Hi slvrbllt,
Just been to your site. Many thanks for the cycle bluetooth app, just what I was looking for.
I tried your Phone Profiles app and its good but unfortunately conflicts with my Qtek firmwares flight mode - it's a long story.
Anyway I'm trying to remove the app but finding it a little difficult. It keeps saying that /windows/profiler.dll is open or read only even after a soft reset. Any ideas how I can remove the app? It suggests doing a stop all but no apps are listed there.
Thank you,
hi slvrbllt!! Can we assign only a vibration for the new SMS without ringing (for a silent profile for example with a vibration for the ring)? Thanks for this great update!bye

Have you tried DKToday? It's a great BT cycler & more.
@slvrbllt,
Very nice app. you can expect Dutch translations soon. Only thing I like as an improvement is small buttons to quick pick a profile or a possibility to put it in the tray.
Cheers, M
Hmm, looks Good...

Thanks, I gave it a try but it has problems with flightmode also (note. these problems seem to be due to a particular Qtek firmware). I think I'll stick with radiooff and CicleBT. Thanks for the info though.
I've downloaded and installed the software, it look good !!
But when I get an incomming call the callerid popup appears followed by a short beep, not the ringtone I setup in the profile... What am I doing wrong ??
Regards,
Dennis :?
I installed it on my Dopod 818 Pro and it was working fine. However I noticed that the ringtone I assign for any profile is disregarded! It always plays the default ringtone.
So I had to remove it
[Posted to wrong thread]
I can't even install it... I just have this cab(?) file called Winmobileapps_PhoneProfiles.zip but what do I do with it? If I unzip it to my home pc, three files come out from it but none of them is an installation file (.exe)
-John
Try this link http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=15580 then
Yeah, but the specific thing here is; Where do I put the CAB file on my device - which directory??? As you can see I don't know ANYTHING about Win CE
-John
Hi John,
you'll get used to it. I suggest you put the .cab on your SD-card, either via Act.Sync, a card reader or direct download with Pocket Internet Explorer (PIE). Then click it from within File Explorer to install. I've installed it to my storage folder (not the default location) & it runs well.
Another suggestion: get caninstl (google for it), then you can choose where to install cab-files far more easily & it got an option not to delete the cab after finishing the installation.
Regards, M
Nice work slvrbllt, everything that was missing in your first post in now in it. You made me happy hehe
V1.2.0 is out!
Question for Silver Bullet: I saw there is a new feature: Hi-Res icons added.
What is exactly the feature is (I haven't install v1.2.0 yet)?
Thanks!
Regards,
Arto.
@artosoft
Hi-res Icons are for VGA devices only... ;-)
Thanks for your appreciations.
is it possible to set a vibration to an incoming SMS without a ringtone?thanks
Hi slvrbllt, i have tried your other app Flightmode on my BA WM5 and it works great. I have a question on Phone Profiles; would it be possible to add control over the backlight and power save options? This would be helpful to create a profile for "Car" for instance where i need the backlight on and power save disabled for my GPS and would be easier to setup a profile to do this.
Thanks for your applications and hard work.
Has anyone seen/tried this? It looks very similar to pocketcm keyboard, only suretype style...
http://www.cootek.com/index.html
It's a free download until Dec 8th, 2008...
Cool stuff
This is indeed a great soft keyboard. I found the following reviews around this product, pretty amazing:
http://www.maxartonline.com/
http://www.wmexperts.com/articles/software/great_new_soft_keyboard.html
I can't get this to work.. Like some other keyboard, I suspect this could be due to the Chinese software / input method I've installed on my Trinity.
Can anyone with Asia ROM (with CE Star installed) confirm this?
So so sad...
[Edit] Ha!! ya, got it to work.. need to softreset after installation. Fantastic piece of application!!
[Edit 2] Ha!! You can drag the keypad and move them to your prefered position, e.g. spacing in the centre!!!
I think it just 'white-screened' my phone.
damnit. I tried to set it as a default input and now I may have to hard reset.

Seems you have to switch to TouchPal manually They didn't make it to be default IME in this version.
It works perfectly on my HTC Touch. So coooooooool stuff...
I really love word assoication feature...
Did you have to uninstall any other SIPs first? I had a couple other ones, including phonepad. I actually wasn't able to select it from the input selector, which is why I tried to make it the default.

Just paste the following to another thread:
Did you soft-reset your device? And it is possible that TouchPal is incompatible with some other non-default soft keyboards. My friend got TouchPal work after uninstalling a Chinese keyboard and reinstall TouchPal->Soft-Reset. He decided not to go back to other keyboard, even decide to give up hardware keyboard.
Hmmm. My device is now reset, and I have restored it to it's previous settings. I uninstalled tengo keyboard, and am now disabling spb fullscreen keyboard and phonepad.
Currently, TouchPal shows up in my SIP list, but I just can't select it still.
Update: still not working after disabling all other input methods besides the standard keyboard. will have to try something else...or give up...

do you have password setup for your device? if not, it is worthy of trying setup a password for your device. someone fixed this issue by this approach.
Nope. Dead end. I'm actually running BBConnect, so there's an override of the windows password with the new BBSecurity. It actually crashed my phone again. I'm restoring back to normal and throwing in the towel for tonight.
Thanks for your help anyways!

