Please make sure that you have Hard SPL stated on the tri-colour bootloader.
Steps:
• download a rom of choice
• plug device into PC and it should go from Serial to USB at the bottom
• and use the RUU_exe to begin process
• do a hard reset
• done
i've the same problem!
but this didn't help bexause i couldn't start bootloader! any ideas how to force bootloader?

This is my first post over here >>> Actully i have a problem with the athena i tried to unlouck it using X7500 Unlocker but i faced a really difficult problem. i am getting a black screen only no boot , no hard reset and no USB connection. I tried my best to breing it back up but i couldn't. Plz i need your help to solve this problem.

I tried all the wiki instruction but actully i am not getting the boot screen at all only black screen no more at all

Same happened to one of our units here.
Needed a trip to the service. ALWAYS take out SIM card and miniSD card out when flashing, they're known to cause random f***ups.

sorry about my english i have the same problem when i press camera key +power +rest i dont have any action and i try the camera +slid volum key down and i try camera + voice key and i try all key but i dont hav any action all this whitout sim and minisd just black sacreen help me plz plz plz
I have interest problem. After step 2 of unlocking i get the black screen. After I have followed of instructions. When I try to flash the ROM, i see: "Error [302]: Update error"
I have no SIM or card inside. I tried with 3 different ROM flash my f***ed device. Nothing helps. May be anyone of u can help me?

What state is your Athena in ? Bootloader accessible, black screen, what exactly ?

i had similar problem but before any one can help you u have to tell us in what state exactly your device is and try to get it in to bootloader before we can help first thing is you want to check in bootloader is that if your device is hard spl (if yes then you can flash it with any rom)
the eiset way to do it is Rename the .NBH file to ATHEIMG.nbh and copy it to your miniSD card. Press camera+com manager+soft reset to bootloader and wait for reading ATHEIMG.nbh from SD. Remember, the miniSD card must be formatted with a FAT32 filesystem before copying the file ATHEIMG.nbh to your miniSD.
u can use any (athena rom ) as long as it is hard spl other wise if not sure or any doubt use your ship rom (nbh file)

i also got one 7500 for repair, client told me while CID unlocking communications breaks and AMEO is DEAD.
Does not go into BOOT-LOADER mode,
Computer not detects it,
No responce to charger, no ring
Battery is charged with 3.77vDC
Red ring comes for a sec only try to RESET the device with Charger connected
Red ring also visible as long as Battery is not in the Phone and Charger is connected.
IS THERE ANY HOPE TO REVIVE IT

Hi,
i installed that new Rom for my htc p3600, and it worked fine.. some minutes after that the screen went black.. i made a softrestart from that small button with the styles.. the trinity started, but stopped on the screen with : smart mobility... that black screen after the moving HTC logo... and nothing happend...
it is just stuck there..
after many restarts i thought i would re install the rom, but the pc can't see the device any more... the redlighted led is on when i plug the device to the pc, but still nothing happening..
the device is just stuck... doesn't go in to the system,, doesn't accept new instalation from the pc...
and all my work is stopped...
i have backup for my data, but i need to use my device.. please please.. help help help.. very fast..........

Boot loader
i think may be it will help you if you get in BootLoader Mode ( by pressing the Camera Button and the Off Button )
then during the device in the boot loader mode try to connect it to your PC and try to flash another rom

Can't start my elf0100 (HTC Touch)
I can see smart mobility, that's all.
I tried to unlock it with an other article here.
(ELF-USPL - after that the device is down)
So i tried to flash some different ROMs on it, but nothing changed.
Any idea? - Maybe SPL ROM zone gone?
I searched a little bit in the forum, but i don't find a solution - too many answers - nothing helps (Hard-Reset, Softreset, Flashing...)

NOW THE PROBLEM IS...
1. MY DEVICE BUTTONS(HARD KEYS) NOT WORKING BUT I CAN MAKE THE DEVICE IN BOOTLOADER (TRICOLOR) MODE BY PRESSING CAMERA + POWER BUTTON.
2. AFTER INSTALLING A ROM WHENEVER MY DEVICE STARTS IT SHOWS THE HARD RESET SCREEN (BLACK SCREEN........... ALL THE DATA ...BLAH BLAB......)

hi
if u can get ur tricolor screen then try this
connect the usb cable to pc and see if u get the USB words on the phone tricolor screen if so good try flashing any official ROM the same happened to my phone long back did the above got my phone back asuming u have done HSPL for ur phone if u have not done that then the only way is to take it to service

Wrong forum.. Touch P3450 is not a touch 3g , its the original touch (ELF version)
but i will try and help as i have owned both.
if your hardware buttons are not working it could be possible that your send and end keys are stuck down as this key combo brings up the hard reset you are talking about.
think you are going to have to open it as it sounds like a hardware fault, and if you cannot get into bootloader you cannot flash
if it was working alright before this is not the case, but either way you will have to fix your camera button and get into bootloader

My HTC Universal is almost dead
I had Tomal v12 ROM, tried to install Almost2 ROM, but it stuck on Splash screen , after reflashing several other ROMs problem remained there. also tried MTTY app and enter to bootload and flushed Tomal rom again.
bottom result. now i can't see any thing on my screen , even i cant enter to BootLoader screen by pressing keys.
Screen is totaly black at moment and usb connected to it does not recoginize it as valid device.
Please help me how to come out from this.. and get back my device back working.
how can i enter to bootloader from sd card.?
any help would be appericiated.
