I have acquired a xv6800. This unit is not be used for phone ONLY for PPC. I have flashed the unit with the titan SPL 2.40-olipro and then flashed the stock Sprint RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.35.651.2_RS_TITAN_3.35.04_4350H_SPCS_AM_Ship
My GPS still is not working.
Would someone please give me some advice? I am lost and have been fighting with this for a few weeks. I have spent about 20-25 hours flashing and re-flashing and still nothing.
When the unit boots I get a HTC screen and reads
M 09 P DCAAZAM-4350H
B 03 R 3.35.04
D 3.35
What am I missing?
All was done from the 3 color boot screen.
I would like use this unit for the GPS and apps only.(got apps working, but when I flash I loose them)
Please help.

I recently bought an SD-502 receiver for my XDAII and have no end of trouble since. I was hesitant to buy it given the compatibility problems but latest compatibility lists say that it has been tested and works. Long story short, COM 7: which is supposed to be assigned to GPSUART as per GPS PPC websites is absent and I cannot find any way to add it. I have upgrade from WM2003 1.60 to 1.72 and there was no change.
Further to this, I have downloaded the WM2005 upgrade in the hope that It would recognize the device but now I can't load any version of WM withouth the Himaupgrad.exe saying that there was 'a problem during upgrade'.

Can you be more specific about this 'problem during upgrade'?
That's what Himaupgrad.exe calls it... verifies the ID of the pda and then you click yes to upgrade and it goes to the screen where it clears the current rom and loads the 3 new ones and instead of doing that, after about 30 secs it just says there was a problem during upgrade and says to soft start the pda, which I have tried with no success. I have tried many combinations of Radio, Ex Rom and Rom without luck. I have even tried the original upgrade package that is already on there which I downloaded from the UK o2 site and that gives the same error. So I figure it is something to do with the PDA not the upgrades.
Again, any help is much appreciated!

My device started acting up yesterday..everythign seems to work fine except the phone functon....when i reboot, it says NO GSM...what do i do? im a relative newbie...is there anythin i can do? i soft reset, hard reset..still no dice...i looked up the NO GSM queries here and i did all that stuff and still a problem..
anyone have suggestions? step by step method to help me?..would be forever greatful...

You can try some of the fixes in the XDA-Wiki on the brown bar above; I had that problem with the 8525 variant of the TyTN and had to send it back in (which resulted in a new IMEI which meant my phone was relocked; it was locked originally).
Hopefully, you get can get lucky and not have to send it in.

Hi all,
I recently took out my sim card to replace it with a new one. However, when i placed the new one in and turned the BA on i recieved no signal, furthermore, when i put the passcode in, it said it was wrong. of course, I have punched in the right code i have always been using.
i have tired hard reseting but it still doesnt work.
Are there any other options avaliable apart from flashing a rom in again?
Any help or suggestion will be appriciated.

These are both known glitches in the BA with WM6
For the no signal a soft-reset should fix it, for some reason if you remove the battery and then replace, the first boot has no radio initialization, but a soft-reset after that fixes it.
As for the passcode, you have to clean your hive file to regain access to the device. You do not need to format storage, but all your registry settings for installed software will be gone. Most likely a re-install of each app will be needed.
i just went through this..i tried changing my sim card and i was freaked when i saw no radio rom installed..then i upgraded to radio 1.15 and first it worked but again i t showed the same so i went into bootloader an then soft-reset and its working till then ( about 5 softresets till now)

I have updaraded successfully to 6.11 and all seems fine except I cant get the phone to detect a carrier.
I searched the forum and saw ideas like installing 2003 and then WM6 but this didnt work.
Has anyone found a way of sorting out the band selection without having to wipe my WM6 installation?

Check in phone settings, if correct band is selected for your operator in your area (personally I would recommend AUTO).
Thanks but I can't actually get to the phone settings - each time i try it says the phone is not ready and wait 15 seconds - I have waited forever and it never stops searching - eventually it just says no service.
Sorted it - install WM2003, unlocked SIM - upgraded to Radio 1.5 and WM6.11 cold boot, did not clear registry hive and it works fine now.
WOW, that's odd. might be useful for others.

Havnt been here for some time. Iv got problems flashing my spv m700. I have flashed this device dozens of times with no problem, but today tried flashing new rom and it gets stuck on 0%. checked the normal things like battery seems ok but the same problem persists.
Also iv tried flashing via sd card. Gets to 1% then bums out saying Update terminate update fail with error code at top of screen sayng 00018003.
Please could someone help me as i use this for work. Best device iv used for tomtom
