Sound related Issue - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Deleted at poster's request (by mikechannon)

mk ... it appears that I didn't search the forum properly for the queries that i've got... found most of them so if moderators could delete the post - I would be more than grateful
however it is still confusing with the duration of the vibration signal ... can't make it shorter

Question for the moderators : Are the posts here deleted after a while?

Hello.
This is a question for the moderators.
I noticed that I can't find my posts from the Wizard->Wizard forum Discussions. The posts are relatively new.
The threads appear when I search for them and they are marked like they belond to the "Wizard" Discussions ,but I can't see them in the when I navigate the usual way.
Some examples are :
-Post your Battery mA consumption. This may help solve battery problems...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298682
-Predictive text in hardware keyboard (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296459)
The posts are there, but are hidden from public eye.
I think the "Post your Battery mA consumption" thread is usefull to some users.
Is there any reason for this? Or is something in the forum rules that I did not understand?
Thanks for the great job you're doing keeping the forum
I've also noticed. it seems that only the last days posts are active...
at the bottom of the page there are settings to display posts from a certain time. I think by default they are set to "last day"
Go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/profile.php?do=editoptions
change "default thread age cut off" to whatever you like.
thanks, i never noticed that. i wonder why all the other threads are different by default
Thanks supercbuk.
I guess this was it..
I was using the "Default forum setting"
Maybe the default setting should change from the moderators .
A lot of information is being lost thatway and a lot of people might ask the same questions again.

asked many times but not solved yet !!!!!

I searched all of the forum (thanks to google) for a solution of "too long vibration" on SMS delivery.
Question asked tons of times but there is no answer given to it.
There are options to change vibration profile on incaming call , but I couldn't find any solution to "SMS vibration"...
IS IT IMPOSSIBLE !!!!
Expert users, programmers, moders, hackers PLEASE ANSWER..
I prepared "tags" of this tread as per any seach for similar subject will be directed to here...
Any positive or negative answer will be appretiated.
Thanks

Yota phone on Blackstone - no ringtone

Hi, I have been a member here for about 1 month now and after much browsing, searching and lots and lots of reading I think it is time for my first post to ask for help . I have searched for and found 2 previous threads which spoke about this issue, but I never saw any definite answer in these threads on how to solve the problem (as far as I could see anyway). As both of these posts have since been closed, I have no other option than to start a new thread .
I am currently running Dutty's 3.6 (Manila 2.1) ROM and have loaded the YOTA phone app, as I love the black look, which blends in so much better than the Topaz dialer. The problem however is that whenever I receive a call, the phone merely vibrates but does not ring at all (and yes I have checked the settings to ensure it is set to ring). If I uninstall Yota, the ringtone plays again, re-install Yota and again no ringtone .)
Please, I know there where some other members with this problem - if you have manged to solve this, or if anyone else has any other ideas on how to fix this I will be very grateful.
