Hello
Is there anyone here, who has a recipe, on how to gain access to my network printer?

HTC TyTn II
If your printer is one of Canon, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, PlanOn or Brother then Jetcet Print might help you.
otherwise a windows mobile driver for the printer in question is required just like on a pc
problem is that not all printer makers make drivers for wm

Hello everybody, I´m trying to connect my XDA II device to a portable
printer with bluetooth by code (C# or VB .NET).
The problem I have is that I can´t get the data I need to connect with
the printer with the bluetooth software that comes with the XDA (the
port that has to be used on the printer to get connected, etc...).
Does anyone know some way or software (open source), that could help
me to get that information ???
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.
look at opennetcf.org
fumaillo,
have a look at http://www.opennetcf.org here you'll find a framework and samples that you can use to manipulate bluetooth in the way you need. In the namespace IO.serial there are the functions for port access and in the forum you can discuss your issue with othe BTers.
Kind regards,
Udo
I found this perfect portable photo printer on the web.
But it only have IrDA interface.
Do any one know Magician is compatiable to this printer?
How can I make my mini to be able to print through infra-red?
Thanks everyone
I've tested 2 soft for this purpose: HP Mobile Printing and KSE True Imprimer
One of this (I don't remember which one) can print only text (word, txt) and the other also images. I did it with an Irda Canon LaserJet and I worked perfect.
Now I don't have the printer anymore to make more testing.
Some photo printers are only compatible with photo cameras of the same company and I don't know if the Fujitsu is able to print other things than pictures.
Good Luck!
I've scan through results on the web, and sales opinions; it's for sure that can be used on a long listed of modern handsets(i.e. some are Symbian-based and some are properity laucher), most of them are SE and Nokia handsets.
I've also found some commerical software for WM2003se to enable photo IrDA printing, coz I'm not sure it will talk to the MP-100.
Hope someone have more experience on IrDA printing standard.
Thanks everyone ^^
I've scan through the Fijifilm website, it require infra-red device support IrOBEX profile
Does Magician support this standard in its infra-red port?
How to activate it?
Please help ^^
Thanks a lot

Everything you need to know about this.
I'll definitely recommend JEtcet as well; amazing printing utility and printing via wifi has never been easier with the newest version.
yup. Jetcet is great. can't get better than this
So I must use the new version JETCET, and I must configure the IP ...
How to configure the JETCET ?
Just downloaded JETCET trial. It's amazing. Definitely going to buy this one!
so...is it the port 9100 equal to Wifi?
Direct IP (a.k.a. Port 9100)

yes is called clicker but you need to install server software on your windows machine

I don't think there is such a thing for wm. My wife has a SE so I know what you mean - it is quite effective. It is a bluetooth profile not a piece of software. We don't have that profile unfortunately.
