Any full working Eclair 2.1 out there? - Hero CDMA General

http://www.androidspin.com/2010/02/27/kingklick-kingxkxklair-eclair-hero-2-1-v1-3-released/
I saw this but its only for GSM....
Is there any full working Eclair 2.1 out there?

No... once the .29 kernel is finished, we'll have the camera working, and then we'll have a fully working 2.1.

Um that's for the G1/Magic.
All the ROMs available for the CDMA Hero are listed in the wiki. Look thru them & you will find your answer.

Either when are devs get it ported or when Sprint releases the 2.1 update. Then we can root it, upload it, and flash it for fully working 2.1

Fresh 3.0 - FPS Unlock?

The FPS is obviously capped again in Froyo. Is there a kernel to unlock it anywhere yet? I know it just came out, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
Thanks.
This one works, but it does break the rear camera. I'm using 3.7.3c
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=726854
Edit: not sure if works with Fresh 3.0, but it does work with the 2.2 Rom netarchy released.

Thanks. I'll wait.
there won't be a complete fix until HTC releases the new kernel source that's in Froyo (kernel .32)

The original "fixes", like the one done by ffolkes, were implemented before the source was released. Let's hope we won't have to wait too long.....

2.6.32 desire kernal

I was wondering when the 2.6.32 desire kernal will be in any ROM's? I'm trying to work on it now but having trouble in Ubuntu. Anyone got any ideas?

Direct from HTC, http://developer.htc.com/ ? Problem is, the real "Desire" isn't very similar to the Eris other than the old codename that HTC gave the Eris model, "Desirec".
More from Google, including a lot here at XDA.
Would it be from this post? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=696846

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the advantage of this newer kernel? Do we even need it now that we have everything on our devices working on the .29 kernel?
Some think it's best (or reqd) to have the latest.
Sent from my CyanogenTazz Froyo using XDA App
We don't "need" it but it will be more streamlined to work with froyo. Instead of having a million work arounds to get something like facebook syncing to work things will work by default. I've said it forever, the biggest thing for our phones is updating kernels.

[Q] anyone working on a gingerbread rom for mytouch 4g?

so since the 2.3 sdk was released today just wondering if anyone is starting on building a rom for the mytouch. maybe even with a few tweaks like adding the overclock to 1.7.
As far as I know the SDK is usually never enough to build a stable rom.
Considering that we don't even have a stable froyo rom yet, I think gingerbread is quite a ways away.

need the source to drop into the git before you will see true usable gingerbread roms... which will probably be a few weeks.

[Q] WILDFIRE S - DUMP ROM (2.3.2 with sense 2.1)

Thats interesting.
I'm not good at porting whole ROM, I hope some devs will be interested in that.

soooooooo?.....
We already have gingerbread up and running with the .29 kernel if I'm right? It's fully functional, so the kernel shouldn't be a problem I think.
Sense is a pain in the ass to port since everything is closed source with Sense so it is a huge undertaking. Not to mention the Hero doesn't have many devs to begin with and the most active one (Feeyo) doesn't port Sense.
Villainrom are trying to fix the camera on 2.2 sense so i can see them porting this in the future.
After all they did fix camera on 2.2!
Villain is doing so, and well a dev on cronos is doing the same thing. And again we got 2 fronts doing the same thing XD....
They could possibly do it as a TEAM but i cant see that happening tbh
im working on this, not yet got the rom to boot and it may be quite difficult due to kernel, i believe its not a requirement for 2.6.35 kernel, minimum that should work fully is 2.6.32, i will post a test release once i have it booting
That would be huge! Fingers crossed good luck

WILDFIRE S have MSM7227 600mHz this is ARMv6.
wildfire cpu >= cpu hero
Ok if that is the case, I really think HTC failed there XD
Yeah, that's a fail from HTC...
A new device running on something < ARMv7
Meh, gives RaiderX something to do

Fascinate MIUI Gingerbread

Am i the only one that really would like the fascinate to get MIUI gingerbread? We already have a port and we also have CM7. It would just make my day if someone would port/upgrade the MIUI ROM that we currently have.

Once we get a fully working CM7, then I am sure someone will take a stab at it. Just be patient. If you are looking for some MIUI with great functionality I would definitely use TSM's MIUIWIZ. It is pretty sweet.
