My Shiney New Vario...

... should hopefully be here on Tuesday.
So, before i get it, i have been looking here and downloading the stuff that i need to make it a better machine.
So far, i have found out how to overclock it and some reg. tweaks to make it better.
My question is, is there a better ROM that i should use instead of the t-mobile (uk) rom? I understand that there is currently an issue with pop mail or somthing? I would like to use that - so is there a ROM that has this already included?
Also - what software do you guys recomend that i get hold of for it? Its coming with co-pilot, so i dont need any GPS software (unless tomtom is better???) but any other software that you think might be helpfull...

Smatphone Music plugin

Hi guys....Is it possible to run the smartphone music homescreen plugin found on the Excalibur wm6 rom on to a PPC today screen?
Im sure ive seen it before..but cant seem to be able to find it

This is annoying - There is one in the Adaption Kit Samples which is part of the original base os OEMs get shipped... The thing is none of them seem to want to put it out...

Free media player for Leo?

Hi guys, forst of all id just like to say that without this site, id be completely lost as im new to win mo. So a big thx to xda-devs! I was just wondering which free media player is available for the leo which supports xvid,avi etc tried searching but cant seem to find any. Would really appreciate some info. Co Pilot 8 on HD2

I just bought Co Pilot 8 and installed it on my HD2. It only give me Europe maps....do anyone know where I can get the US maps and how to install them? If I can't then how do I get a refund on Microsoft Marketplace?
any Ideas???

did you bought CP8 on the official website? There you can choose which package you like to purchase. so you mabe just took the "wrong" one?

Yea, i bought CP8 off the website and chose the US maps version. Sounds like you need to get a refund and then go buy the correct version.

I choose the one off the Microsoft Marketplace site.....I thought I choose the right one....I did not order it from the official website...does anyone have the cab for the right one?

Best You go to Copilot´s website and mail Your request to the support. Expelaon in detail how You purchased Your version.
I had some issues in Dec. 2009 and they were very helpful although I used the special HTC-HD2-version of Copilot which does not have the same support as the "open" version.
For installing maps You don´t need a cab but only the map-files for the region of choice.
