I am stuck at booting screen on my htc magic, i just can't get to the Home screen. Can anyone help me? I tried (Press Home + Switch ON button) to use the recovery utility but always got an error called (E:Can't open/cache/recovery/command.
Hope anyone can advise me.

my phone didn't work when I turn it on it stuck on the "starting screen" and I can get into recovery (the screen that used only by the volume buttom and home key)

If you can go to recovery then restore previous backed up rom or Flash a new rom
OK, I managed to really really screw my phone up!!!
I installed a 4.4.2 rom (crDroid) and everything was working fine.... USB debugging on and rooted.
Next I started playing with LCD Density settings and managed to get get a device that won't show anything past the LG logo.... just a blank screen.
I have tried connect it to my computer and using adb to push a new build.prop to fix it, but I can't seem to get this thing recognized via adb anymore.... all I see is an "unauthorized" device and I can't see the screen (b/c it blank) to make any changes to actual device.
I am really really worried that I have completely borked this device.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
Another thing I should note.... I have tried many many times to boot directly into CWM (which I have installed version 6.0.4.4.). Unfortunately I think the LCD problem is killing me here.... I hold down the power+vol-down and then press them again when I hit the LG logo, but at this point the thing just goes blank.... I never actually see a CWM screen.
Again, thank in advance for your help... I am very very desperate and really have no idea what to do at this point.
OK, sorry for the freakout... I got this sorted out... it turns out I was following the wrong instructions on how to get into hardware reset mode.... for the vs980 you need to do the following...
1. press and hold power + vol-down
2. as soon as you see the LG Logo...
- release the power + vol-down buttons
- then immediately re-press only the power button
This should do it... some people were (I'm guessing for the other versions of the G2) were saying you needed to "re-press" both the power and the vol-down button and this was not working for me.

After updating my S5 to the laste software (15 may). Im having trouble root'ing my phone again.
When i try to put my phone into recovey mode I get a new screen then I use to get, when rooting. (see Attach File)
Im not sure what option to use. So if anyone plz can help, I be gretfull

you're doing it in wrong way bro, you have to switch to "download mode", not "recovery mode"
power off your device, then hold these 3 buttons at a time: power button + home button + down volume

Today I went to the Roma CloudyG3 to RomStock with LGMobile Tool. But when the phone switches on.I have the boot animation, then after that nothing, a black screen with error messages "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped." I can do nothing apart stop, restart and airplane mode. I can not access the menu to Hard Reset but I get to have the Download menu. So I can not activate the debug mode.
Can you help me please? I hope so a solution for my G2 :crying:.

I successful ! to enter Recovery Mode they change the key combination 4.4.2. volume up + volume down after logo appears instead of power + volume down!

Hi all,can somebody help me? I cant go into recovery 3 buttons not work,when I pushed home ,volume up a power notting happened.Sometimes phone go to download mod,sometimes to black screen.I tried refleash twrp,didn help.Thanks for help.
Are all three buttons working properly? Try go into Recovery using software and see if it works.
