weli, i've been having very good luck with the help of all you on the xda board, many thanks! this had been one the most useful pda/smartphone i've owned.
my latest fortunate experience has been to choose the latest QTEK ROM to support stereo headsets. the HT i-take bluepro, and HT820 headphones works within the limits of my needs, they can actually reach 20-30 feet from the universal!
my only misforgiving at the moment would be that when i try to turn on the GSM/GPRS radio i start to get drops out.
i jus don't seem to hav the same registry tree:
HKLM/SOFTARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Divices/[1-4] i don' ahve a settings to put the entries i've seen....
any cluses? i didn't add any extra bluetooth .fll or stuff this is just the stock setup.\
btw: i did do the priority256 hack
these both moto bt820's and i-tack bluepro's
RE
skywriter,
Is your audio (A2DP) drop outs conflict with your GSM/GPRS or with your WiFi?

it's with WIFI. but i haven't been in a place place where i get GSM/GPRS service yet. when i get to work i'll check it out.
GSM/GPRS works fine. call interruption and resume also work fine. just WIFI
any tweaks other than priority256?
I tried PHM on my HTC P3600 (Expansys) and tested all the speeds shown that were available -- they all checked out OK, from 450 down to 250. I then selected a range of five speeds for the autoscale, from my lowest to highest 'favourites' including the lowest and highest.
I find a marked improvement with TCPMP and Skype when I hard-set the 450 speed. However, if I allow the thing to self-scale, it will drop to the lowest speed on idle, and then:
IT MISSES CALLS AND SMS!
Anyone care to share experiences?
As of this time the antontomov.com forum is down so I can't check that for comment.
Thanks!

Quick Question!! Does your Bluetooth work if you set the step to 420MHz or faster?
That's one thing I forgot to mention. Turning BT on and off is very hit and miss. Didn't notice if it was at a set speed, but yes, I had problems with BT.
Nobody tried PHM with Trinity?
miss calls
I have the same Problem. My Trinity misses calls & SMS when I set a speed different from 400Mhz.
Does anyone know why this is happening ?
I keep trying Tomov's forum but it's always down. This is very frustrating. The 450Mhz option makes Skype useable but surely this Samsung processor can be clocked higher than 450Mhz? Then maybe my TCPMP .avi movie collection would be without stutter.
Also, I have a question: Once you run PHM and set a CPU speed, does that speed stay current even if you dismiss PHM, or do you have to minimise PHM to keep the CPU settings?
TIA!
Any help here would really be appreciated.
Hi,
I'm using XCPUScalar2007 with auto-scale function and I don't miss calls or sms at all (tried many times in different configurations).
I set the auto-scale as follow:
100Mhz up to 15% of CPU load
300Mhz to 40%
400Mhz to 70%
472Mhz from 71 to 100%.
With XCPUScalar, the highest possible frequency is 500Mhz.
I did not had time to test this settings with a BT headset, but BT activation is ok, and no visible problem with my BT GPS receiver (holux GPSlim 236).
Thanks very much bynico92! I didn't think XCPUScalar was compatible with Samsung - but obviously so! I will give it a go.
Well, I have purchased and installed XCPUScalar and it appears to be working fine, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it doesn't actually do anything.
I say this, because viewing a movie in Core Player (TCPMP) at 100Mhz gives the same viewing experience as with 472Mhz.
Anyone else?
I have tried XCPUScalar, too.
Different settings from 100 to 500 Mhz give the same benchmark results.
IMHO XCPUScalar is not working with the Trinity.

Thanks for the confirmation! In fact, the Samsung CPU in the Trinity is not listed as supported by XCPUScalar anywhere where that software marketed or promoted. Pocket Hack Master is useless also despite being marketed as 'compatible'.
Anyone using a clock speed app successfully on the Trinity?
Sorry, I don't want to flog this to death but I'll have one more go. Is anyone using a functioning overclock utility on the Trinity?
Thanks!

