I have tried everyyyy rom and everything to try to run apps2sd on my N1 but cant seem to run it. currently im trying to run apps2sd on
"CyanogenMOD Optimized3 w/gapps/themed/a2sd/more goodies!"
here are the instruction s for apps2sd on that rom:
MOST PROPER WAY TO GET A2SD SETUP AND ALL FEATURES WORKING:
use 512mb ext4 partition
wipe data
wipe dalvik-cache
wipe ext
wipe battery settings (just for good measure)
wipe rotate settings (also for good measure)
flash ROM
boot phone and log in to google (not required just recommended)
go to terminal and type:
$su (press enter)
#kingmadethis.sh (press enter)
#reboot (press enter)
I have followed every step and made ext4 partition which u can see in the screenshot below.

No matter what i do i always get this screen in the storage and location showing that i only av 190+ mb in internal storage (PIC 2).
PLZ XDA HELP!
That's normal.
Basically load up an internal memory program (internal SD widget is good).
Load up your apps and you should see your internal memory stay the same.
Most ROMs these days do not add the EXT3/4 to the internal memory reading anymore.

Hi,
I have the same ROM,and 150MB of "INTERNAL" memory is normal.
In order to see all of your available "space",get yourself Titanium Backup.
This will show you on the opening page a list as follows:
System ROM (nothing you can do about this)
Internal (space for apps)
SD Card (obvious)
Sd Card(a2sd) (your EXT.partition ,where you can also install apps)
You can use a third party app to move apps to sd EXT eg. SuperBox.
Installing CM9 for the first time:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM like the one from CM7
- Copy GApps to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work)
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
Updating from a previous build:
- Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Flash GApps zip
- Wipe cache partition
- Reboot

There already is a thread like this, in General. that's were it belongs to be also... So you can ask the mod to close this one...
Thanks anyway for giving links and stuff.. you can make a direct link with

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my Galaxy S4 Duos I9502, somehow I can't save any file/picture from internet to Download folder, only original app like Browser is able to save file !!!
Ex : Whenever I try to save an image in Firefox/Chrome, it shows an error as below :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
What I have tried so far :
- Root the phone and use Root Explorer to check the permission of "Download" Folder, it is --rw--rw--r-, tried to change the "other" to RW but failed.
- Wipe cache/davik code - not solve
- Factory reset/ Wipe data - not solve
- Clean everything and re-flash the stock rom still not succeed ((
Really appreciated If you have any idea on how to solve this problem.
I managed to solve the issue by using Terminal Emulator and put in below commands :
su ->enter
restorecon -R -v /data/media/0
Hello guys,
I used couple android phones earlier and after i kept installing many apps, i ran out of system space in my phone though i had enough internal memory in my phone. So i tries to use xda apps ( forgot names) to move apps and clean up space.
1 I am wondering where do these app get installed in my S8?
2 if i keep updating apps or if i keep installing new apps, will i run out of space?
Please check screenshot from S8 below:

Apps aren't installed to /system, they are installed to /data and it says you have 30GB free so you're fine.

Thanks for replying, now. I wonder how does "system" gets full?
/system should not be your concern unless you root your phone.
this is used exclusively for system files, and data here is only changed when you install a system update.
the manufacturer will make sure no update will ever cause the system storage to fill up completely.
i'm using this super popular super ROM https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...rom-lineageos-14-1-samsung-galaxy-s4-t3586561
I just downloaded 2nd of this December's build and installed it with latest TWRP for ja3gxx.
Didn't install gApps, I though it be better to do after.
i'm trying to expanding internal storage with a 16GB class 10 sd card.
in settings app after formatting successfully, it fails (settings apps hangs/ "stopped working") when you press the button on the next dialog/page to start moving data to the sd card.
if you skip moving the data, by selecting "later" and continuing, the sd card shows as corrupt.
i'm 100% sure the sd card is not corrupt and is genuine, I formatted it multiple times,
in TWRP, wiped it and changed file system to F2FS, and It formats and works as a portable storage, it shows a 16GB portable storage space.
I have tried most likely identical (just defferent colors gray+red and white+red) Sandisk class 10, 16GB sd cards.
so the issue is not the sd card.
