I am trying to map my nas drive to my hd2.. Following other treads you have to load a Cab file

Ok dwn loaded to my pc , what do I do now I have loaded it into the HD2, and is on my storage card.
how do I run this file ..
and then what do I do.

Hi @ all,
since a few days most of my memory card directories disapperaed. There are only the My Documents folder (which is empty, too) and a TEMP folder I created left on the card.
Although I searched for some threads like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=294324 all attempts failed.
The space on the card is still occupied and when re-installing programms a new Program directory is created with the same name as the dissapeared one. I have one program when the installer claimed to remove the previous version first before re-installation. So it seems to find something (but I assume in Windows directory or registry).
How will I get the dissappeared folders back? Is there any other chance than formating the SD card and re-installing all programs?
I'm using bepe's cooked German WM6 V0.96 (the last one) and a 2 GB miniSD-Card. It worked quite well since a year now...

... y lo cagaste, me temo.
trinity, for some reason, spoils the FAT and reestablishes it with new data. the FAT is like a directory of "where to find what on disk".
as yout fat doesn't work properly, especially it doesn't show off the used sectors or clusters, all new storage will overwrite and destroy this way part of your old data.
so if this happens, remove inmediately the sd-card, put it into your PC card reader and pass it trough file appropiate rescue programs and you'll mostly find almoust all files.
so take a breath, download file rescue pgm's to your PC (some work better, others have many options, others ...) and have a try.
after the rescue, format the SD in your PC.
mine is just passing the rescue :-( and it's rescueing about 1600 files yet

I have look through every site here, but cant seem to find the solution to this? I have a couple of .cab files on my computer, and I'm not sure where to put them into my HD2. Which map/fil directory should I transfer these files to ?
copy them to the storage card, and click on them on your phone.
During installation you will get the questions to install in phone or memory card. In most cases choose memorycard.
Nice, so I dont make any new folders, just load them into the card?

hi mate where all a beginner some day, yep ur solution is copy to phone storage, and then install by selecting the .cab on ur phone it will ask you where u want to install to

just put igo8 folder on root memory of the Mega.
I sys.txt don't put any line for [folder]
add this line:
[power]
backlight_events=3
Put only one map in memory. If u need all the rest, use a card with /igo8/content/map folders
I found today that XDE creates VHD file located here C:\Users\a.sorokoletov\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XDE which is named {GUID}NandFlash.vhd

For microsoft virtual machine... Its virtual hard drive, like your physical harddrive in PC...

If it's in VPC format indeed, you should be able to mount it and access files inside, using, for example: http://www.freewarefree.net/utility/5888/vhd-attach-150/

Im running wp7 by nand/magldr 1.12.
There is a "fake"/emulated SPL (wp7 with sd-card) and Cotulla points out that sd cards are formatted with 2 partitions: one in UNKNOWN format: that it RAIDs it with RAM!!! Could this be connecte to VHD?
You can access new wp7 spl after magldr 1234-5-6. boot. press vol down around 4 or 5 before go go go.
Hi all, I have seen ths problem cropping up and now it has happened to my little old DHD. I did nothing specific to start this error. I have popped my sd card in an adapter the tried to browse some files via my PC, the only folded which it cannot read due to being corrupt is a folder called Android.
Is there any solutions or will I need a format?

Use disk kontrol
In explorer right click on the memory card and select properties.
Under the second tab choose the first button.
Make sure that the first box is selected.
Click start and let it run.
When it's finished, the memory card should be working again.
