Cannot boot after radio and spl update

After updating radio and spl my phone is stuck on the "T.. Mobile" "G1" boot screen.
Any help available? can I access the sd card without booting?

Was it haykuro's SPL? Can you get in to recovery (power+home) or the bootloader (power+camera)?

if it's haykuro's spl...
Hopefully, you READ & FOLLOWED the directions and flashed the RADIO first, then flashed the SPL. If you did not, then your phone is bricked.

if u cn get into recovery reflash ur rom. and like everyone else says hope u flashed the radio 1st

I did the radio first
I was able to boot into recovery, i tried a wipe and a few things but couldnt get it.
Eventually I got it by reflashing cyanogenmod.

The SPL wipes the ROM, so after flashing the SPL you would need to reflash >.>

This may sound like a silly question but please forgive me as I have not yet flashed the haykuro spl.
Once you've flashed the new spl, instead of flashing the update.zip of the cyanogen rom, can't you use nandroid restore? Or will that restore the previous spl as well (in my case HARD SPL)?
I ask because I would like to try the spl, but I'm so comfortable with my rom and settings that I would hate to wipe just to try Hero which is still in development. Call me crazy, but I like stable and finished builds. But I am curious and with a lot of time on my hands but not so much that I'm willing to lose everything just to try something that I'm not going to keep.

I'm not actually sure about using nandroid after the SPL flash, but I'm certain that nandroid doesn't copy your SPL (I could be wrong). It would make sense for it to work.

i update inly spl from 1.33.0009 to 1.33.1000 and when its boot greeze in vodafone logo

I HAd The Same Issue, BUT YOU DIDNT BRICK YOUR PHONE all YOu Need To Do Is Flash The Rom , Thats The Resone Its Stayin On The Boot Screen Because Of No ROm Installed So Go Into Recovery >connect Your phone> choose usb toggle in recovery> (if on your pc you need a drivers, try putting the sdcard iin a next phone and connect it to the cpu> drag your rom to your sdcard (ROOT NOT IN A FOLDER) and flash it wen it boot first its gonna take long but dont worry it would come on :good:

Partitioning and applying Radio/SPL/SuperD

Hi.. I've spent alot of hours researching, rooting and installing SenseHero 1.6 onto my unbranded 32A HTC Hero, and now i want to change the ROM to something else.
I want to use Super D ROM with the Elegance theme.

I stumbled onto an error when trying to apply the Radio spl thingy (Failure at line 2...) and from what i read i think it's because my sd card isn't partitioned correctly.
I also got the same error when trying to apply Damage Control ROM, what does it mean ?
? Just to be sure i've rooted it.. When i open up the recovery menu with Home+Power button and it says "AmonRa 1.5.2", and i've been able to apply SenseHero ROM does that mean it's rooted?
? Do i need to partition my SD card, and how would i go about that?
This is what im doing:
1. Boot to AmonRa 1.5.2 Recovery
2. Apply ota-radio-2_22_19_26I.zip (renamed to update.zip) <-- Stuck here
3. Reboot to Recovery
4. Apply spl-signed.zip (renamed to SPL.zip)
5. Reboot to Recovery
6. Apply SuperD-ROM.zip (renamed to ROM.zip)
...
7. Install EleganceDesign.zip (??? How do i install this ???)

Also, is Super D the right ROM for me ? I'm mainly choosing it because of the Elegance Theme.. I need an allround nice ROM.. SenseHero seems ok, but i can't help but think other ROM's have more to offer.. Tho speed is most important!

There is no such thing as a "32A" Hero! Presumably you have a Magic/Sapphire, so I suggest you post in those forums - flashing a ROM that you find in this forums is probably a very quick way of bricking your device.

I think there is a way to allow a 32A magic to act like a hero but have no idea how it works.
Post on the correct forum and you will get a better answer.

HD2 wont get passed white HTC screen :(

So, i finally went and tried to get a 6.5.5 rom on my HD2 after reading everywhere that its alot better. Everything worked, the hardspl, the customruu installation..
then the phone booted, it showed the rom information (ROMeOS4 LEO Windows Mobile 6.5.5) and it said it was "customizing" dont know why really.. then it restarded, and now it wont get past the white HTC screen.. what do i do??

have you installed the proper radio for your rom?

I didnt install any radio... im guessing thats bad?

There would be a radio on your device from your original rom, it's probably just the wrong version. As stated, for that rom you require either the 2.07.50 or 2.08.50 radio. Follow the link in my signature and flash the radio exactly the same way as you flashed your rom.

OKay i got all that but i cant flash it because the phone is stuck at the white htc boot screen so the customRuu doesnt recognize it.
what do i do now? im stumped.. is there a manual hard reset key press or something?
EDIT: I figured out how to get into bootloader and im now putting the right radio on it, lets see if this works

Just pot your phone in bootloader mode by reseting while presing volume down button and after that flash the proper radio.

Putting the radio wich you suggested on it didnt work, it still hangs at the white htc screen... should i flash another rom? i really dont wanna kill my HD2 haha

any ideas? i apologize for bumping but im really not at home in the flashing world and im fearing that my phone really wont start

I sugest you to flash back your original rom by sd card and restart the whole proces once again by flashing the radio first and after that the desired rom.
By flashing the original rom trought sd card metod you will have to reinstall HSPL.

Yeah i know, well i flashed some roms on my old topaz and stuff but i really should have looked more into this, your right. sorry

a Rom Canot Work Without Radio Thats Why wont get thrue

try this and see....
try to hold both up/dowm volume keys and thn hold power button.
one message will appear tht,if u want to restore ur phone or not, press the upper volume button, ur phone will restore on its original settings.......try it out.....

mine got stuck on the white screen last week... i removed the SD card, restarted it again and then it worked...then i retried with the sd card and it was ok... don't know why

2:i flash the froyo2.2 rom version 1.2.1 successfully
i install an app and then i restart my hero
and now problem is starting...my hero cant boot itself
i hard-reset it/but this way cant help my hero to boot itself/
what should i do now with my hero?

Flash a different (or newer version) of a custom rom. Sounds like something went wrong.

in this situation can i flash another rom?
anybody suggest any way?whit flashing new rom it will be done?

Yeah, what BTDAG said.
Turn it off,... Turn back on into recovery (HOLD HOME + POWER) then flash a new ROM.
It may have been that your download corrupted, you could just try downloading the same ROM again or try another.

[Q] HTC HD2 freezing when it boots up

Whats up everyone, quick help here. I got a hd2 from someone and they tried to flash the phone to dual boot android on it. The guy was unsuccessful in doing so as a result the phone now freezes when it boots up and i would have to take out the battery to turn it off.
Do I have to flash the phone back to the original windows 6.5 rom to resolve this?
any help is appreciated

Depends on what you finally want to have on that device.
If you want to go back to WinMo 6.5 as major OS, it certainly is the easiest way just to flash a stock ROM.
If you still want to continue with a NAND Android build, maybe it´s enough to check the versions of SPL, Radio ROM, and MAGLDR - as well as the Android ROM that was flashed. Could have been a bad flash after all.
But since your data is extremely meager, no way to give a generic and easy hint.

thanks for the incite..first i want to get it bak to factory settings so i will want to flash it back to the original rom.then ill look into flashing it myself with the droid rom without windows..no dual boot.

Hello there I was the same problem with my HTC, I can't flash it back to the original rom. It's just frozen at the boot loader... What should I do? It's not recognize on my pc...

what do you mean frozen at the bootloader? it won't recognize if you plug in usb at all?