I guess you're not getting any response. As far as I know, people have overclocked the Trinity, but there has always been some bad side effects. Maybe with a new ROM it will work better??
It doens't work for me too. I tried PHM an XCPUScalar. Benchmarks are always the same.
hi
is bluetooth of my p3600 bridled or limited (sorry i don't know the exact english word)?
transfer file or dun (dial up network) speed is about only 20k far from theoric 700k bluetooth support!
please what can i do?
My BT transfer never exceed 20k ... maybe it is usual for this device.
HTC ...
arfffff... if I knew it i would not have to buy a dongle bluetooth
Any solution please?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth
the 700 IS 700Kbit/sec
not Kbytes
like the 20k is likely to be
So It seems bluetooth 1.0/1.1/1.2?
Trinity support bluetooth 2.0 or not?
My dongle is bluetooth 2.0
Which can be the cause of the problem?

HTC genius technicians ... maybe ...
I have an question. What value can be successed on s3c2442A (CHT9100) with bluetooth and Wifi?
I test some value but it just crashed!
Did someone success on Overclocking?
Don't tell me xcpuscalar. It doesn't support S3c2442A.
Thx.

I have overclocked & set it at 450MHz & it seems to be quite stable & fast.
I'm currently charging my BT Headset, will check it if bluetooth works fine and also the A2DP(streaming audio/video).
Anyway I don't think overclocking shouldn't affect the bluetooth performance.

Did you overclock with Pocket Hack Master?
And what value did A2DP work fine?
(Ex: MDIV PDIV SDIV HDIVN & PDIVN...)

Yes! Overclocked with PHM, values reported by PHM @ 450MHz are:
HCLK-75,PCLK-38,Volts-NC,SI-159,MIPS-105,Memory-213,Status-PASS.
Well, about A2DP, the default settings are working alright as of now....will cross-check with A2DP registry values & tell later.
hsdpa still is dead with hack master...
Then with Pocket Hack Master v4.32 I can overclock my p3600 without problems?
.....please..
Hi all,
I get major problems with all WM6.1 german ROM's out there using stereo bluetooth headsets. I had no problem at all with same headset with german WM6.0. I have a skipping like once a second in other words it's not usable at all.
I tried already lots of registry settings described in this forum, changing the radio rom and also the A2DPFix nothing helps.
I would like to try a WWE WM6.1 ROM now so the developers of the german ROM's have something to compare with where stereo bluetooth is working. Can someone confirm a working stereo bluetooth headset with a WWE WM6.1 ROM and which ROM are you using? Another info would be nice if you needed to do some modifications like registry settings or the A2DPFix or if the ROM worked right out of the box.
Thanks for any info!
You can make work AD2P with most of WM6.1 rom using schaps configuration tool.
In bluetooth settings, set bitpool and maximum supported bitpool to 30.
You will have less quality sound but music is listenable.
The only feature I've not found in every 6.1 rom I've tried so far is activating bluetooth stéréo from the headset.
If someone knows a fix, please post.

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Settings
UseJointStereo ----> 0
And try BitPool -----> 48
Get Luck !
Report your result, please.
Thanks for the hints .. sadly it makes no difference at all. Still skipping like once a second. Will try a WWE WM6.1 over the weekend if I got time. Thinking of FInixNOver WM6.1 V3.4
A2DP Success
Hi - I just posted details of a successful combination in another thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401548
ROM: Akeo WM6.1 Diamond Edition
Radio: Radio 1.50.08.11
Schaps Advanced Configuration Tool:
Bitpool: 30
Max Supported bitpool: 30
Minimum Suported bitpool: 14
Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
bitpool 30 is NOT successfull its crap ... add to this combination a2dp fix from Sleuth255 and pool can be upgraded to 40 ... but battery will drain faster ....

It's better than the audio being interrupted 3 times a second, which is all I had previously.
One man's crap is another mans manure.
I'l try the bitpool at 40 an see what happens.
