One handed Dailing?

Is there anyway to dail the phone pad without using the stylus? Idealy, I would like to use the D pad to go from number to number.
Is there any program like this?

IMO... This is the only one available that fits the bill. Allows you to dial numbers using the D-PAD. A no nonsense program that does exactly what you want.

Consider E-ten skin
You may want to think about an E-ten skin for your dialer. This does not let you use the d-pad, but the buttons are rearranged so they are larger on the screen. I can easily dial with my fingers. Just another option...

Or my favorite, Voice Command. One button and you're done pressing.

Enabling Long Press in Dialer

Is there a way I can enable "Long-Press" of the action button to bring up the context menu for a highlighted contact in the dialer (smart dial enabled).
By default I can use the stylus to long press a contact in the dialer to bring up the context menu but I want to use the action button for true one handed operation. In the present state pressing the action button after highlighting a contact starts dialing the number.
Maybe something to be incorporated in the registry?? I am on the factory WM5 ROM for my Imate Jasjam

I think you could use VJKeyPress to emulate a context menu click, but you would have to assign it to another hardware key, and that would barely be worth the effort and would not be very neat or integrated. I don't think you can easily change the default behaviour of the HTC dialler plugin - I think you'd have to hack into the app itself, which would not be pretty.
But I may be wrong.

Any idea if the dialer application on WM6 has a similar behaviour.

dialer skin for htc p3400

I need native dialer skin ie dialer skin that comes with original htc WM6.1 for htc p3400. more over i need to change the left soft key option that comes in the dialer screen to point contacts whereas now it has been pointed to hide keypad

go to setting , button , change the soft key as you need
for dialer go for reset

[REQ] Large Dialer

Hi all, i used to use the Phonex dialer for its big number buttons on the dialer (ik takes about 80% of the screen) because of my big thumbs.
I would prefer a program that's just a dialer. Nothing more or less. Phonex comes with a contactmanager etc etc.
By the search function i did not find any simular dialer or skin for the diamond, that what i found was qvga. Can someone point me in the good direction? Is there a big dialer for the diamond (vga)?
