Hi can anyone help me i have tried to install iphone today on my phone after installing the software and trying to run it i get the message an unexpected error has occured with shell32.exe i cannot get this proram woring on my phone. Is there any other iphone screens which i could install on my phone.

Try to use the MaUpgradeUt_noID tool. I use it and never have country ID problem.

It's similar but I had it during the update of 171WWE to Chniese ROM.
I used MaUpgradeUt_noID tool and had added '[CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1' in RUU.conf before I excuted it, however when I run the program it also gave me 'countryID error' message.
can anyone help? i was trying to update the software on my m500 when halfway through it came up with an error message saying it was the wrong country, i then tried to run the file that overcomes this but it will not run it comes up with Ruu.dll cannot be found.
Since then i get an error message saying no gsm when the phone reboots and am unable to use most of the programs

You need to download from the file MaUpgradeUT_noID.exe from the ftp. There are several threads in the Magician Upgrading forum with tutorials.
On my QTEK I cannot get avantgo installed. Tried all different installation options (via active sync, cab install, OTA, main memory or on storage card) and all hints I could find like softreset before installation. Always the error message "Installation fehlgeschlagen" means "installation not successfull". It always stops at the very beginning of the installation process, when just the first square of the progress bar is visable.
It is not an upgrade problem as alrady the initial installation failed - I never succeeded to install avantgo. But maybe the former installations have left over something uncompleted which a new fresh installation after soft resets cannot recreate. Installation with WM2003 was much much better but this is common sense anyway.
Can anybody tell me what type of type of installation commands take place when installing the avantgo cab to find out waht was left over on my PPC? Or des anybody have similiar problems (haven't found any in the forum).

I have attempted to install various versions, all of which fail.

- pocketfitaly } 5`02_classic_wm5and6.cab
- Fitaly 5`0.ARMV4I.cab
- Fitaly 4`0.ARMV4 } MW'03.CAB
However, a very old version did succeed to install. However, that program is not formatted for the larger
Screen resolution on Windows Mobile 6.5.
- Fitaly.ARMV4 } 3`5 MW'03.cab
The error message is:
“Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions.”
I have attempted in vain to resolve the error message by first installing the following program, then reattempting an installation of Fitaly. But that failed also - I still get the same error message.
- AppUnlock.cab
- Has anyone succeeded in install Fitaly on WinMo 6.5?
- Does anyone have a workaround to the above error message?

have you tried wvga fix?? it makes the resolution of the screen smaller(qvga,vga)
. it works well,i tried it older programs i use to have on my mogul with no problems..a quick search in the forum and you will find it.
i also believe you need sdkcerts. that is why you are getting the “Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions.”...try it and just pm me if you need help.. i will help best that i can..

i had hard reset and then i have problem with screen alignment
i download Remote Screen Alignment
and i putt skip button and i have this problem "An error occured trying to perform the operation"
then i read somthing other!
i rad to download MobileRegistryEditor then get in regystry and get in CalibrationData and put one other code and then
get in PPc windows file and delete welcome.exe!
i do all this in regystry but i can't delete welcome.exe file!
pleaz help me!
