Can you sync bookmarks automatically like you can with an iPhone and MobileMe? Thanks

I'm hoping that eventually it'll sync bookmarks with Chrome, which already has a cloud-based bookmark sync.
If it does then the OP's question will be answered! Mac Chrome syncs bookmarks with Safari.
So to get this to work: Have Mac Chrome get bookmarks from Safari (I assume its not automatic as I add more bookmarks to Safari), then Chrome will sync those bookmarks to my Android device...? Thanks

No, Android currently has no bookmark sync with Chrome. But I guess someday it probably will.
I guess I misunderstood a post above then... Any way to sync Android and Mac Safari bookmarks?

Android does not do bookmark sync with anything yet but its said soon it will with chrome. There are some apps that try and sync things but don't know of a good one.
Also soon the mac to android sync package will support bookmarks but as of now it does not.
What "mac to android sync package?" Salling media? I think i heard that was the best one (and has iTunes playlist integration as well)

Hi all - got my HD2 three days ago and still tweaking bits and bobs as I see fit!
One of the things I haven't been able to work out is whether I can sync the calendar with my personally hosted .ICS calendar files? I host them on a personal FTP for shared use in Lightning/Thunderbird.
Is there any way at all of syncing them with my HD2? Whether it's a bit hacky and goes via Google Calendars or something else I don't really mind, as long as it works remotely.
Thanks in advance .
Argh, dropped off the first page already! Anyone?
i guess the google calendar is way to go. but it would be great if a XDA expert could post an a possible solution
I would like to see either HTC offer something to sync up to Yahoo calendar, or at least a third party app to sync up to Yahoo calendar myself!
Yahoo has now done away with the Yahoo GO! app, oddly enough only months after creating a "new" iphone App. Why does Yahoo always give Windows Mobile the finger?

Hi. I don't have a HD2, but in this period I am evaluating the purchase of a new WM smartphone, and I am searching info about my main requirements. One of them is just the sync with Outlook or (better) with Lighting/Thunderbird. Until now, I found that the best solution seems BirdieSync, http://www.birdiesync.com/features. Unfortunately it is not freeware, but it appears the most suitable for the task. I saw on the site that there is a full-functional demo, maybe you can try it.
Hope this helps.

"Can I sync with Live or Google Calendar?

Yes!
When you share your calendar with any user, that user will receive an email that will guide them through subscribing to your calendar.
Toward the bottom of that email, there will be a URL that looks like this:
ht[tp://calendar.yahoo.com/yahoo-id/XXXXXX/CalendarName.ics?id=001.
Anyone using a calendar that supports the iCalendar or .ics formats can use this URL to sync to your Yahoo! Calendar."

I thought that the stock browser was supposed to sync your bookmarks from your Google Account?
It only appears to sync bookmarks from the Transformer to your Google Account...
Or was I clearly NOT paying attention as usual?
What is the easiest way to get your bookmarks from Chrome into your stock browser on the TF?
Doesn't sync the chrome bookmarks, only your android bookmarks. I think there are apps that do though. I actually prefer it that way. There are a lore of bookmarks on my pc I don't need mobile.
Pacifik: just an FYI, you were incorrect, the stock browser does indeed sync w/ your Google Chrome bookmarks.

Google Bookmarks and Chrome Bookmarks are separate. Go figure.
If you want to sync your Google Bookmarks, try GoMarks from the market.
If your Chrome Bookmarks are not syncing, go to Application Manager, Force Stop the browser and clear it's data. Then start your browser and enable sync. Of course, sync has to be enabled on your desktop, too.
I think you might be incorrect.
I've set up bookmark sync and books that show up on the bookmark page on the transformer show upon the bookmark toolbar on my laptop.
The only thing I've noticed is the sync can lag a few minutes sometimes...
What am I doing wrong. I put the correct email address, but still shown about 10 a bookmarks. I have about 100 bookmarks so how to import them all?
You can use Chrome to phone to send links to your android device but I don't believed it will auto sync.
EDIT: NVM, I never knew it was an option to sync.

I know it sounds like the usual catch-all solution, but have you tried rebooting? I went through the wizard in the browser settings to set up chrome sync and it still took a while to pick up on all the bookmarks.. I rebooted and there they were. Don't know if the reboot helped or if it would have happened anyway........
My bookmarks synced up pretty quick, without needing to restart.
Make sure you have sync turned on with your desktop Chrome browser.
LOL, just now did the sync and it synced up pretty quick, no reboot needed.
I only have about 30 bookmarks but they all synced fine.
I deleted all the bookmarks, but how to update my bookmarks? I went into the accounts and the sync settings and I updated my Google Account. Sync Browser is selected.
What version are you all using???? (I'm on 3.1)
I don't even have that option in my Sync settings!!

But the Chrome browser that has the bookmarks you want to sync with (I assume your desktop browser)... Did you got into Options, Personal Stuff, and setup the Sync there?

sure there is, its in the stock web browser settings window.
On the desktop chrome (not your tablet) go to Tools (the spanner) > Options > Personal Stuff & Sync.
Awww I did a fun little screenshot but can't post it yet due to less than 8 posts.
Thanks all. Figured it out.
Hrm... trying to setup the sync com.google.process.gapps FCs whenever it tries to sync the browser. Persistent through reboots/etc.
Has anybody tried to use Google Chrome Bookmark synchronization from an Android device?
I've developed some sync Chrome extensions that uses bookmark sync to sync shared data, I'd like to sync them in the Android version too. Is there a way to read Chrome Bookmarks?
If it's not possible, what's the best way to sync a Chrome Extension with an Android app?
I noticed the stock browser doesnt sync with the Chrome bookmarks, is there something we are to do to get them to sync or is this the way it is? Thanks
