Hi guys,
I understand other people are having the same problem over in the Screenshot thread. The problem is that when using an icon from an icon pack, the icon becomes mis-aligned and not appearing the way that it should. Not sure, but just wondering if anybody has found a way to fix this?

If you really love the your specific icon pack, copy it to the sd card with astro, extract it in a folder (mount sd card, and use winrar to extract),
and then use bettercut option to choose image instead of iconpack.
There is a problem with bettercut and icon packs.

What do I have to convert my graphics to, to get Ilauncher to recognise them ? I was trying to change an icon and it wouldnt even recognise files in the ilauncher icon directory.
Is this because it is not registered ? Good app but wanted to play around with it for a while before I make up my mind.
Anyone ?

Yes, you can not change any icons in the free mode. You will have to buy the paid. Just place all your icons on your sd card and you change them by going clikcing the iluancher icon, change icon, scroll to the icon you want to change and click on it,and press change icon. It should take you to your gallery.
Hi Guys, my icon seems to have gone missing. I have the default icon (white square with blue top) But the icon for relevant software is gone. What can i do to recover? I tried ways but to no avail. Missing are HTC icons only like HTC People, Music, Calendar, footprint and twitter.
Help me will ya guys...

I just got the same problem today: anyone with a solution?
There are few programs for changing icons (hcomber,...), try them. And of course u need some icon files in png format, u can find them also somewhere here on the forum.
You could use the reSTART application and a set of icons to replace it.
Start Menu -> look at my HTC_Calendar and HTC_Music app - they both do not have the nice HTC icons (musical note icon and HTC Calendar app icon - the one you get when you hover over the calendar in the slider). It used to be there and when I tried to copy the file from the storage location to another location and copied it back, it no longer shows the icon - just the generic blue stripe at the top, white window icon. Any idea how I can make it so it generates and shows the nice icon? I looked at the .lnk file using notepad and noticed it points to ManillaShortcut music or calendar. That's it. There's no reference to an icon file or anything like that. Is there a reg key or something? Thanks in advance.
Can someone look in their Start Menu and tell me what (this is stock 2.13 ROM) the lnk is called and what it should point to? Currently - it is called HTC_Calendar and HTC_Music.

this will be of no help - they would just be icons with arrows that dont light up
you would need to mod the framework but iv not seen a way to do this on gingerbread - maybe there is way and I just havent come accross it
Ok. I tried adding the .png files but it didn't work. Assumed there was more to it.
Anyone know how to change this bloat icon? I think there is some file that is making the icon and the name look like this and I can get around it. I tried deleting and adding another stock apk but again the same icon
