I thought google + is already open for the public. Is it not ? Atleast invite throttling seems to have been relaxed.

Has Google locked down the beta? I got my account by going to goggle and filling out the form.

It sounds like you will be getting the user name and password to a Google account that has Google Music. I kinda doubt there will be any way of transferring the Google music to your primary Google account. Good luck, though. It's a pretty cool service.

Actually, Google started a invite system with Beta where the current participate are given 2 invites to send to people (I'm not sure if they'll give you more if you send it). People should be able to sign up using invite links sent, but it might also check for US IP. The best way is to use a free US VPN/proxy and apply for Music Beta and wait for a week or so.
*Only Indian specific invites to be shared*
Please post your invite requests into this thread. This will keep the OnePlus X forums from filling up with millions of invite requests that will just end up getting ignored. It will also help people with invites to find the people who need them.
Don't just post a story of Why you need it, just write 'I want one' and let others do the thing, once you get your hands on the invitation kindly do not waste it, invites are rare as we all know it.
Also to people who will share the invitations please prefer the Recognised Developers/Contributors of XDA first, since it will speed up the development of this device .
Once you get your invite, please edit your request to "got one" or something similar to make it easier on everyone & don't forget to share your extra invites too!

So I received a mail from OnePlus few hours back and I thought it was just confirmation that you have been added to the invite waiting list bla bla ....
But now that I looked at it again, unexpectedly it turned out to be actual Invite to buy the One Plus X !!!!!!!!!!!!
I never got an invite for the OnePlus 1 and got an invite for OnePlus 2 last week (3 months after registration)
And now I have have on the day of announcement!!! Don't know if it's my Lucky Stars or OnePlus has indeed upgraded their stock and invite system and are giving out invites faster this time !

There are 2 types of invites one is the invite which you get from OnePlus directly (after registering or winning contests held by them), and those are linked to your EMail id, after an invite email is sent to you, you will have to click on the link which takes you to one plus page where you have to press the "claim" button ... After you press "Claim" button the invite gets activated and then you can put the invite number in amazon site to purchase (if you don;t claim, the invite doesn't get activated and it shows invalid code) .
Also after claiming one invite , you are may get a shareable invite later, in which user has to give email of person who wants the invite, then invite gets sent to that person via one plus and it's again locked to that person's email .
So basically the Shareable invites can be transferred ... and for that email address is required (you have to create an account on OnePlus with same email address to claim it later) .
It's a bit complex system to explain properly :silly:
