i tab on the play button and the player starts from the first song and skips all songs and stops at the last song. If i activate "repeat all" the process is continue endless
i've deleted my playlist and try to make a new, but the problem ist still present.
the problem is also present on the touch pro

has someone else this problem? or a fix?

Perhaps you need to let it update your library? It might be because the songs have moved...something along those lines I would guess...

One other thing to try is Format the SD card and then re-sync your entire library. It's a pain but can work.

No my song are at the same place on my storage card.
yesterday I#ve installed
6/12 -09 Touch X Permanently Delete Reappearing HTC Icons.cab -Permanently Delete Reappearing HTC Icons from Start Menu
but this tweak doesnt work. the icons are still present.
i try to re sync the storage card

I've formated the card... same problem

Have you guys considered upgrading with a cooked Rom? Now you can ...<<HERE>>

Of course, but I#m waiting for a german 23xxx ROM
:/
yesterday BEFORE i installed the cab everything was fine
and i've already uninstalled it... without changes

Hi,
Did you by any chance delete your Volatile folder ? (should be located in \My Device\Application Data\) I've had what appears to be the same problem you are suffering, when I got a little too enthousiastic 'cleaning' my phone... If the folder is missing, try adding it
Regards,
Rolf

Yes I have
should i only create a folder named Volatile ? without any files in it ?
//EDIT:
Wow it works!
now everthing is fine.
great thanks @ Rolf D

Glad that worked out for you

Hi There,
I have the same problem. The only solution seems to be to delete the MSMETADATA folder from the storage card and add the tracks again. I can't find any other way of fixing it.
Hope this helps
that worked, thanks for the quick response! so this may happen again? odd glitch if you ask me...

Yip, This seems to be the standard way of dealing with this at present. For those that need a little more info:
Use native file explorer set it to show all files (hidden files) or use other file explorer to view hidden files,
Browse storage, delete hidden folder MSMETADATA,.
Update Library in WMP

I've used that fix a number of times but now it doesn't work...
I've now flashed a new Rom Schaps 4.3 and formatted my SD Card. Still no luck!!!! Argggghhhh....
The card shows up in the camera app as well as file explorer, however both media players don't recognise it.....
Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.....
Thanks

Did the problem occur immediately after flashing the Schaps Rom?
If it did then you may get more help asking in the Schaps 4.3 thread as it may be a Schaps registry setting or a change being loaded by a program in that ROM.

Ok....just sorted it out.....But to answer your question, it happened before I loaded Schap's 4.3, I was using TNT....Now...here's how it was sorted.
Normally I don't sync with Windows Media Player, I just copy the files over onto the SD card using a USB adapter (which incidentally sometimes screws up my media player and that's when I delete METADATA, but it's far quicker than copying through the phone)...The problem fixed itself when I ticked the button to sync media player...it rewrote another METADATA and I can now see the card once more......
Have a great day

HTC Audio Manager 2.2 closes after startup

Hi, I installed the Onyx build of windows mobile 6.5 on my Elf and so far it works fine. But after I deleted some songs on my storage card the HTC audio manager closes after startup. For one second I can see the user interface and then it closes without any error message :-(
Has anyone an idea where I can check for an error message or how I can fix this? I already tried to remove the HTC Audio Manager Settings in the AppData folder. The folder is recreated with all files, but the error is still there.
Thanks!
Hi
First there's a whole thread for Onyx http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426540 where you can search for answers. I just took this from the faq:
Q. Audio Manager shuts down whenever I try to open it.
A. Delete the songs or format the card and copy the songs back.
Q. Audio Manager or other program shuts down instead of minimizing when I close it.
A. Click on the Task Manager on top right, go to its options to change the X button property.
Good luck
Thanks, formatting the storage card an recopy the music again solved the problem. I think there were some corrupted metadata responsible for this. Even if I metioned it, i didn't expect this to be an Onyx thing, so thank you very much for the hint to the FAQ!
Problem solved!

Music player keeps stopping

Just today i went to listen to some music and after a few seconds the music just stops, initially i thought it was because i had it on shuffle once or something but i didn't change any settings at all, everything looks to be ok and everything else is working as normal, the only thing i can think of is that i downloaded MemMaid quick clean but i didnt delete anything i shouldn't so cant think why this is happeening as it was working ok yesterday!
My phone was flashed with Laurentius Ultimate Power WWE ROM and is stable..
Anyone any ideas?
Same problem here. I don't use MemMaid, so the problem must be somwhere else.
I use Miri Xtralight ROM.
I had that problem a while back. A hard reset sorted it out, i think it was something i installed..not sure what
Soloution !!
I had the same problem and I contact the them and here what they said , and worked :
If you are facing problems with your audio player, I may suggest that you do a hard reset and and then install the update. Please backup your information before doing a hard reset as this will delete all personal data. Also please try the following suggestions regarding how the music is stored on your SD card. Please try this option – Make sure that all the mp3/songs on your device are in one folder and this folder should be placed on the ‘root’ of the SD card(so when you double click or tap on the SD card you should be able to see the Music folder straight away). You may more than one folder on the sd card say Music1, Music2… and each folder not exceeding 200 mp3/songs. Also please download the User guide if you haven’t already done so for your device from the HTC website for some useful information. I trust that this resolves your query, please do not hesitate to contact us again if required. Thank you for contacting HTC
