Sorry if this is old news but I've been looking for something to play flash on my XDA for a while but I couldn't find a mention in any forums, so I tracked this down on the adobe site
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/downloads/player.html
again sorry if it's old news but you never know someone else may have been looking for the same thing
Edit reason - realised people may skip this if they thought I was looking for a copy rather than I'd found one, also attached the file just in case it disappears from the adobe site
won't play
i've downloaded the flash player and installed it..but i still can't watch videos from youtube??? any suggestions on how i might fix this???

You're right! I was looking for this. Many thanks.
Actually for watching youtube videos flashplayer 7 is not enough, because, if I am right, the video streaming feature (which is used by every video site) has been introduced only in flashplayer 9.
Hi,
This tool will help you to enable flash support into your Opera browser: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4255967&postcount=21

Thanx and welcome to the forum... skyfire has been around for around a year... and opera can also play flash if you use the fix flash cab....
Ading to Rajiv comment I have to say that Opera 10 is the best browser I ever had!
Hello Forum,
Is there any way of being able to Stream online videos on the Touch Diamond Opera Browswer...For instance, the latest goals that are shows on 101greatgoals.com or videos that are on bbc.co.uk/sport.
Thanks in advance,
Luke.
Use Skyfire
I suggest using Skyfire...brillient browser that allows you to watch video content from most sites...only site I've had problems viewing videos is ''megavideo'' as it has those stupid pop up ads...
Go to www.skyfire.com to pick up the app....
You will not be able to view videos on the Opera browser 99% of the time.
Cheers
Thank you for your response.
Is there any other way of doing as i had a look at that browser and it was not clear and crisp and didn't look that nice, even when playing the video.
Sorry but thanks!
Luke.
search for web video downloader its in the developement and hacking section
I'm looking for an app that will download flash videos to the phone. Anyone know of any?
Any help is very much appreciated. TIA
are you looking for a certain site? there is W.V.D. that will download some flash video sites i a few formats
Cool thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for. I also discovered pocket downloader from that thread. I think it integrates with Opera, so i can go to any flash video website and download those vids. I'm gonna give that a shot too.

Skyfire browser is good for flash content but not for flash video. It works, it's just soooo slow for video.
Youtubeplay
Youtubeplay cab available on XDA works well. It searches all youtube videos, you can download vids in flash format and get even mp3 out of it.
Can someone explain why if I download a videoclip (mp4) from say Filesonic directly to my Iconia the video won't play but if I download the exact same clip to my PC and move it to my Iconia the video will play perfectly.

I'm trying to upload a video, not watch one. Also you wouldn't need Adobe flash to watch YouTube.
But don't worry, I figured out another way, just use my YouTube mobile email to send vids to and upload then from there using email.
Thanks for your help anyway.
