Everything you need to know about this.

I'll definitely recommend JEtcet as well; amazing printing utility and printing via wifi has never been easier with the newest version.

yup. Jetcet is great. can't get better than this

So I must use the new version JETCET, and I must configure the IP ...
How to configure the JETCET ?

Just downloaded JETCET trial. It's amazing. Definitely going to buy this one!

so...is it the port 9100 equal to Wifi?
Direct IP (a.k.a. Port 9100)

Hi all,
i have the same cam, and it works perfect on my mda-pro
I use TCMP to view my camĀ“s here is the link http://www.tcmp.org/
You have to open it like a file only insert http://ip.of.cam/img/video.asf
as file name !
Greetings from germany
RAVE
not http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/download ?
how about some clever spod to write software for universal so that the universal is the ip cam, surlly its possible
Carnivor, nice idea, Universal as a wifi webcam would be great.

Try ComVu PocketCaster for the HTC Universal.

Rave i've tried solution but it doesn't work
anyone else tried it ?
Use TCPMP & video.asf output
Hi,
I got my Linksys working with TCPMP (Latest) and using the following typed into File>Open file (in TCPMP) leave off port if default
http://ipaddress:port/img/video.asf
Can't make it work with username and password unfortunately but if you use an obscure port, it should be relatively safe unless someone knows different?
Hope this helps, and btw it works on WiFi, GPRS & 3G - Fullscreen!
George
Try www.tcpmp.com or www.corecodec.org

Logmein in Leo?

Hi,
I was using Logmein Ignition on iPhone to access my PC's, unfortunately after couple of attempt I cannot enable logmein client to work on my HD2.
Are there any other alternatives to logmein?
Remote Desktop Mobile? You can find it in Start>Tools. Check the forum for tips on how to set up you HD2 to allow you to run it in Landscape mode.

As masi0 said, use remote desktop. It looks a bit daunting at first, after using logmein, but it works a treat using pinch-to-zoom.
Logmein has not worked since the latest version of IE was introduced. It used to work and I loved it as a remote client, but RDP is just as good once you're used to it.

Yeah, especially if You have dynamic IP, or/and NAT.
Personally using a weird combination of RDP/RDM+OpenVPN, which allows me to connect through my carrier's restricting proxy to my network with no problems; it's a bit of a hassle to set up though. Guide here.
VPN-wise, I believe Logmein had a beta Hamachi client for Pocket PC long ago, but I'm not sure if it's working anymore, although it seems to be. Should be available here.
I've managed to get Logmein working on the Leo with the use of IE Toggle. Can connect remotely, however, software keyboard doesn't work - reading emails is fine, but no chance of replying!!!

That's as close as I ever got since the introduction of this version of IE (when I was using a HD). I've always used remote desktop since.
Have you looked at VNC? I've never tried a mobile version of that myself, but I've seen it working in videos and it looks pretty good.

IE toggle is a small program to allow the use of the old IE which works with logmein. I am using this on a 6.5 rom with good result but the HTC keypad does not work. The swype keyboard does work however so all is now well. BTW, the IE toggle did not work in the 6.5.5 roms.

If the computer is switched off, then it won't wake it unless it has a specific WOL instruction from the network. Remote Desktop won't do this, no apps would unless you're on the same wifi network, and I've not come across an app for it anyway.

Access to Networkprinter - How?

Hello
Is there anyone here, who has a recipe, on how to gain access to my network printer?
regards
Karsten
HTC TyTn II
If your printer is one of Canon, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, PlanOn or Brother then Jetcet Print might help you.
otherwise a windows mobile driver for the printer in question is required just like on a pc
problem is that not all printer makers make drivers for wm

I thought Sprint had removed it on the 6.5 upgrade, but they just had moved it into the Tools option on the start menu. It is in there and hiding.
A word of advice. Even though a small number of printers are listed, most printers have "emulations" that you can use. For example, I have a Brother laser and it has a HP LaserJet emulation. You can't use all the features but it prints simple things like word docs and emails.
Ok thanks a lot
I'm going to try it.
bye
