Hi, I connect my Diamond to car with bluetooth and work fine, but when i reconnect it, phone ask me every time pin code to pairing.
I thought this:
After pairing i must create a outgoing bluetooth port. But I'm not able to create it.
Maybe it's because I have last wm 6.5.3 (build 23518)
I dont have any other bluetooth device to try to connect and so i'm not sure if the problem is in the phone or in the car.
I ask You because it's frustrating connect, connect, connect and reconnct.
Thx to all.

Hi,
Some background:
I'm currently working on a carputer project. Everything is working wonderfully and right now I'm going through the final phase of having my HTC Universal (WM6) phone use the car speakers and microphone as headset.
On my computer I am running on Widcomm BT ver 5. The Universal phone is running the MS stack. I managed to pair and connect successfully with my WM6 device. The headset works very nicely both ways, but with a problem:
Whenever a phone call comes in the phone automatically answers the call without even asking me. It rings once then answers. This does not happen while not using a BT headset nor does it happen with my regular portable Samsung BT headset. My universal is set to never receive calls automatically on all profiles. I'm assuming the problem is in the Widcomm driver but there doesn't seem to be anything I can change in the software settings.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem? I obviously don't want every single call that comes in to get answered. I wouldn't even mind answering the call from the phone itself (and not from the PC) as long as the voice gets routed from the phone to the car stereo with the external mic.
Thanks!
Yaniv
Hello all,
I know that the NaviPanel can be configured to automatically connect to a bluetooth handsfree kit. I'm guessing this happens as soon as the panel is launched. However, what happens if the connection to the handsfree kit is lost while the NaviPanel is running? Does it attempt to reconnect or does it do nothing? Also, if the handsfree device also supports the audio streaming profile, I know that in the bluetooth settings you can set it up so that if you to connect to one profile, the other one is automatically connected. When the NaviPanel connects to a handsfree kit, does this setting also take effect?
Thanks

I have a problem wit the bleutooth reconnect with mmy car-kit (VW-RSAP)
Everything works fine, and connection works.
But:
if i get into the car, start it, the connection isn't comming up. What i have to do, is hit the top on/off button, and there it is... the connection is being established. If i'm getting out, shutdown the car, the phone is only trying once to reconnect to the network, and gives a antenna with !-mark. Then i have to go to comm-maneger, en shutdown phone, and reconnect phone.. Than everything is fine..
It looks like the phone is in a too deep sleep to accept the bleutooth connection.
Anyone having this problem, and knowing a work around?
Well I've got also a lot of trouble with my Audi rSAP adapter (Paragon) and the MMI: (Hmm, I'm not allowed to post outgoing links as a new member although I just wanted to post a link to my "SAP connection problem" thread showthread.php?t=720724)
Which profile is used if your HD Mini and the rSAP can establish a working connection? Is it SIM Access Profile or is it a Hands-free connection?
From Audi I learned that not only the rSAP-adapter has a built-in bluetooth interface but the MMI has another one (which is automatically deactivated when the rSAP cradle is installed)!
So when I removed my rSAP cradle, the MMI activated it's own bluetooth interface which can be connected from the HD Mini with Hands-free profile (needed to switch of the car and restart again - just like Windows :->).
The main difference to the Hands-free connection of the rSAP-adapter is that the MMI is able to read out the contacts stored on my HD Mini while the rSAP adapter cannot (in Hands-free mode).
So this is currently the only working option for me until I'll get the SAP connection working (HTC has received some logs from the BT-Handshaking so hopefully they can dig something out).
Cheers, Alf.
I am having a problem with my car's handsfree and automatic reconnection to my Nexus 4.
My car is paired (and when it is paired I select "Don't ask again" about access to the Address book). However when I return to the car, bluetooth on the phone does not automatically reconnect to the bluetooth handsfree in the car like it did with my previous two phones (SGS2 and SGS3).
I can go into bluetooth settings, and click on the handsfree device and it connects right away and works fine, but I really don't want to do that every time I get in my car.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you.
bump-- anyone?
I'm trying to connect bluetooth in my car's native bluetooth module. The connection works and everything is fine but when I try to reconnect....as in turn on my phone's bluetooth to reconnect to my car....a box pops up and ask me if I want to connect to my car's bluetooth...
Is there a way to bypass this? I simply just want to come into my car and the bluetooth automatically connects without asking me if I want to "Connect my device to my car's bluetooth."
