I was reading Seesmic and I clicked on a link in one of the Tweets. The browser opened, page almost loaded, and then the screen went black. 1 second later the 3D boot animation started playing (no solid Nexus logo), and about 5 seconds after that, it was back in the OS.
Is this a hard crash? Never experienced it before.
that happened to me as well but in another application. what r u runing stock rom?
im on cmb4

Hi,
I seem to suddenly have problems with http://www.lovefilm.com site.
It works fine on 3G but on wifi it almost finishes loading and then hangs my browser causing me to force close.
Can someone try http://www.lovefilm.com on Wifi and see if it's their site or my phone.
Thanks
I am on stock rom btw.
It's you
it seems to be the Shutter Island banner on the top which takes ages to load.
are you getting the same problem with that banner?
The banner only loads on Wifi, not 3G
Yeah I'm on wifi... the full page loads and I can navigate around, no force close needed.
Interesting...
I went to the site on 3G. It was loading smoothly and when it had maybe 10 percent left slowed to a halt. I got the popup asking if I wanted to close because it was unresponsive. I chose to wait.
The interesting this is that this is the first time my N 1 acted glitchy. I pressed the home buttoning and it took forever to go there. Then, once there, the nexus live wallpaper was stuttering, the running streams of color were skipping about. Weird, and a first. Though the page eventually loaded up when I returned to the browser.
Some bad mojo on that site!

Click to collapse
thanks for the reply, thats exactly what happens to mine on wifi. Sure it's the top banner.
on 3G it's fine as the banner does not load, network must block it to load the page faster.
Glad its not my N1 anyway.
i had a weird problem today; i was in a restaurant and got my phone out of my pocket, and was scrolling the tabs when it suddenly froze (which never happened to me before) and became very slow.
then right after that the wallpaper disappeared and when i scrolled at the music tab it didn't show my tracks so i thought it was the SD card so i soft reset but it stuck forever at the white startup screen.
but after a few attempts it passed it (took a veeeeery long time) but the weird thing is, it didn't start the system but took me through the initial setup steps as if i was starting my phone for its first time...
but strangely it kept my email accounts (didn't keep youtube or twitter)
after it started, sense didn't launch and it kept asking for my permission to run "cht-wall" and other stuff but nothing happened afterwards...then it shows that .NET is missing...also it didn't detect my network and it set itself to vibrate!
so i cannot go to home screen but i can open and scroll start menu and go to lock screen, and all my programs are still there (haven't tested if they work though)
also, i get an error report saying that cprog.exe had an error and the message won't close...
i did a hard reset and everything was solved, but i'm confused cuz it never happened before or even heard about it. also worried it might happen again.
can anyone tell me what happened?
sorry if i wrote a long topic but i wanted to be as detailed as possible
ROM: stock WWE 1.66.415.4
radio: updated from 2.06.51 to 2.10.50 a couple of days ago
thanks in advance
OK guys,
This may sound weird. I see a glimpse of the home screen for about ~0.5 seconds while I am on another app/game. It's kind of freaky and happens almost all the time. Think it as if you are reading this post, you see the Windows desktop for a split second and then back to the browser. This started happening after JI6 update.
Currently I am rooted and have OCLF, stock ROM and installed ClockworkMod Recovery thru ROM Manager.
OCLF is cancer
Guys, I don't usually post on forums but now I just can't make myself sending it back without making sense of this first.
So I got the Nexus 7 one month ago, barely used it and didn't install any fancy stuff on it. One week ago I saw an app that I wanted and before installing it I had to install BusyBox. In my foolishness I didn't read the description that the tablet has to be rooted before I install it.
When the installation finished this exact problem suddenly happened: youtube.com/watch?v=5d319gUeYLM
Why I'm determined it's a hardware problem:
- The next morning I turned it on and everything was back to normal, however, after 15 seconds it slowly dimmed and got back to that exact screen
- You can navigate the menus and hear the sounds
- The morning after again, back to normal, I hurried and did a factory reset and deleted everything. This didn't help at all, the problem was still there and the screen never went back to normal even for a few seconds.
- It keeps the same lines in the recovery menu and on boot.
While everything points it's a hardware problem and the guy on YouTube said Asus replaced his display, how can this simply be a COINCIDENCE? For this to happen exactly when I installed something it wasn't supposed to be installed if the tablet wasn't rooted?
hi. i got my Note about weeks ago. i got it imported so cant get any warranty claim what so ever.
last night i was on tomshardware website and looked at exactly this page of gaming monitors. i tried to load the desktop site but it didnt.
i scrolled down to the bottom as everyone does. and i saw this issue for like 2 seconds, and then it said that browser has stopped. then it was ok.
now, today i woke up in morning , and out of no where, after like stopping my alarm, my Note 4's half screen started flickering and the image got stuck there.
then it stopped on its own.
now i went to Samsung test menu with *#0*# and checked that the screen test is ok, spen test is ok and everything is ok.
i started a game, and it game me that flickering again. what happens is like this . i dont have a camera to capture it, so thats why adding these images.
IT HAPPENS JUST LIKE THIS BUT ON MY DEVICE ITS THE LEFT SIDE, EXACTLY HALF OF LEFT SIDE OF DEVICE
i took the screen shot and its not the software. it shows all fine.
it stops when i rotate the screen and then happens again on its own, especially in games.
i know its ****ed already, but its sunday and markets here are closed, so as a last option im asking you guys is there any solution?
i have stock, unrooted lollipop.
