Well, with new firmware we can put phone face down and loudspeaker will turn on, and if we pick it up call will be again from small speaker. And how about disabling call by simple shake? Or getting to the home screen by shake?

i was think if it's possible to put your diamond facedown to end a call, and if the device is facedown when you receive a call you have to answer uptarnig the device...! there is alredy an application for this ?
sorry for my bad english
Really cannot see any point to this. I mean who in their right mind leaves a phone turned upside down to begin with? However turning it from face up to face down signifies you do not want to take the call, hence MUTE.

I cannot get the mute call on face down to work!
It is all set up in advanced config but doesnt mute!
Hi to everyone!
Just got an idea.
The last few days, after noticing the scratches on the back of my precious diamond, I started placing it face down (also to show of the diamond back of course using a screen protector).
What got me into thinking is:
Is there a way to reverse the way flip to mute works?
NOW:
When the phone is face up you flip it over to mute the ringtone.
IDEA:
Keep the phone face down and when it rings and of course you turn to see who is calling the ringtone mutes! (no need for it to ring anymore since you hold the phone).
PLUSES +
- Gives a more discreet way to think more whether you answer the call or reject it without disturbing.
- If in a meeting you place the phone face down again so when a new call comes in you can just flip to see who is calling, whether at the current state you have to flip the device face up and down again to mute.
What do you think about it?
I am looking for a tweak or registry fix/setting to help me with the following problem:
On my parrot bluetooth car kit in headset mode after a call is finished the phone stays on. This is not a problem if you finish a normal call without handsfree because you switch it off manually but when you are driving with the phone in your pocket, the phone is liable to screen presses. I have been inadvertently creating/editing contacts and making notes with the phone in my pocket after use in the car.
The screen autopower off does work if the screen is not activated for a few minutes but the inadvertent screen presses occur within this timeframe.
Any help is appreciated - thanks!
I have a similar problem when using my bluetooth headset (Samsung WEP200)…
When I make a call using the headset the screen stays active, and if I turn it off during a call it turns it self on again after the call has ended. Not fun if it’s in my pocket and it decides to call someone back without me knowing.
Is there a general setting or fix that disables the screen when you answer or make a call with the headset active?
Have you found any solution to this?

Nope, not yet…
I can’t believe that there aren’t a lot more people with this problem!? It’s a REALLY STUPID problem to have on such an advanced phone like the Blacksone when nearly EVERY basic mobile phone has this feature since the dawn of BT headsets.
This might leave me no other choice than to retire my beloved Blackstone and dig up my old Samsung phone so that I can drive my car safely with my phone in my pocket…
There is an app called Touch InCall Screen Tweak. With that you can configure so that screen will go off quickly when answering and ending calls and bluetooth headset is used. It works great for me!

I actually tried that app yesterday but didn’t get it working as I wanted. How did you configure it?
I guess I can try it again – would be great if it works!
Well, now I can make a call without worrying about it to end (with the InCall Touch app), but when the call is ended we're back making random calls without knowing to whom.
This amazes me, how this feature can be missing. It’s not something I admit to my iPhone friends who still tries to find something that Blackstone can’t do – cuz this even works on the iPhone!
I'll try tweaking till I or someone else can find a solution to this rather embarrassing problem.
Every time I get a phone call my watch display an microphone icon asking me if I want to take a note. What is that for and can it be disabled?

Resolved.
I'm running the latest stock Nougat release (G935PVPS4BQC1) . I use a pair of LG Tone (LG HBS750) headsets. When talking on the phone the screen won't shut off. If I shut it off it comes right back on. 1) It kills the battery and 2) when I place the phone in my pocket I wind up pocket dialing digits or turning off bluetooth, etc. It's really annoying.
Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Yep, that's my complaint. I haven't found a fix for it yet either.
Kind of a joke, but it could work. Install Nothing
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gorro.nothing),
then use tasker or eRobot to launch nothing when you are on a call with that BT device.
It will not turn the screen off, but it might stop the pocket clicks from doing anything.
You could also use either tasker or eRobot to turn the screen off. That will work too and it might keep the screen off, but it will also disable any biometric unlocks until you use your password again.
