[FOR TRADE] Fuze+Tilt for Gently Used Touch HD

I've never been a fan of cross referencing threads but in this particular case I'm going to do it just to try to let everyone here know that I'm looking to trade.
You can find the original thread here:

Not a good day

My beautiful hd2 is no longer flawless. The vibrate function has ceased to work. I feel like ive lost a relative lol. You can hear the little motor trying to work inside but no vibration feedback. Suppose its time to scan ebay for a new 1 or maybe upgrade to the desire HD (if the missus will allow)

Time to open it and readjust that motor. It could be jammed and needs a slight repositioning
Think you might be right im sure theres a thread here on how to open it up. Time to search.

Wel that aint done anything nw it is intermittent wether it works lol. Time to mazuma this mobile and get a DHD me thinks

Dude, Don't put it on the Motor.
Just say I no longer like the HD2 and I want a DHD, No body's gonna kill you
i don't know how much the OP searched before posting this redundant thread...
FYI, common cause of the vibration motor failing (mentioned in many many threads) is that the flash LED cover can get pressed inside. this puts pressure on the motor, preventing it from spinning.
take a close look at the flash LED cover on the back of the device...see if it appears depressed into the body. if so, your problem might be simply resolved by opening up the device just enough so that you can re-seat the flash LED cover back into its designed position.
if the flash LED cover is sitting right, then the motor might truly be busted...in which case, go ahead and think about replacing it with a DHD.
FYI, i've used a friend's DHD briefly and i can honestly say that its stock ROM felt noticeably MORE SLUGGISH than some of the DHD-based custom ROMs for the HD2 that i have used. of course, the DHD's CUSTOM ROMs might be leaps and bounds better than the DHD's stock ROM and any DHD-based custom ROM for the HD2!
I'll trade you for mine with a cracked screen
@ASCllker if you had read my "redundant " thread you would of known ive already tried opening up. So thanks for your redundant post in my redundant thread. I love my hd2 i just cant have a phone with no haptic feedback.

ahan, i label it redundant because the opening post of the thread offers no new information, nor have you worded the subject and opening post as a request for help, more like a "breaking news" (pun intended). this is a forum, not twitter...so try to be verbose/detailed as opposed to terse and "bloggy" (for lack of a better word). of course, all that is my opinion.
still, my post was meant to guide your attention to the flash LED cover, because you didn't make it clear in your later posts exactly what aspects of the device's components you looked into when you DID open it up. nor did you mention that you were already aware of the possibility of a faulty flash LED cover. so i added new information. you might already know about it but future readers might benefit from the information (who am i kidding? as if new-comers EVER search!).
once again, focus on details please. if this thread was just some breaking news from your life and you've made your decision to move on to replace the HD2 and need no further help, why not have the thread closed? if you really intended to get help, then i suggest you change the subject and edit the first post to add more information. you might get better help than what has already been posted in this thread as well as in numerous other threads.

Replacement casing

I dropped my tablet earlier and mangled up the bottom right corner of it. Thankfully, everything still works, but I'd like to get the casing replaced.
Would anyone here happen to have a spare casing for an Iconia A500 lying around?
I'm looking to spend around $20+shipping for it.
I've made a thread in the Wanting to Buy section for it, I believe that most of the chat should be in there (according to rules, from what I saw)
Note to mods: I was unable to find anything really covering doubleposting this in the WTB and in the Acer-specific sections, if I'm violating any rules doubleposting please let me know.

Tips of saving the i9000 digitizer's sensitivity

Today, i write these tips to help people who are no ideas in dealing with the matter of i9000 digitizer lost sensitivity. Now i just list some ways according to my cell phone repair experience.
I f you guys faced with this problem, you can do as what i said here:
First of all, you should check if there has a protector on your phone screen. If so, please tear off the protector, and you can touch you digitizer to check, if the phone has sensitivity, it means the protector has a bad effect on i9000 digitizer.
Secondly, check whether the contact has drifting problem or not. You can click one icon in phone display, if no sensitivity, but the other screen places where surround this icon have sensitivity, it means your phone contact faces with the drifting problem, and you should recalibrate the i9000 digitizer screen.
Thirdly, If the digitizer were broken. You can replace it by yourself just according to the i9000 take apart videos on youtube or a proffessional guidance site, it can save a lot of money if you do it.
Finally, the worst way is send you phone to cell phone hospital. I do not agree with you guys do so, because many repair shop just ask the very expensive price to fix the borken phone, and indeed, we can replace our broken phone parts easily.

HTC Desire 7060 - Experience? or Tips?

Hello,
i hope my topic fits into this section of this forum.
I purchased a HTC Desire 7060 today in China, Shanghai. As far as my research goes, its an asian version of the HTC One. A bit cheaper though.
Now, since the phone has a "china unicom" tempered firmware on it, i would like to check if its possible to get any kind of customized firmware on it. I was hopeing to get a good and CLEAN firmware on the phone.
Could anyone please point me in the right direction. I already got it done to "unlock" the phone. But am stuck now with finding a Recovery file or something.
Hope for any advise. Thank you.
Thread closed,
This thread is for the HTC One only. If there is not a dedicated section for your phone please see the Off-Topic forum link is in my signature.
Many thanks,
Ghost
