I downloaded Godzson-onyxBluezdirt.zip the icon +dialer , and when i downloaded i lost my browser I dont know why or were it went.
Can someone help me to get it back ???

Obvious Troll is obvious.
If you mean it disappeared from your home screen then all you need to do is hit the little plus sign, then shortcut, then program, and then browser...
If it actually did disapear all you need to do is to go to Settings>Applications>Browser and then click the button Clear Cache and Clear Data then reboot your phone.

Just download to you SD card and use a file explorer on the phone to select and install it.

You may need to use a file browser like Astro to go to the .apk on your memory card. Did it work?
i had to reflash fresh 1.1 and i got back my broswer...
but i loved the icons and dailer*crying* I wish i can have them back with the blue icons+dialer o well...

I've been using pocket cm keyboard on my 8125, but now I get a message saying this version cannot be run after 11/0|/07. I was using version 0.11. Does anyone have the version that can be run after 11/01/07 and post the cab for the download?

I tried that, and the newest I saw on the website was v.011 which I downloaded and got the same message.

I need help actually installing it. I installed the cab file... and you know how you have to change the keyboard from the little triangle by the keyboard button (you know what im talking about). anyway, I change it to Pocket CM, and it switches right back to the origional. what is going on.

steph... i tried that, it didn't work sadly .. I must be doing something wrong.
Ok.. i started over with everything. Removed the Pocket CM from my phone.
Installed the CAB for the SIB thing.
re installed the cab for the pocket CM (iphone one)...
Then, tested it to see if it worked. Didn't (but other keyboards were added strangly... and they worked... except i have no use for them and i want them gone )
Then i found another keyboard that looked cool.. installed the cab (by the way, to the main memory.), didn't work either. even after a few soft resets
has anybody ever had that problem, or know what im doing wrong?
Using a Windows mobile 5... t-mobile MDA. QVGA screen.

Never mind, I have it now after installing to my device instead of the storage card. Thx. to all..by the way, where's the exclamation mark? I'm using the iphone skin.

thanks. I figured it out now. i guesss... you can only put in one cab keyboard at a time. and it uses the latest one.... thanks for the help tho, it cleared some stuff up.
Today I was very suprised about behavior of my Orbit2.
After wake up of device, when I tried start any applications which located on SD card, I get error message.
I run file explorer and tried to see SD card. On first time, all was good, but I cant see directory /Program Files
After reboot all good.
What is it???

sounds like a issolated issue. might be bad drivers though or needs some reg tweaking because this sounds like un stable communication between the device and sd. could also be a sd issue. if it doesnt come back then dont worry about it.
What i see here is SD corruption...

You better start backing up your sd card. Even if resetting restored the index, you never know , if it happens again you might not be so lucky and end up loosing data.
The HTC Artemis had a similar problem which was corrected by a patch. What i don't know is if that patch could be applied to the Cruise also. Maybe it’s worth some investigation…

Yes it will not work without it. Kinda works like handsent works with messaging. After install when u hit dialer ull get option to choose which dialer u want

unzip the rom.zip
system,
app,
contacts.apk just copy/paste it to sdk tools.
adb remount
adb shell
push contacts.apk /system/app
exit
adb reboot

My life sucks. I pressed the button and long pressed the button. On press nothing happens and on long press the voice dialer opens. I can see the apk in my folder.
I'm running Fresh's rom.

Try going to Settings>Applications>ManageApps and clearing the data for "dialer" and "People"(the one that has a phone icon)
Edit: I'm running Fresh's as well and it works for me. If that doesn't work clear them again and goto "Contacts" under ManageApps and clear data/defaults. that should fix it

GOT IT! Tried it a second time and it worked!
I just installed didn't have to do anything extra just pushed the apk,rebooted,and then pressed phone. It asks which one you would like to use(phone/contacts). If not id say clear the defaults like stated above.
So say I unroot my hero (have to get it replaced. The trackball was broken out of the box) but before I do that I back it up with nandroid. When I get my new phone and root it will I be able to restore that same phone using nandroid?

Yes you can use them on any phone.
i think u can but u gotta change the way its tagged. cant just copy n paste becasu of the serials or something.

Negative about the tags. You just need to save it in the folder for your device and you are good to go. . i.e. /sdcard/nandroid/HT9BBHF99999/paste_copied_nandroid_here

Any advice/tips/quick fixes?

I could be on the wrong problem here, but is it giving you the message that that type of file is not compatible with the phone? or something like that?
if so, just use astro file manager (from the market) and go to menue >>more >>preferences >>enable browser downloader and check that.

Actually it wont even let me download the media all it says when I go to attached file is a number like 513 that I can save and when I do it saves as a file that cant be opened

Yep stock rom because tmobile sent me a new phone aboout a week or so ago and it is still stock with the j16 update OTA
Just go to market and download save mms by Andrew Schwimmer. That should hold you off for now.
