mk ... it appears that I didn't search the forum properly for the queries that i've got... found most of them so if moderators could delete the post - I would be more than grateful
however it is still confusing with the duration of the vibration signal ... can't make it shorter
I am looking to mute the excessively loud sound upon startup on my Cingular 8525 - it seems louder with the latest wm5 rom update.
I am a newbie here...I have tried searching but I am not finding the right results. Perhaps I am not using the search feature correctly?
If it requires a registry hack, I will need step-by-step instructions on how to do so. I have no idea how to even see the registry on my 8525! I am not completely computer dumb, just new to pocket pc's and their workings.
Mr. Vanx has great how-to's, Shogun seems to always have an answer, and in general this board is very helpful!
note to self . . .
search by POSTS, not threads and you will get better results!
Hey,
just have a few little queries i wouldn't mind a bit of help with:
1) Headphones - is there a way to increase maximum dB ?
2) Audio from the speaker at the back - is there a way to increase the maximum dB on that also ?
JPU firmware.
Cheers
nevermind, i found it after a long search online - maximum sound now - heaps good
If you could post links or a breif explanation of how to achieve this, it would help others who got attracted here by your thread title
Has anyone found a way to do 2 way call recording (2wcr), otherwise known as in-call recording, on the SnapDragon variant of the S4 that works for mic/speaker, speakerphone, and bluetooth?
I have rooted my AT&T S4 and tried the various options in skvalex's call recorder with no luck.
Thx.

So very strange...I did a search for "call record", "ICR", "2WCR", and a bunch of other terms which did not turn up the thread you linked to.
Thanks so much for the help!
Hello, I'm a little hard of hearing and have a phone call always difficult to understand the other party. Even the highest volume setting is still too low.
I read that you could increase the volume in the files mixer_gains.xml and / or mixer_paths.xml.
Unfortunately, I find no evidence of what changes I must make in the files exactly, so that the volume is raised when talking on the phone.
Can someone explain to me which lines I have to adapt?
If desired, I like to upload the two files here for viewing.
And sorry for my english, is translated with google.
