Hi!
I have some bad UMTS and GSM connection and I want to find out, if a different Radio rom will help or not.
I got this versions:
R 0.27.30.09
G 12.27.30.09H
D 1.40.407.2 (21259)
I tried to find somewhere a radio update, but I was not successful...
Cherrs,
Stefan
ROM version: 1.40.401.2(21259)
ROM date: 10/24/08
Radio version:0.27.30.09
Protocol version:12.27.30.09W
How do I find out wether the ROM on my HD2 is a 'vanilla' version or an Operator version?
I got my HD2 from Phones4U with a Vodafone contract so I dont know if it has been 'tampered with' by Vodafone... the version is -
1.48.405.2(71294) WWE
Radio -
2.06.51.07 (after the HTC upgrade)
Manilla -
2.5.19211619.0
Windows -
5.2.21869 (21869.5.0.82)
Any help will be appreciated!

Alan
Hi all ,
I’m in Canada and I would like to know if there’s any rom/ radio that will make my phone 3G so I would be able to use it for fido internet ( although my phone is unlooked and its originally from Europe ) below is some info :
OS version:
5.2.21869 ( 21869.5.0.82
Manila version:

hi.if the bands don't match (you didn't say what bands fido uses, our what model phone you have, 8585?) then nothing you do to the rom will help.
they use (850/900/1800/1900) but for the phone i'm not 2 sure where to find that ,

As stated by you the phone is an European version, the model must be T8585 then there’s nothing you can do to run on Fido 3G network. Fido supports UTMS 850Mhz and the T8585 supports only 900/2100 Mhz. Unless your is from Australian Telstra version (Model T9193) then it will work on Fido network. One quick way to find out if your is T9193 is looking at the back below the battery cover and there should be a logo something liked ‘NextG …’ imprinted.
ok thanks alot for the info
Well, the title says it all really.
I keep trying to make calls to other mobiles, but just after i click on to dial, it beeps as if its just hung up before it even tries to dial out.
I've tested several times with different numbers, landlines and mobiles. All landlines work fine. But mobiles don't go through. I've tested the mobiles and they've all had 80-100% signal, as well as my phone having the same.
I can receive all calls, but just cant make them to mobiles.
Any advice?? Update the radio perhaps???
Heres my current software info if you need it (don't know what you'll need, so heres all of the basic stuff):
OS Version: 5.2.21869 (21869.5.0.82)
Manila Version: 2.5.19211619.0
ROM Version: 1.66.405.2 (76641) WWE

Thanks for any help in advance!!!
Hi,
I have the following problem with my HD2.
It looks like the phone can only store one WiFi network at a time.
Whenever i connect to a different WiFi network i need to re-enter the pass-phrase (WPA2-PSK) and since i use a 12-character randomly generated pass-phrases this is a pain in the **.
The phone connects instantly if it connects to the same network.
This is sometimes a problem for me because i connect to 6 different WiFi-networks on a regular basis and can't remember all passwords.
I have enabled the WiFi-N using BsB-Tweaks.
The phone details are as followed:
OS Version: 5.2.21869 (21869.5.0.82)
Manila Version: 2.5.19211619.0
ROM Version: 1.66.404.1 (76641) NLD (Stock)
Radio Version: 2.06.51.07
Is this a known issue and is there a fix or a work-around?
