[Q] Desire HD on Holland

Hey,
My friend is going to Holland and while he is there he will buy a Desire HD from a local store. He will be there only for three days so it is not suitable for us to buy from an online store.
But i heard that only few online stores are taking orders and we dont have any chance of finding a local store that has Desire HD.
Does anyone from Holland knows where can we buy Desire HD ?

Thank you for helping, i have one more question though;
does the shop has to have a "tax-free" logo for us to get a tax refund with the receipt at airport or it does not matter where we shop as long as we have the receipt ?
if it does matter, what is the status of pdashop.nl or belcompany, do they support tax free shopping ?

Belcompany does. You can get ur tax back at the airport.

Sorry, don't know about tax free things. Maybe at the airport after check-in. A few weeks ago I saw a HTC Desire (Not HD) verry cheap at Schiphol airport.

Amazon Focus Shipped yet?

Has anyone that ordered the Focus while it was on sale on amazon shipped yet? It said it was in stock since Tuesday but my still hasn't shipped

what's you delivery estimate date that amazon has stated?

I ordered mine yesterday after 2pm courier cut off date from amazon but it couldn't be shipped today as it's thanksgiving. Mine will be shipped tomorrow and I will get mine on 30th nov as per amazon date.

I ordered mine on the 18th to but i just got the shipping email about an hour ago

Ordered mine on the 23rd when it was estimated to ship in 1-2 weeks. Just got an email saying it shipped today the 26th with an arrival on the 29th. Can't wait!

mine was shipped today. delivery estimate is 29th nov
charged $499 as I bought it outright to be used in New Zealand. someone will bring it over for me from US next week. mine was shipped via UPS.

When I originally ordered mine, it was backordered and the delivery estimate was January 4th, 2011 with a ship date of Jan 3rd. I ordered on the 20th, and to my surprised it shipped on the 26th, was really excited I didn't have to wait till the new year to get it. Its arriving today, cause of the weekend.

I am in the UK - ordered from Expansys on Monday 31st around 15:00. They shipped it via DHL overnight express from France (via Germany) and it arrived before 09:00 the next morning. Price was £458.32 UKP plus £5.82 for next day delivery. On top of that was UK VAT tax of £92.83 making a total of £556.97.
It came with two chargers - one with a European mains plug and another with a UK plug as the stock was general European stock rather than UK specific. The only difference was that it started in German (easily changed) and some of the pre-defined bookmarks in the web browser were for samsung.de sites. Again no problem.
That's cheaper than anyone else I've seen selling it in the UK (including next day delivery before 10:00 and a spare charger!)

Yes but if you live out of UK substract the VAT

how did you get it for that price shipped to the united states? For me its coming out to about $740 or 464GBP

Good lookin out. However I was on an Australian forum...you'll have to Google search Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 forum to find it but there were a few members that found Australian retailers selling below $500.
For you prospective US buyers, Negri so far has had the lowest price I've found (their price include shipping) and is in the $570 range. Still pricey.
But really not much more than the 8.9 and you get so many more features on the 7.7.
I'm ordering this tab this weekend....can't wait finally to have it in my hands!!!

It was at my house in 3 days as they ship fast.
The part that Negri doesn't mention is it's the Hong Kong version and doesn't come with a US AC plug adapter.I already had one so no big deal for me.

Guess I should have clarified that I got the P6810 for that price. Just checked Negri and you are correct that the P6800 is about $100 more.

There are a few reputable sellers listing the 6800 on ebay now.

If this doesn't come with a US AC adapter where does one find one at?
Also since it's the Asian version, I guess it comes with Chinese language as the default? A setting change I presume at set up. However do you know if the keyboard will be in Chinese as well?
They say they are sending directly from Nevada, so I am in Florida right now...will see how long it takes.
For those of us with the WiFi only, an option you have is to get a personal "MiFi" hotspot. I got mine as a pay as you go device from T-Mobile. I can connect at 4G LTE speeds most of the time with my old tablet. I just top off the MiFi when I know I will be on the road.

I had a US power adapter included with my purchase given to me by the cell dealer.
Also once the settings change has been made everything including the keyboard will switch to the selected language.

No seriously, just search the web and find us one guy who has already received his Galaxy Tab 7.7 from Simply Electronics! They claim to have stock since a few months but everything that I've read even recently, tends to show they don't have any in stock.

well if they are dont be able to send the Device within 10 business days my Bank will get the money back..allready talked with them.
I payed with GOLD-Mastercard so im always able to get money back
Anyway i believe that simply electronics will deliver within 10 business days.
And if not they will Black listed by me for sure!!

Thanks! I actually mentioned that being the Asian version of the 7.7 it would require a U.S, AC plug adapter. Negri said they would include it in the box with the tablet.
I got confirmation of the order, and confirmation of the shipping with a FedEx tracking number. I should receive the tab on Thurs 1/26. This is within the time expected for the "free" shipping option I chose when I ordered from Negri.
I also ordered the OEM Samsung case for the 7.7. Thanks for the recommendation on that vendor (http://www.thecellguru.com/Products/62515) it wwas the best price as well. Also got an order confirmation and shipping tracking order from them as well.

I ordered my original SGT 7" from Simply Electronics. They were the cheapest place at the time. I think I paid around $630 last year. Anyway, I received it very fast by DHL.
My only problem/concern was that they don't tell you that the item is coming to you from Hong Kong. I had a problem with one that I bought from eBay first that I thought was coming from the U.K. It had a lot of Korean Apps. I think that it had been flashed as the package came from Slovakia.
So, when I got the one from S/E, and saw that it also had a lot of Korean Apps on it, I contacted them and they said that they try to send version that are for the correct country. They also offer a one year warranty. The only problem was that I had sent both of my tablets to Samsung Repair Centre in the U.K. to have them flash it to the correct English versions(I bricked the first one by flashing the wrong CSC).
So, just from my experience, I didn't have any problems and had I not already sent it back to the U.K. to have them officially flash them(Yes, I do know how now , I could have sent it back to Simply Electronics and they would have sent me a U.K. version. So, I think they are pretty legit from my experience. As they always say, YMMV.

Absolutely no problems. Total ship time 6 days via DHL. $2 extra for DHL.
I have had fewer problems with customs using registered air mail.
DHL, UPS and Fedex are sticklers for correct customs info.
Singapore, China Post are easier with nary a problem over 8 years and hundreds of shipments.
