Hi, All
I received my Nexus One Yesterday Morning & put it on charger straight away. This Morning checked the charge on the Battery indicator & it is still at 20%. Also the Orange light did not turn green.
Has anybody else come across this issue. I have already done a brief search on the Forum but couldn't find a similar article.
Thanks
JAW$
Could be the charger.
Try the PC USB cable and turn the device off. See if it goes up after 30 minutes.
Already tried it, no difference. Wrung Google support & there collecting it tomorrow for repair.
mine went completely flat yesterday was plugged into usb for 6 hours and only charged 15% plugged into wall when i got to work and within 2 hours was full 100%

I got my Nexus 7 yesterday (bought from Google Play), I played with it, installed apps, etc.... at about 11pm I plug it in to my factory charger which is on a surge protector, it proceeds to charge while I continue using it for 2 hour or so. When I went to bed I turned it off. I noticed the charging indicator (battery filling up). When I got home today I unlugged it and tried to turn it on...Nothing, so I plugged it into my computer, the charging indicator came up, I waited 5 minutes and turned it on, I then went to the store and when I got back I went to plug it straight to the wall for a faster charge, when I moved it it immediately powered off. After 5 min of "charging" I powered on and went to the battery summary page, it says 0% charging (AC). Its been here for about 30 min now, the usage graph shows a flat red line. Is my battery defective?
Nevermind. False alarm, thank God.:victory: My usb extension cable seems to be the problem. Also if anyone is curious, the htc usb cable works fine and is longer.
My Nexus 7 won't charge. I've tried 3 chargers, including the provided one, all of which work on several phones, but none work on the Nexus 7. And it's been a tedious few hours in a queue on the phone trying to get hold of anything to even start the returns process. I can only assume the stories you see when you google 'nexus 7 fault' are true and that many, many people are queueing up to get their faulty unit refunded or replaced. It's a shame - I've played with a working one and it's very nice.
I've had a similar problem for a few days now. When its plugged in, on or off, it will only gain afew percent battery even over a full24 hours. I broke the tip of my stock cable, so thats not an option but ive tried with several other cables with the same results. I'm afraid to use this thing any more unless its plugged in so since it may not charge once it dies. Did you ever solve your problem?
Hi,
Ive had the oppo for just over a day now and the first day all was well until last night. I had about 10% battery and left the phone on charge. half an hour later i came back and it was on 2% and then it died. I connected my phone to my computer via the usb cable and the charging indicator came on. The phone has been charging for 3 hours and is still on 0% and as soon as i take it of the phone dies.
hope someone can help
thanks

sorry to hear about the charging problem. I have not heard of that. Some have complained that it charges slow. I have the opposite experience, mine charges relatively quickly I think. Anyway, have you tried contacting OPPO support. They will respond withing 24hrs, assuming it's not the weekend!
I also experienced some charging issues. Connected my Find to my laptop the other evening, closed the lid and went to bed.
The next morning the phone was out of juice. For some reason, my Find 5 will not charge when my laptop is hibernating. It charges fine otherwise.
No other phone I've owned has this problem. I tested it with my old Galaxy Note and HD2. No problems charging when laptop is hibernating.
I also noticed that sometimes when connected as Media Device (MTP) it says charging....but the battery level still goes down.

Probably the power output is not enough to charge the phone properly, it also happens to me, but with the stock charger it does it well.
I got my G2 like amonth ago, lost the USB cable that came with phone the first day. Bought long cable off ebay and I am using it with wall charger that came with the phone. The problem is yesterday when I got up (I usually leave my phone charging overnight) it was at 75%. This morning when I got up it was 27% and it was charging all night. Checked battery usage graph and it shows like phone was not charging at all tho there is a sing in notification bar that it is charging. Tried few other chargers from S3 and S4. Doesn't matter what charger I plug in it estimates that battery will be charged to full in 30 HOURS. Can anyone help me how to fix this ?
Thanks
Hi,
By battery was running low so i turned the tablet off, plugged it in and went out. When i came back i turned it on only to find that the charge was at the same level as when i left it. I first thought it was the charger, but after testing it was fine. On plugging the charger back in the battery symbol comes up and shows that it is full, before the screen goes black for a short period before the symbol comes back up again showing it is full (Im unsure if it normally does when charged as i cant remember)
I then turned the tablet back on and left it to charge. The device charged slowly, but when i checked the battery status the tablet claimed that it was NOT charging.
Im worried that when it runs down it will not charge to turn back on. On the other hand it might recognise the battery is flat and charge normally.....
Anyone got any suggestions?
Update: I left it on and plugged in overnight and it charged back up to 100%, albeit very slowly (I woke up once and checked and it had only reached 75% after about 4 hours).
So still not sure what to do. Factory reset?
Even i had the same problem
Try changing ur usb cable,
it worked for me
Stock USB cable lasted one day for me. Absolute garbage. No problems using the stock cable from my ancient HP Touchpad.

Sorry to jump on a fairly of thread, but....
Hi Barking Mad,
Did you ever get to the bottom of your particular charging issue? I've bought a TN7from ebay, and I'm having ng exactly the same problems as you described. Not really charging when turned off and the screen showing the charging symbol for a couple of seconds before going black and then showing the same symbol again. It will charge whilst turned on, albeit it very slowly.
I was just hoping you may be able to shed some light on my problem for me!
Thanks
David

make sure you use a hi capacity charger 1A plus most phone chargers are too low and will only trickle charge when the unit is off, also my four came from ebay with no power faults and I patched a QI charger inside the casing as the usb ports had failed.
I'd do that to any tn7 now as the port is just too fragile and might be needed for an emergency recovery.
Few days ago I used my tablet and got low battery warning I decided to plug it to wall socket so I did it. I heard puff sound two times I unplugged it as soon as possible from what i saw that usb cable was not pushed fully into adapter and adapter burned. Same night i plugged it to original asus charger and left it charger over night it charged perfectly other day i used it without any problem untill it decharged so i plugged it again at evening with 8% remaining charging icon appeared. So i woke up next morning and unplugged tablet but I noticed it had same 8% remaining so i thought we had no power at night plugged it again, charging icon appeared but percentage won't rise it decharged. Than i tryied other cables and adapters nothing seems to help. Searched on google and found suggestions to open back cover and unplug battery for 2 mins I did that. Tryied charging from pc it worked !. So i thought I will move to wall charger for faster charging nope it still don't charge but show charging icon. So i used remaining 15% and flashed android 5.0.2 but it still didin't charge. Installed battery charge info it showing 367mA-500mA with wall and pc charging. So I need your help android users. Do I need new usb cable capable of 2.0A charging and adapter or something other? Sorry for bad english
