Sound lag problem - HD2 General

Does anyone have this:
(I hope I can describe this in English)
When a notification sound is played there is a big lag.
For instance when resetting you hear the default notification sound (if you checked sounds for system events anyway) I only hear half the sound.
This also happens in my satnav program (sygic).
I hear: ...ter 50 meters, etc
Instead of: after 50 meters
Just did a hard reset, but the problem persists
rom: 1.48 NLD

I have official russian HD2 with 1.48 FW. The same problem with bluetooth headset (Jabra BT530 with A2DP profile) - if i switch off it, no sound lag from builtin speaker comes.
I've just spent 2 days trying to understand WIDCOMM registry tree, but nothing. Seems, bluetooth in HD2 swithing off itself after small period of time - on new sound event it is powering up and connecting to my headset. Some part of sound, as described above, is lost. Navi soft cant be used this way at all.

Audio comes out from both wired headset and speakers

Hi,
I've recently started using my cing8125 to play music and I have a very odd issue that I can't seem to lick.
When I play music and try to plug in a regular wired headset (like the one that came with the device), I got audio out of both the speakers on the side of the unit and the headset. Adjusting the volume on the device adjusts the volume in both the speakers and headset.
I do not believe it to be a hardware issue as I'm running the popular aku3.3 rom, and I recently flashed a friend's MDA to the same firmware and he is having the same problem.
Any ideas on how to get it to turn off the speakers when I have a headset plugged in? Shouldn't this be the default behavior?
IF you are running Faria WM 5 3.3 try this.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...name=faria_3_3
You will find the fix there.
Thanks so much for that! I knew I had read something about a fix earlier, but I couldn't remember where.
For people who are finding this thread in the futurem the fix is the following:
Q- After receiving a call music from player and sound from calls it played from internal speaker even with headphones inserted.
A- set HKCU\Control Panel\Soundcategories\Ring\Speaker to 0

Bugs

Should i post this in a special bug threads?
anyway i noticed some bugs with HTC HD
1. Once Blackstone could not detect any music on device
conecting it to pc showed music was there
Fix: a reboot fixed it
2: Clock sometimes the clock touch flo change into just a normal digital clock
maybe this is memory related ?
Fix: a Reboot fixed it
3. Bluetooth conecting between 2 headset is complicated
i have a headset with mic for handsfree phone and a stereo one for music
i keep switching on the road depening what i use
problem is if i kept using Phone handsfree headset and then disconect it and atempt to conect stereo music headphones with bluetooth made it only work with phonecalls not music
Fix: after like 3-4 reboots , conect/disconect pair/unpair the stereobluetooth
i finaly got up the "enter code" input again and after this the music started playing through the bluetooth headphones again
It seem the HTC HD gives certain problems when swapping between bluetooth device.
This is the bugs i found so far
i am sure this most be bugs but i need to keep using it to confirm it
except of this HTC blackstone HD is a great device
but not so good if having to switch often between several bluetooht headsets.
the clock is big by default, but when you wipe over it (upwards), it turns to a small digital one. I also noticed that with alot of appointments on the homescreen the clock sometimes turns into the small one automatically.
I don't know if it's an issue with my touch HD but when I flashed to any rom (stock or cooked) past 1.14.40x, it seems I lose choices on band frequencies and EDGE goes slow as heck. Can anyone confirm if they have the same "issue"? i.e. before I had say 850/900/1800/1900 but now I have only 900/1800/2100. If it helps, I'm using AT&T.
Another issue/bue, Once again don't know if it's just an issue with mine but after 2-3 days of getting the HD, I've been having random drop/dead calls and connections. Soft reset helps the issue a bit but it's annoying to not have the phone well, do what it's suppose to =/ (thus why I'm trying to flash to a custom rom to see if I get any improvements)

Headset audio problem

Hiya, my wifes Atom has developed a problem with the output through the headset.
While listening to MP3's it's filtering out bass (well the effect is like its turning all songs into Karaoke the low voices disappear!).
Using the phone speakers the audio is fine.
Pushing the headphones in slowly, with no clicks you can hear reasonable audio in both earphones but quietly - low levels are audible.
First and second click, one ear piece audio, with distortion.
In all the way - both ear pieces give audio at full volume but without the bass and some distortion.
So, things I've tried so far. Different headset, same prob. Adapter and normal earphones, same prob. Installed different audio software (tried mort and gsp), same prob. Enabling and disabling the equaliser. Adjusting the volume, same. Soft reset, same. Restore to previous backup, same. Hard reset, same. Opened it up and checked all plugs, and cleaned the headset socket with some isopropyl, same problem.
Anything else I can try? The service centre for these things is on the other side of the country and this is her only phone/media player (it would take minimum 2 weeks an a stack of dough for a service repair).
Firstly, you could provide us with a bit more information on the handset itself? say....
Model and ROM?
Also what kind of handsets you are using?
The stock wired headset? or a third party headset?
name of the media player?
Hi, i ve have the same problem since yesterday , maybe i used some shortcut keys - had a lot of windows opened, now i canot hear people talking in a movie or mp3 - karaoke efect, if i push headpshones out just a little bit the sound is almost normal. I have this problem on my laptop and am using USB headset-- its the same problem with or without USB modul.
many thanks for help
ps: first i made system restore then i reinstalled the codecs - klightmegacodecpack , no help

Bluetooth (A2DP) dropout on 614c

Hi,
I have an issue with bluetooth stereo on my 614c (with os 6.1). The sound works well for some time, then I get a dropout, then it's back for a second or so, and then totally off. I have to press play again, but then it just works for like 3 seconds and is gone again. Until I reboot it stays that way.
Anyone experienced that? I tried various player programs, so I think it has to do with bluetooth...
I had that problem occasionally when I used 6.1 21054 v0.9a.
It usually happened after I had been listening for a bit. I would redo the partnership and it would be ok for a few days. It seemed to work better if I turned on my Bluetooth headset first then turned on the Bluetooth on the phone.
I went to 6.5 21867 and that problem has gone away but sometimes the headset syncs but it will not for incoming phone calls.
I have the 614c with a Sonorix C3 Bluetooth Headset. S2P works better for music than WMP for me.
I had problems with 6.5 on my last try, wasn't that stable and fast... so I went with 6.1. WMP is the worst, S2P and PocketPlayer are better but still not good. I did a reboot to solve the problem temporary, but after some time (~10-15 minutes) it reoccurs. I can provocate the problem by stopping/playing a few times (from the headset). S2P didn't react on headset controls, is there a trick?

Sound in speaker and headphones

Hi,
I have an annoying little problem with my htc touch2: when i plug my headphones and try to listen music or talk with somebody (or any action that requires sounds) the sound can be heard on the headphones and on the phone speaker at the same time. I did a hard reset and the problem was solved, but after 2-3 days the bug reappeared. I checked some forums and none seems to know how to fix this.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Have you tried BT Audio? I think you can find the program here in the fórum.
Hmm you can just update to new rom. Most problems are rom based.
