Hi!
it turns out that was installing the update of Spanish official "update sms new function" and took too long and suddenly puts it had no internal memory, which was weird because I always install things in the sd ... press the ok and stay there .... not follow or went out or anything. did not respond as expected and did a soft reset ..........
AND NOW NO ONE CROSSES THE HOME SCREEN !!!!!!! which is white, and HTC put on the left below the radio and other ..............
any ideas ???????????????????????

P.D. I did a thousand soft resets, remove the battery, I can not do hard reset ...... until you remove the sim and sd in case !!!!!!! and there is no pass ..........
u will have to hard reset...
u can leave ur sim inside, but take your SD out...
I press the bottons power off + volume up + volume down and the hd2 not respond....
the sim is inside...
gotta do the hard reset and it works !!!!!!!!

I have a issue with my trinity it freezes and i can't use the button to shutdown so i have made a sof reset but it lock on the second splash screen without possibility to launch restore srcreen . if somebody have a way to resolve my problem i listen

Reload original ROM then load your cooked one again

This process that I describe bellow, is the one I use. It has been proven to be fail safe. Never had any problems, and never have most of the bugs other users claim to have with their devices.
It consists of first cleaning completly the device, before flashing it with the new rom, and making imeditaly a hard reset just after its installed, and before it makes its first boot.
Here it goes (read carefully before- I'm not responsible if you damage your device):
1-Hard reset
2-Hard reset again, but now, instead of pressing "OK", remove the battery, sim card and sd card.
3-Let the phone rest 1 or 2 minutes
4-Insert the battery again
5-Press the buttons "Camera", "Power" and insert the pen on the reset button, all simultaneously.
6-Keep pressing, until the image with color stipes shows up
7-Connect the pda to the pc
8-Re-flash the device
9- After it reached 100%, it will turn off the display. When this happens, disconnect it from the PC, and make a hard reset.
10- Make a hard reset again, but now, instead of pressing "OK", remove the battery
11-Let it rest for 1 or 2 minutes
12-Insert the sim card, battery and sd card in the pda
13-Turn the pda on, by inserting the pen in th reset button
14- Enjoy your new rom

with big mistake i was flashing my ELF with a wrong rom( svp s650)..
it unbootable I tried everytings hard reset soft reset nothing changes: = (just the green light that stays on ..

I tried a few searches but all the results say you need the bootloader screen , are you sure you didn't miss a step in hard reset or bootloader mode :
To enter the bootloader:
Hold down the camera button and reset device with the stylus. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
An alternative way to enter bootloader:
Switch the device off by long pressing O/I (power) button. hold down the camera button while pressing the O/I button about 1 second. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
Alternative(universal?) bootloader(3)
As almost all htc smartphones with onboard camera, when you push and hold the camera(photo) button, and plug in usb adapter. Even a "stupid" usb power adapter will work.
To hard reset:
Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset.

I'm not sure if it's possible with the HTC Touch, but I know when I was playing around with an old iMate SP3i (smartphone) I was able to do a ROM upgrade from files on the memory card.. Took me a few attempts to get it right, but it worked. I think I also upgrade my SP5 to WM6 from WM5 that way, but I'm not too sure about that.
Either way, a basic idea of what I'm talking about can be found here, but that is obviously for a different phone.. Maybe some of the more common members here would have better luck finding a similar process on a Touch....?

On some HTC devices (cheetah, for example) if you put the ROM file (.bin) in the root directory of the SD card, the phone will flash directly from the SD card.
I think you do require to put the phone into bootloader for that to work though ... not 100% sure, but probably worth looking up.
Ok... Been trying to search for more information for you, but with not really knowing all the correct terminology it's taken me a while longer than I thought. I've found two threads that have some of the information I was looking for:
Recover / Revive your dead / bricked HTC ELF or ELFIN
Recover HTC Touch from tricolors RUU boot-loader (Mtty)
The second link is actually found inside the 2nd post (I think) of the first thread I mentioned here, looks like they are linked in some way. Your best bet is to read through and see if it is something that may help. Let us know if this works for you...?

i have HP ipaq 6815 and i.ve try to upgrade my ROM...but my SD card was not empty and ask to format the card.i shut down the phone and take off the batery for a while and now wont started...i've try with a diferent SD card not working...please can anyone tell me how to fix this problem...

hey i need ur help... i was upgrade with new rom.. after it complete i cant power on my phone... its not come to bootloader... only blinkingcharge light... dispay is full black after pressing power button.. not power on...

Did you try flashing a new ROM... or Hard Reset your device ?
don't know if it's 100% compatible,
I heared that P3300 and P3600 are pretty similar in all but GPS antenna cip..

My 3400 is not starting. When i start the phone it hangs up in the "windows mobile direct push technology" screen. I tried without SD card and SIM but no luck. I have all my contacts inside and I need them. How can I fix the problem of my phone. Please help.

just hard reset ur device but all data will be lost.

I searched google and got the method to hard reset.

To perform a hard reset (Full Reset) press and hold the left SOFT KEY and the right SOFT KEY, and at the same
time, use the stylus to press the RESET button at the middle left side of your device.
Release the stylus, but continue pressing the two SOFT KEYs until you see the following message on the screen:
This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset
all settings to manufacturer default. Press Send to restore
manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel.
Release now the two SOFT KEYs, and then press the TALK (Send) button

i was updating this rom "RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79.90_Ship" after 100% complete it turns off , but not start only Green and red light flash during press reset button...
i was try all methods,#remove batery 20 sec and then start with camer button & both camera and voice button, nothing shown in USB in PC. but result is same...
please help how i can recover my device.....
