hello, I need someone to help me with driver htc 4242 + (clone) because I tried several times to update, no more communication between USB and PC, I had 3 more different cables without success, could anyone help me? Or tell me how to update the SD Card?

Did you perform soft reset?
Update micro SD card? You can do it by putting it direct into your pc (or via adaptor).

Only drives formated in FAT/FAT32 are readable by Windows Mobile, not NTFS. Aside from that, external drives must also be externally powered as you won't get enough juice through the device to power up a drive (flash excepted of course). USB mass storage drivers aren't necessary as WM has had them since WM2003.

is it possible to change the rom of my device without a working usb port?
perhaps directly from memory card?

yeah
you need to format your card(not sdhc) to fat32, and copy there a rom file( rename it to arteimg.nbh). After that enter bootloader mode, and slide a volume button.
sd card flashing will work but make sure your device is CID unlocked (in case you are flashing cooked ROM)

I've broke my Blackstone's display and the problem is that I haven't backed up my contacts, calendar etc, and things get worse. I've set up that when I plug the usb it goes automaticly to storage mode, and the result is that I can't in anyway sync my phone. I wonder can I copy let's say the rom itself and copy it to another htc get the contacts or I don't know.

I don't know if this will help, but have you tried removing the SD Card from the device to prohibit it going into Storage mode?. If this works and you can gain access to the phone via USB, try MyMobiler or something similar to operate the device as you need, and try do your backups that way.
I've tried removing the sd card and it didn't work. It's just not activating activesync.
ANY OTHER IDEAS WILL BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED
Not sure if this would work as I haven't tried it. Delete mobile device from activesync on your pc so there is no connections setup. Remove sd card from phone and reset device. Then try connecting it to pc without sd card.
Once again I haven't tried this, may just do as before
Hi everyone, I am having a problem about connecting my hd2 to PC/Mac.
Every time, I plug in my hd2 into Mac, it could not recognize it as a usb driver.
When i plug into Windows, it will show as a card reader, but ask me to insert the sd.
I already choose usb debug, choose Disk drive as default connection type, and still dont work. Also, i read the others post with similar problem and they all suggest to format the sd by SDFormetter, but it didn't work on mine.
The only way for me to transfer data to my sd card is using the Clockworkmod recovery. Do you guys have any idea about that and help me out please.

as the title suggest. my laptop does see the device as in it gives te connect sound and i can see the device in the devicemanager. but i cant acces the USB storage of my phone, not while in android or Recovery. only in magldr i can acces the usb storage with the masstorage option. i have a code 10 error in the devicemanager. and i have researched it a bit but i cant find a fix for it. i already tried to reinstall the drivers (plug-and-play install and manual driver instal) i cant get it to work.
does anyone have a solution?

I have tried multiple roms Nand and Nativesd. all the same result. i think its either my phone or my laptop. but i dont know hoe to fix it.
first try all the usb ports on your computer...if not try deleting the drivers to find it and reinstall it again....try to see if another computer works fine or it gives you the same results...(also i should mention that for me only the original cable works...other cables works only for charging)
then i should try finding my old data cable. maybe that will fix it. with the cables i now have used my pc brings up that little usb thing icon in de statusbar in the right corner. but doenst see is when i open "my computer" . and in device manager it says error 10(device wont start) for WPH-filesystem
ok another thing...your sd card is fine.? if you insert your sd card to computer through card reader works fine.?
yep, even bought a new one yesterday. works if i put it in de cardreader. but not if the card is in the phone
