Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the default behaviour since Cupcake/Donut to be honest, but I realised with my Nexus One running CyanogenMod 5.0 BETA 2, if I've a conversion with say X who starts the conversation:
X (15:00):
Hi
Me (14:59):
Hi

My reply will be shown on top of X's "Hi" even though he said Hi first.
Me (14:59):
Hi

In other words it seems Google shows the conversation and sorts it by timestamp, and not by the order in which messages are sent or received.
Any ideas?

I've never had a problem with getting 2 notifications for every message with GoSMS. It blows away the stock messaging app -- especially if you put it in Normal mode.
Other than that, not sure how to get Emojii.

really? on every phone ive had the group chat comes up as 2 notifications no matter what, it first gets a message and downloads it a half a second later and goes off again tried all the setting and could not get it working properly
I believe you can install an "emoji keyboard" from the the app store which will give you emoji everywhere in the OS. Ive never tried them since I don't use emoji, except in whatsapp....the significant other insists on using them

I have the same problem as him, albeit I don't mind that much. But I get the message as a multimedia message (1 notif) then it automatically downloads (2nd notif) so for every text it makes 2... kinda annoying but yeah.

YES MOTOROLA! YES!
It seems they moved the Active Display to the PlayStore aswell, this is the way to do it!
According to this:

Edit2: According to Punit Soni, it's available from KitKat and on

They fixed the unlock delay!!!!
Sent from my Moto X using Tapatalk
didnt fix my lag.
This really ruined the unlock from active display. I reverted back to the old one. I never really had any problems with it.
Might as well ask here.
If I get a text message and access it through Active Notifications then the phone goes to the text message app and displays the message. BUT it seems that if the last app I was in WAS the messaging app and it was still open it goes there but just shows me where I was before.
Could be going crazy of course.

Logically thinking it's very possible. Did that happen before?
Reboot the phone after

Reboot the phone after the update and the lag is fixed!
Also you will get a new load screen that is very cool!

New phone, not really familiar with "before"
Ok so I'll ask here so I don't open another thread:
Is there a way to get the battery percentage on the active screen when "breathing" the time? You know, cuz us that are obsessed with our battery life need more notification for it.
Installed !!!
No more active display delay !!! :victory:
Hi All,
I updated to 4.4.2 Polish a week ago, and after that I am struggling to get my WhatsApp and Facebook notifications.
I do get them eventually but only after I open each app. It is as if the background service stops running after I close the app.
Is there a specific app or service that does this?
Any ideas?
Thanks

It would be really helpful, if you asked your question in the Cyanogenmod thread. I'm not really sure what the delayed notification problem is, would you mind explaining a little more?
Check the play store for a little APP called PNF. Allows you to set the heartbeat intervals (basically like a ping signalling the server you are still online and able to receive push notifications). Worked everytime when a device of mine would have this issue.
