"Tasks" has never been available in different Manila versions. Is there anything there for HTC Leo and its TouchSense that allows to view / add / mark complete tasks?
Is noone using them? I can't see a reason why HTC puts in all the funcionalities you can think of (facebook, geotagging photos, music player, stock prices) to its Manila interface, but not tasks.

Can't find anything within Sense on mine, but the Tasks program is still in the Start Menu.

I agree!
I was a big fan of HTC Cube until I found UL...
HTC Cube eats a ton of program memory and with UL installed I regularly have 17-20 MB of free memory with everything closed.
As many panels as I want, different today plugs on different panels lets me organize panels by function and information.
I have panel for phone which has a plug to set sound profiles and last caller with another plug that allows me to add as many favorite picture contacts on it for easy dialing.
My Home panel has quick info plugs for Time, Messaging and Appointments
I have an internet panel with IE, Opera, Email, IRC, and Sync and PDA Net launchers and two today plugs that show my IPDashboard and waiting email.
A panel for document readers such as office programs, Adobe, Zip, Calc, Calendar, email, tasks and one note
A setting panel with Resco explorer and regedit, Bluetooth today plug, Battery and storage meters, launchers for every config app I use plus a reset and shutdown
A full panel for weather
A panel for media (music and video)
a Panel for misc apps that can't be categorized
and a Panel for Navigation/GPS which includes garmin, tomtom, Pocket Sky, and other GPS utilities
Basically I ran out of things to make panels for and still have all that free program memory.

I noticed that the newest version of the HTC album doesn't offer the option to upload pictures to facebook anymore. Is there a way to get this functionality back?
I did read some threads about replacing the entire album with an older version, but I was hoping that the new one could be tweaked/hacked to offer the same option
No. You need HTC Album v2.5
How to know my version?
i cannot find the About?
So the next question is, How to download the newer version???
search HTC Album 2.5
We have Album 3.0 on TP2. I found that by looking in the registry.
Why not use Microsoft's Facebook App? It supports uploading photos to Facebook Mobile...

That does work but it's only papering over the problem really. Would be much easier to be able to directly upload to Facebook through the album rather than opening another app to achieve the same task.
UP................................
Fix but no fix! (Call to developers!)
Hi all
I did install a fix for this (HTC Social Networking Engine). I think it allows you to upload Photos to Facebook and Videos to Youtube.
It installed OK on my phone but broke various parts of HTC Album 3.0 such as zooming in to photos, etc and I think video play back. I think somebody will have to take this solution and port it to album 3.0 for it to work effectively on a TP2. It seems that the newer HTC devices, including the Rhodium, have many more dependencies between the different HTC OEM apps installed than older ones, hence you can't simply patch one app.

Check out my last post in this thread for more details.

Try the Facebook Instant Messenger (FIM) software
its easier n friendly enough to upload profile picture n wallpost
but i hope the developer add the 'back' button ....
SkyDrive
Is there a way to upload photos from the album to my SkyDrive? There is an option called "Send to your space" in the default Windows Pictures and Videos app, but that's crap.
Hi there,
I'm thinking of buying HD2 but I'm a bit worried about how deep the HTC Sense/TouchFlo goes.
1. Today screen - since Sense is just a Today plugin it can be turned off, but
2. How about the non-skinned, standard Messaging/Contacts/Calendar application? Are they in the ROM? Are the HTC modifications just some addon or they completely changed the standard ones (like tmail.exe). Is the standard interface of these apps in any way accessible?
U can use classic Windows look - install plugins on desktop, use standard mail etc... Its implemented in WM, sense is only system upgrade... In Menu is folder Outlook with shortcuts to classic mail,calendar...
I think the Windows Default (Zune-esque) interface for WM 6.5 is pretty neat, however, is there a way to customize (move/add/delete) the home screen list (Music, etc...)
There's an app in Windows Marketplace called "Home Screen Customizer" that does this.
There is also an entire forum on xda dedicated to this here. Search for "Showaco Chome Editor".
Facebook Help please...
Great thanks for the link, I have the ZuneHD and I want my phone to be just like it! I did search the forums/freeware but I cannot find a good .cab that will allow sync between facebook and tp2 and show updates like TF3D if I had a good contact program that could do this I wouldn't need TF3D!
Also was I the only one to notice that once you upgrade to 6.5 you lose the ability to sync birthdays?
So basically I need a cab that syncs birthdays and pics with facebook... like TF3D on the TmoUS stock TF3D ROM oh yeah and has a favorites screen.
Do I ask for too much... I am rather picky but who customizes and is not?
Folks,
I like to run my HD2 with the standard today screen (not Titanium), and I populate it with several of the standard plug-ins, notably including date/time and calendar. I then add some apps like SPB Weather, SPB Phone Suite, and a quick-launcher to get my complete experience.
What I'd really like is that same experience except with 6.5.3 instead of 6.5. I previously installed an Energy ROM but found that most of the standard today plug-ins were missing. Can anyone suggest a 6.5.3 ROM that is as close to "stock" as possible, including the standard today plug-ins?

I would also like to knoe if there is a rom like this. same as stock...just really snappy in performance
I am looking for a ROM that is similar to stock, includes standard old-school WM today plug-ins, and is 6.5.3 or later.
Does such a thing exist? Or did MS remove the standard old-school WM plug-ins in versions of WM post-6.5?
Which standard plugins are you referring to? Calendar, Tasks, Messages, and the like? I am using the Elegancia ROM with titanium right now, but when I turn it off those plugins are there, and I'm pretty happy with that as well.
