I've just flashed my SDA to WM6.1 v1.6 (thanks for that) and want to install the TomTom Software.
My problem: I can start TomTom one time and next time it freezes on the start screen. Can anyone help me?

I want to ask something!
I have Qtek 8020 (it's like SP3i) and it has wmp 9 on it.
I was wondering if i can have wmp 10 on my phone like
Audiovox SMT5600, dopod 565 and 575.
I' ve asked Qtek service in Greece and they said that they don't
know when they are going to release the firmware that has
wmp 10.
So, does anybody know if this is possible?
Maybe a hack on Qtek rom?

also Qtek 8020 is not a pda it's a smartphone they cant use programs compiled for pda's as they use a different type of cpu
There are no ROM tools that work with smartphone ROM images. So you cannot cook ROMs yourself.
Hi, i´ve got a trinity with the wm6 spanish cooked version. I´ve installed Citymaps and when i try to search or I try to make a route between two places, it automatically closes the program.
Does anyone have the same problem? I haven´t find anything in the forum.

Citymaps is a very old program- released in 2002, before TomTom Navigtor was released for the PPC.
Probably not compatible with WM5 or WM6 which is why it crashes.

Someone knows what is the best tom tom version for my mda vario? As it's an old mobile...I don't know if last tom tom works well on it...which version can you suggest to me?
Do you know where I can find instructions to install it?

I Have WM6(TNT5.0 rom) on my Mda Vario.
I have Tomtom 6.020 installed and works fine to me.
If you find where to get tomtom, you probibly also find installation instructions.
You dont have to do some kind of trick for tomtom 6 versions. its direct installable for WM5 and WM6.

I have a T-Mobile (German) SDA, wich I upgraded (thanks to all of you who posted here) to WM6. I also tried WM6.1. So far, both work perfectly, with one small problem:
The JOYSTICK.
It's impossible to use as it works right now:
Left is Down, Right is Up, and no othe function.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
The Original Typhoon has no Joystick, use the ROM for the Feeler and the Joystick works! I tested it on my german T-Mobile SDA with WM6.1 from ALEUT.

I just flashed the wonderful Syrius R0! But now I have trouble installing TomTom Navigator 6. The cabs are on the extended_rom of my german o2 rom. is there any way to get them out of the installer??? I need the files "MP_ttn.cab" and "MP_TT6_Voice02_GER.cab".
Can anyone help me??

It should be on the HTC application CD if you still have it. Not tried it myself yet but that's normally how I add it back onto the device after flashing a rom.

thanks for the hint. I got my phone from o2 in Germany. TT is not on that CD. But I already got the 2 cab files from a person that did a backup of his extended_rom ;-)