Hi
Did you soft reset after installing TouchPal? When I first install, I can't select it as well. After uninstalling it, I reinstall again and did a soft reset. And now it works well.

don't work on my p3600. when i try to select touchpal as a imput it set to normal keyboard. i soft reset , uninstall , reinstall , nothing... it don't work to me... any solution?
i have a trinity. i definitely tried the uninstall and soft reset but it didnt work. it's really strange since tengo, phonepad and fingertouch all installed no problem!
It's really wierd.. How come for some no prob, for the others failed??
did you guys try the stuff in the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=271008
Not sure it works or not
Although I can select TouchPal after my installation, this morning I also experienced bring it back on (cos I select Phonepad after my last reset). I have experience difficulty in the SMS. So what I did is went to Contact and select TouchPal there, and managed to get it working. Then when I went back to SMS, TouchPal is still working there. Try it see whether this works for you guys.
Hmm...that's an interesting tactic. When I think back, I remember actually having to set the other SIPs as the default first to get it working.
Do you have G4 SIP Hide on your trinity? I needed to install it to make Phonepad work, and wonder if that could be causing an issue with Touchpal (not likely, but who knows...)

How about with pocketCM?
Anyone having any luck sending sms with pocketCM? I got the SIP input to work but cannot "send" from pocketCM.
Very nice SIP though...
I've posted this before but received no help, so I'm trying it again. I'm trying to install a third-party SIP on my device to replace the default Keyboard, but every time I choose it the device goes right back to Keyboard instead. I can switch to the other default SIP that came with the device, but not to the third-party one.
I have a Cingular 8125 running Molski AKU3.3

I already have PCM Keyboard installed (that's the third-party SIP I'm trying to use) but I didn't have the SIPChange installed before. However, I still can't get it to switch. Even using SIPChange, the default goes back to Keyboard every time. Do I have a registry problem of some sort?
So I found this link http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=WM5_Tweaks_Other and started playing around with the registry .. and I messed it up. I managed to switch the default SIP, but when I tried a different one my device will not boot up anymore. It's stuck on a white screen and won't go any further. Anyone know how to fix this?
EDIT: Well, I went ahead and wiped off the phone and now I have a fresh ROM on my hands. I lost a lot of info, but I'm happy my phone works again. So after the restore, the SIPChanger worked .. and now all is good.

May I know what you did after installing the WM client?
Can you use it from the HTC Sense Dialer?
thanks
Yep, you can use it from the sense dialer.
You've to activate "internet calls" in "Settings > Personal > Phone" on the "internet" tab.
Then when you're connected to a WLAN, you can see in the dialer the name of the VoIP service you use.
So, when you make a call, it automatically use the SIP account defined in WM settings!
In fact, on my HD2, it works well, but the sound comes from the external speaker... that's a shame!
And I even tried to install audioroute, but then the volume is too low.
So, if you find a solution to this problem, this would be really nice to share it!
Good luck!

I don't know what the problem is. I had originally downloaded Audioreoute just in case as I expected the speaker problem from reading the threads... but no issue for me. I tried installing audioroute anyways and it had no effect.
Maybe another program getting in the way? I had mine set-up on a completely fresh install with no other apps.
Do you have the same problem using PortSIP? That worked for me pretty well also but doesn't handle incoming calls properly when the device is in standby.

Really the only way to check is to turn off Sense UI in the today screen options and check off the internet calling today item. Then from the home screen you can see the status of your internet phone connection.
Other option is to install something like second today with the same item checked so you can switch to that to monitor it.

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to print or send to an excel file the list of calls made or received?
Another thing, is there a way to control the time of ONLY calls that you've made? If I go to the calls counting (in Portuguese "Contadores de Chamadas") I have the registry of ALL calls made and received. I can't control the time that I've spent where I've started the call (that can be very useful if you have minutes to spend), I only know the time spent on the phone.
Thanks in advance
I am also looking for a way

It's strange... I've download it and installed it, but the program doesn’t appear anywhere!
I’ve searched on all programs but nothing…
And I’m sure it’s installed because it appears on the “uninstall programs” as HudsonMobile PhoneDashboard.
Any suggestions?
Did you the following ?
As far as I remember, it was necessary to make a softreset on this program after installation.
Otherwise it's depending on your user interface, what you need to do.
For sure you can find the program either in the directory "programs" or a localized name e.g.
in german "Programme"
and a link in the following directory "windows/autostart".
If its not there, you need to make a link to there.
Regards
cimber

Cause to view it you need to disable TouchFLO and turn on Phone Dashboard.(settings/today/Items)
Phone Dashboard is a plugin "naked" today screen.
Unless you use an alternative overlay interface f.ex.SPB MShell-then simply tap the "show today".
Alternative:ShellSwitcher http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=675903

First I install the Phone.Dashboard.Minute.Tracker, then when I need to use it I have to change from TouchFlo to Phone Dashboard?
