Wondering is anyone knows what class the 16GB microSDHC card is that will be coming with the HTC HD2 when it launches from tmobile later this month in the USA?

AFAIK, you can't get anything other than Class 2 for 16GB at the minute anyway.

I bought an unbranded 4GB Class 6 card off eBay a few weeks ago and have had to back to the stock card because it only mounts about half the time. The card always mounts under Vista and Ubuntu and writes at 7MB/S so the card seems fine. Is there anything I can do to get it to work in my Dream? It's kinda annoying when I went to show off hero to my friend after saying how good it was and getting laughed at as the thing bootlooped =P

i would stick with sandisk all the way. it proved more reliable to me. i ordered a kingston 8gig and it didnt work in my g1. it kept freezing my phone.

Ah ok, so some cards just don't work :-( I've already ordered a Transcend 8GB Class 6 before it might not arrive before I go on holiday ><

I got a Verbatim 8Gb class 4 that freezes the phone as well.
I bought a takeMS class 6 for cheaper and it works perfectly.

so much money for whats basiclly a tiny bit of plastic..(yes i know theres more to it than that ). out of my price range im afraid but id love one......
I just can't keep seem to justify size over speed. A class 2 for 200 bucks is all I see.... and even with the 1ghz processor... music takes forever to load on a class 2 compared to a 6..
oh and transferring movies is a draaaggggg on those class 2's...

i currently use a 32gb kingston microsdhc that i bought from microdirect. works absolutely perfectly.
word of advice, dont buy any cards from ebay, from my own personal experience 90% of those for sale are fakes from china and dont actually work, or are 2gbs rebranded to 32gb
using a sandisk 32GB - working fine.

I have been using Sandisk 32gb class4 card from the last 2 months which was bought from eBay India. I don't feel anything wrong with that so far. Even registered in sandisk official website for a 5 year on site warranty.
But the purchase depends on the choice.

Class 4 is actually better than Class 10 for smartphone use. There's a thread here about that.
