Hi to all.
I have a T-Mobile (German) SDA, wich I upgraded (thanks to all of you who posted here) to WM6. I also tried WM6.1. So far, both work perfectly, with one small problem:
The JOYSTICK.
It's impossible to use as it works right now:
Left is Down, Right is Up, and no othe function.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
The Original Typhoon has no Joystick, use the ROM for the Feeler and the Joystick works! I tested it on my german T-Mobile SDA with WM6.1 from ALEUT.

Hey folks,
have an T-Mobile SDA Business (the black one) and I have to update the ROM (don't ask why), so I thought about updating it to the QTEK-ROM for the corresponding device without any branding as my T-Mobile has.
My question is: where can I find one and which is the HTC Codename for the device? Is it the HTC Typhoon? English or german ROM doesn't matter, because there's also an official T-Mobile ROM for later setting it back to german before I'll sell it (if ever). I think that even in the english Version I can switch the T9-language to German, right?
I also have an MDA Pro with QTEK ROM which works better than T-Mobile ROM for me.
I've searched the XDA-dev-FTP but didn't find anything.
Any information would be great.

The SDA Business is known as the HTC Feeler, but often known as a variant of the HTC Typhoon. The Typhoon and the Feeler use different keyboard drivers so you must be careful.
I'm afraid I don't know where the ROM is.

Thanks for the info about the HTC Feeler. Didn't knew that. I knew only the HTC Typhoon, found and installed that ROM and found out that 2 of my Keys didn't work the way they should ;-) Actually the didn't work at all.
So I flashed the new german T-Mobile ROM and have to use that one.
But actually I want to buy a QTEK 8310 but have to chek if I get my SDA Business repaired. The lower right key doesn't work anymore, but I didn't do anything. Hope the warranty catches up.

Thanks for the hint, but as I mentioned in the posting above, I flashed the QTEK, found out, that it didn't work how it should and flashed back the newest T-Mobile ROM in German.

So you're saying that you can't get the phone to ActiveSync with Windows? I'm having the same problem at the moment and I'm looking at whether it is possible to flash an image from a mini-SD card. If you find anything about this please do let me know.

I have attached the joystick keyboard driver for fixing the joystick failure about depod 575,585 etc.For Depod 565, no need this driver.
This driver is for the expert who can hack the Rom only, just replace the original driver with this new driver.

what are the minor problem
wow WM6 available for the Typhoon before the Tornado, thats incredible!!!
And it does actually work.

It will be working on my Sp3i?
It works on my sp3i, but the joystick is not mapped correctly and makes the navigation nearly impossible.

wm6 is fastest than wm 5? and how many mb of ram and rom is after installation? and test the battery if you have time... ok? sory for my English

yes, WM6 works well for typhoon except the joystick.If some experts could customize the ROM to make the ROM more suitable for typhoon, that will be great,as typhoon don't have much storage and RAM after installation.
WM5 was multilingual, is this WM6 have french in the languages ?

xPhoneII Joystick in't work.....
I've got a Orange SPVM3100 flashed with the official HTC WM6 Rom. I've got T-Mobile sim which has web&walk and MobileTV package. When I use the sim in a T-mobile branded N95 I am able to watch mobileTV Channels, but when I use the sim in the Hermes, I get device not supported when I try to load up a channel. I know MobileTV is supported on the Vario II (Hermes) so does this mean only the T-mobile rom will allow streaming TV as it detects the ROM.
Is there a registry setting etc I need to change on the HTC rom which will enable (trick it) so it will stream MobileTV.
Any advice?

Schaps 3.57a is a rom created by schaps, see the WM6 hermes section, so working fine with no T-mobile crap insite

doesnt work
have tried this on a tmobile vario II running duttys premium.
there is another thread on here with a file to download called browser.dll,
its been edited so, when installed, the tmobile wap site thinks the browser you are using is that of an n95.
I have tried this and it works!
I have just installed the HTC WM6 ROM and it is working fine, but my groupware client ist not working with WM6 so I need to downgrade to WM5.
Can anybody tell me, where I can find a WM5 ROM? I can not download it form teh HTC website, because it is a T-Mobile device and as far as I know, I can´t register with this serial number.

Your phone is a wizard?? (mda vario) then look in the windows mobile 6 section of the wizard forums.
There is a diamond rom for the wizard in there im sure.
Well, you do know that the Slim 4.0 ROM IS indeed a Diamond based ROM right? The other Diamond ones are not very different from it.
