How can I stop my hard buttons to stop flashing?

Hey guys. So my HTc Hd2 is being weird. The hard buttons won't stop flashing. I noticed it since I've Today. It was fine in the morning but just randonlly it started blinking. It's annoying the crap out of me. I tried to go to settings and figure it out but i can't fix it. Any ideas?
Do you have Cookies home tab installed ?
I'm guessing you've got a Gingerbread NAND ROM. I get that occasionally - it's a known issue.
Just make dummy phonecall (I usually dial 0 and hit ring) and then hang up. It stops it, till next time.
There is no permanent fix, yet.
Weird, this never happened to me... Until I saw this thread! One or two hours latter: keypad was flashing THIS THREAD IS DOOMED! ahah
I'm using SuperRAM... Froyo... not ginger :S

Did you try my advice anyway? I'm not sure it will help, but it is a temp fix for the build I've had the issue with.

EVO Shift 4G Not Downloading

Hey guys and gals,
I am asking this question for a friend of mine. I have searched the thread and could not find any results. Everytime she tries downloading an app from the market it is unsuccessful no matter what app it is. She has rebooted, toggled airplane mode. If there are any known fixes to this issues please help me help her. I really appreciate the help.
Thank You
Tom
Market not Downloading
Did you try to reset your Google talk account. I know on the Backflip that will fix it about a third to half of the time. Another thing to try is switching to air plaine mode and back. Those are things that have worked with Moto devices and seeing how they are all android I thought it would be worth a try.

Try going to settings, manage applications, then choose the market (under the heading "all") and clear data.

I have tried both of these methods and unfortunately neither of them have worked. My friend took the phone in and Sprint techs did some type of test on it and came back out with a brand new phone out of the box. She's only had the phone for about 2 weeks if that. So hopefully this one will treat her good. Thanks for the input and feedback it is greatly appreciated.

Signal disappears completely

I was just curious to see if anyone else was having this problem. I have searched and found no threads that were describing exactly what was happening to me. My signal just drops out completely and doesn't come back for a full 5 minutes sometimes. I'm pretty sure it's not the root doing it either, because it was happening before I rooted it. I figured the root would solve it, but it hasn't. If anyone has any ideas, please share. I'm going to try a different radio right now and I'll share with you the results, but ideas are still appreciated.

Definitely your radio. Flash the latest radio and see if that improves it.
Sent from my HoneySmartDroid Port using XDA Premium.
I tried a new radio yesterday, for pretty much all day. It didn't solve the problem, but I'm going to try all the radios I can. If anybody else has another suggestion besides radios let me know please.
Okay, sorry it took me so long to respond. I have tried almost all the radios and none of them have solved this problem. I know it's not a T-mobile issue either because I get great service at my house with every other phone except this one. It's looking like a hardware issue, but I was wondering if anybody had any input on it.

I would send it back to tmobile, tell them about it and send her back, you might want to remove soff though
Its not new and I didn't buy it from T-mobile. I guess I can try sending it back to HTC though. I did call them and see if it was still under the 1 year. Thankfully the previous owner didn't register it. It's now registered under my name and I have a backup phone, so I guess I will do that. The charger port is loose and needs to be fixed anyway. Thank you everyone for your input.

[Q] Can't hang up.

I can't hang up my phone, for some reason. If I call someone, and they don't answer, it goes to voicemail, and I can't hang up the phone. I tried pressing the red button, but the screen doesn't come on, and the only thing I can do after that is to pull the battery.
I'm using the ROM from this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953078
Firmware Revision Number: 2250.09.07491.HD2O
Radio Software Version: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
I don't know if this information is helpful, but I hope someone can help me out.
Thanks!
Hi!
Should be easy to fix Go to settings, brightness, turn off automatic adjustment, restart phone - done!
Please let me know how it goes!
/Anders
Hi
Thanks for the advice, but it didn't seem to work.
The call works and all, but the screen is still blank, and pressing the buttons does nothing. I also tried holding on to the buttons, but it still didn't work.
It should be noted, however, that the call actually does go through, and I can talk normally. If the other party hangs up, I get my functionality back.
Really weird.
*edit* I've also tried other ROMs, and this occurs on pdaimatejam's ROM as well. I changed to this one because I thought there was something wrong with the WP7 Tango. It worked for a while, and randomly stopped working on pdaimatejam's ROM.
Now that is really strange! Have you had problems like this using Android or WM?
/Anders
No, I haven't. It's not a hardware issue, if that's what you're thinking.
I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with WP7. I just don't know what. Hmm.. Maybe I'll go try flash Mango and see if the problem's still there.
I had that issue but with HD2Owner ROM's, but with Pdaimatejam ROM's (7.3 or 7.5) it seems solved. Try it.

I've tried Pdaimatejam's 7.5 and 7.8. Still didn't work. Hmm. Something's really weird about this.

No, I haven't. I just live with it for now. I don't call people until I'm sure they're going to answer. If they don't, well, lucky the phone boots up fast.
