to everybody.
I have an Htc Hd2 and I love it, but there's one only thing I can't stand: the on screen sense keyboard. It's not accurate and always misspell what I write.
Do you know if there is a .cab that installs another keyboard, more precise?
I'd like to change the default one, I really can't stand it anymore.
I have a 3.14.408.2 ITA ROM and Co0kies's Home Tab.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
No one can help me?
different roms may have different keyboads like swype.
also, a thread about slideit which i have heard good things about:

I'm trying it right now, and you are right: it's great.
I just want to know: is there a freeware version (maybe an older one)?

The only smart pro keyboard I found was for Android and I have WM 6.5.
Do you know if there is also a WM version?
