Hi,
I just got the same problem today: anyone with a solution?
There are few programs for changing icons (hcomber,...), try them. And of course u need some icon files in png format, u can find them also somewhere here on the forum.
You could use the reSTART application and a set of icons to replace it.

Hi NisseDILLIGAF,
I am new to HTC Diamond, really appreciate all links you had put under the "Customizing TF3D - The Collection!", I had learnt alot.
I have problem with changing status bar color on my HTC Diamond, the status bar background color at the bottom of the screen had change to "light grey" instead of "black" color on all of tab option, such as the white "Phone text" and ""Program text" appear on a "light grey" background on the Home page, which leads me very difficuilt to read the "white text", are there any programs that you have or know that can change the background color of the status bar, back to "black" or any colors
Thank you very much
i m having the same problem... any hints?
sorry.. I missed your post earlyer...
I don't know why this has happend... never happend to me...
but have u tryed changing the WM Theme?
Start->Settings->Today-> click a WMTheme (HTC Black) -> ok
choose a different one than u have now... then u can go back to the one u want to have..
hope this helps...
This happened to me after I installed Mapking. If you have installed this program go to windows/startup directory and delete the mapking sms program. Reset and should be back to normal.

I have the diamond by alltel, and they decided not to even include the black theme for some reason. any other way to do this? I just want to change the top and bottom bars to black. Thanks.
here is what you need
Thanks, but I could not get this to work on the diamond. It said it was going to change the color, but it looks like this program was designed for win mobile 5.
Am I just over looking something? Any other diamond users wanna help me out here?

Hey guys!
I use my HTC Diamond to read feeds and podcasts with the build in RSS-Hub.
But there's one thing I would like to change: The icon in Task- / Traybar.
I don't like this colored 3D-Icon, 'cause all of the other icons are white and simple.
Does anybody know how to change it?
Thanks!
Greets
Tom

I personal use this cab for the top bar. May be what your looking for
It would help to see what you are trying to recover.
But, here is a possible suggestion that might fit: FInixNOverBattery http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ght=finixnover
Thanks for the response guys,
will try and post some pics up when i get home from work. Not feasible for me to do so just now.
In particular what i am after are the topbar icons relating to volume, signal strentgh, battery level, multiple notifcation icon, headphones connected icon etc.
Need the manila files for those specific icons ideally. I suppose i could be cheeky and approach pzucchel directly to see if he could give me the info.

Hello everybody
Does somebody knows why in my Task Manager :
- HTC Calendar icon,
- HTC Footprints icon,
- HTC Music icon,
- HTC People icon
are all the same & with such a boring graphic ?
Have you a solution to change them knowing that I'm a beginner ?
Thank you in advance for help.
PS : I did not find a way to include a screen shot as I do not have an URL.
There is an addon that does it, I had exactly the same. There is an icon pack you cause use to put it back to default, but after my last hard reset I can't seem to locate it for love nor money, sooo I have used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=567080 and just Googled the images and resized and used them instead.
It's a bit long winded, but it's better than looking at those bloody white boxes.
Thank you Kalavere,
I will have a look at this thread
Hi everyone,
this night, my phone went off. I started it a few minutes ago, and now, all icons exect menu from the lower taskbar / dock are gone (call, message, contacts). I didn't install anything yesterday - what's wrong here?
Please help, if you can...
All the best,
ww
Are the icons in the application drawer? If so, just press menu, edit and drag the icons back to the dock..
If they're not there either, well, I'm fresh out of ideas.

I found a solution: i cleared all data from twlauncher - now all icons are gone, but the dock icons are back in place - very strange though...
