I noticed that by changing to the build from jesusfreke, the market is in beta.
It seems that apps that were there before don't show up anymore (suchas astro).
is there anyway around this?

Hi all,
Since I've upgraded my 32A to the new Radio/SPL and a HTC 3.05 based ROM, I cannot find some of my apps in the market anymore... and I'm trying to find why.
At first I noticed that I couldn't see any protected app with the official 3.05 releases (tried both Rogers' and EU) but I found that I could get them back by switching the build.prop with one from a 3.03 release as someone suggested.
By the way, if you search for "Topmarkettest" in the market you can check which app types you are allowed to see (they've made dummy apps for each type - paid, no-limitations and protected). Quite useful.
Here's a list of some of the apps I still can't find though:
- Trapster
- Layar
- Barcode Scanner
- Wikitude
- Real Time Traffic
- ABonEntendeur (ABE)
I'd appreciate if a few of you could have a look in their market for me. Please tell me if you can find these apps and the Android version/Radio/SPL you are using. It could be that a few of them are not available to the 1.5 firmware anymore (like Google maps) but that can't be the only explanation (as this happened when I changed Radio, SPL and ROM).

Edit : Just in case someone comes across this thread... I could fix the issue by installing Amon RA's Donut, launching the market (were it found the missing apps) and then reverting to CursorSense.
Everyone who uses Navigon, there is an update in the marked useable with Oxygen 2.01 and all Gingerbreads.

Hello guys i need help, i want to install navigon on my desire it's the only NAV that i like actually but i dunno how....
I have an HTC Desire with MIUI XJ 1.3.18
I can only install the old free 2.6.1
But for new maps i need at least 3.5.0 but when i install and launch it an error message appears, somethign like: "This software is made for different operators/terminals you cannot use it"...
So, is there a way to install navigon 3.5.0 and above on HTC Desire?
I followed some guides where they suggest to install first the 2.6.1 then edit the version.xml file and then install the 3.5.0 using fresh to download files etc... but i never solved the problem with any guide...
Does anyone have a solution here?

I'v just installed Floyo (2.2.5) v1.0b HACKDROID rom in my x8. Everything works fine and smooth untill Android Market was automatically updated to v3.0.27.
The market won't work ever since. I used Root Explorer to change the permissions of the vending.apk in system/app from -rwxr-x to rw-r--r--, but it does no help.
Is v3.0.27 can't be used in this rom? Or what can I do to make it work?

I'm just starting with my a500 been trying out different roms for the last couple days. I'm currently using taboonay 2.2 BUT I found a website that let me make some addons like games buttons apps and the boot-splash screen and created a zip which I flashed with CWM. Now for my question' I can't remember the website I used, my browser history is disabled so its not in there. I had to join the site to use the kitchen. Now I don't remember the site. Has anyone else used this site and can you give a link? Thanks

I can't find it anywhere, there is only newer v5.5.0 version on xda, however it doesn't work properly on my HD2.
The full filename was:

I had no luck in finding it at XDA or on Androidmeda's download repository...Did find a download link at a chinese website though:

u need to view it in Google Chrome to translate the page.but the catch is it requires you to register to download.Your call. But i recommend that you should get to the root of the problem on why the latest build is not booting. Im sure its easier than hunting for the older build. What problem are you exactly facing?.Maybe i can help you with it?
I have successfully installed 5.5.0, but it was just slower than 5.3.0 - the app drawer animation wasn't smooth.
