I've noticed, that there are several threads about the Bluetooth communication of the magician. Therefor this one will be one of them.
I'm using TomTom Navigator 5 with Bluetooth GPS on my device. Also i have a bluetooth Handsfree kit from THB mounted in my car. Now, allt that i want is to here the output of the tomtom via my handsfree kit. But it didn't work. All sound is coming of the built in speaker.
If I get al call, the handsfree is working fine. So this is not a problem..... :-(
Anyone got a similar constelation and got a solution for me. I've already contacted TomTom and THB, and both told me to contact the manufactor of the magician. So i think that is a Bluetooth stck problem. I'm still using the default Bluetoot stack of the magician. Will any other help me to find a solution?
Th ROM I'm using is a german 1.12......

I´ve got the same solution (allmost) AS YOU - BUT THINK ABOUT IT....if the TT-voice came trough your bluetooth set, all the calls would be interupted every time you made a call, while driving with voicenavigation....so it has to be seperated in a loudspeaker and through your bluetooth solution headset etc....

For me that would be no problem, cause i have a fixed telephone in my car, that i can use for phone calls. ;-)
But the sound of the magician speaker is very low.
I´m loving loud music in my car, and then i won´t hear any instructions out of the Magician speaker.....

Okay!
But then you have to go to an mobilephone technician who can fix it so that your PDA can connect to the carstereo with af muting device ----- you get the music and it mutes when the navigationvoice comes on.
I know that it can be done, but it cost bucks....or Euros!
Or buy another bluetooth driver that supports MP3 se www.handago.com
then you can get the navigation and musik in the headset!
Hello.
After i install an BT Headset from an freend i can't make phone calls without this Headset. The Speaker of my XDA mini does not work by calling. Ringing and all other Audio funktions are O.K., but by calling the speaker is death. BT Handset or Handsfree calling are ok.
Any one a Idea how to solve this problem?
Hi Dark Angel,
Have you solved the problem? I have similar problem. Can you help?
Hello leszazous.
Yes, i have solved the problem...
Download and instal this BT Stack: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=33532
Reboot your PDA and be happy...
Hi Dark Angel,
Thanks for you info. I downloaded the BT Stack and installed it on my O2 Atom. Unfortunately, it crashed my Atom and forced me to hard reset my Atom.
But, the problem with the headset gone away!
Just gone thru the painful restoring process now. Though, the problem is solved anyway.
Hi leszazous
I'm so sorry to read, that your Data is going away...
Hi guys,
can somebody please help me with the following problem?
Out of nothing my T-Mobile MDA Vario stopped giving sound with out the headset connected. without any reason and the out of nothing it stops giving sound without the headset connected. this all happends after i installed tornado (a2dp) to get sound to my bluetooth headset. anyone knows whats gone wrong, i search the forums here but couldnt get no clear answers
I had a similar problem. No sound from the speakers at all, but through the headset it was fine. As if the speaker itself was dead. But it wasn't caused by any Bluetooth fault.
Effectively, the phone hadn't realised that the headset had been unplugged. To solve it I was told to rapidly pummel the headset jack with the headset plug. Somehow, after some time, the phone is jogged back into a working state.
then whats the point havina bluetooth headset if u have to carry ur handsfree to get ur fone ringing again normally aint there any better solutions to this
Good day Guys ..
I had bought used jamin from about month and it was working perfectly ..
but i hadn't the headset of it it was lost by the old owner ...
so i tryied a nokia headset (wired) and it was working propely ... But the mic was not it was using the mic of the i-mat ... anyway i was using the headset only for lestening to songs thats all ..
Today this nokia headset was pluged in in my jamin ... and i slept then when i wake up i unpluged it and try to make a call ... i didn't hear any thing and the one who i was talking to wasn't hearing me ( seems that mic wasn't working ) ... i tryied to use speaker it by pressing speaker on in the the phone touch screen but it wasn't working as if the head set still pluged in then i tryied to call through the headset i heard the man ... but he didn't hear me again ( mic also not working ) seems that there is a problem in the headset socket ...
- i had made soft and hard reset but doesn't work also ...
- When somebody call me ... the speaker works welll ... so there is no problem with speaker
any one can help me ??
really i need heeeeelp plss
it's a known problem for the prophet even with its original headset. There's a very small switch i think in the headset socket in prophet that was stuck in headset mode when you pulled out the headset plug. i think you can reach it with a small pin or something but it's not preferable. time to test your warranty i think
Pls tell where ... really i'm pissed . i can see that you are egyptien ... can you add on msn messenger .. [email protected]
Hey guys,
I've followed every single word written about playing music on a bluetooth headset (Not a Stereo one) , and unfortunately nothing worked ..
I'm really in a bad need for this .. So, I'd like to ask first .. did any body managed to do so ?? I tried a dozen of programs for rerouting aduio to the bluetooth headset but nothing worked .. is there any body here who managed to get this to work on JAM ??
If there is no body who did that .. I've got an idea .. Since the device by default direct the sound of the calls speaker to the bluetooth headset to allw you to make and recieve calls .. so , is there any body who knows a program that lets you choose what Audio output to use ?? I mean any program that allows you to listen to music or videos from the calls speaker not the loud speaker of the device ..
Hope any body could help ..
Why don't you just use a program like BlueTunes.
I haven't used it but its suppose to send music throught your BT headpiece or headset.
I have a motorola S9 (stereo BT) and a I-mate JAM (similar to Qtek s110), with a cab from this forum and wmplayer or mortplayer enhanced (also from this forum, it works fine, also tryed with a S100 and a HTC 3600 (this last one need no extra software).
