Actually, I remember making the same mistake when I first joined this site.
Only people back then weren't as nice. They just told me to go (&*)*)^)&^ my self! At least I am giving "some" directions. I use to think the developers and brains on this site worked for me and needed to answer everyone of my questions and my whim and that nothing was required of me like SEARCHING first. That's changed. Have a good day.

I know what you mean. I have been a member since Jul '05 and the change in this place has been drastic!I was lucky enough that the people I used to deal with (LumpyStefan, back when I used my SX56) were actually really kind people. However, I have seen lots of people being flamed to kingdom come! 'Nuff said. Have a good Day as Well!!

What it comes down to is people need to take the time to read and look. The moderators and members take the time to put up quality apps that we so gratefully appreciate the least that people can do is look for what they need or want......and then and only then should you ask in a kind manner for what you are looking for!!!!!!

It's not to scare anyone away, it's just to empower new users with the ability to search, as you see Im not flaming the guy. There are some who would be a lot more harsh in their response. It's just that this site has a lot of info and it can be easily had with a simple search.

First X2 rom released, we need experts to decrypt it and dump it !!

Ok, from the thread below you can download the official x2 rom, since lots of x2 goodies work on other devices it'd be nice to dum it, yet it seems it is encrypted differently than normal htc nbh files.....
So if anyone skilled and talented is interested go ahead and download it....and ofcourse keep us updated !!

The X2 bits released were from a dump from someones phone, not from the actual rom. This will be better as we might be able to get cabs/ oems from this.

Exactly as buchman said.....what we have now is missing lots of files which make stuff unstable....things would work much better out of a dump....you could have at least clicked the link before flaming....bffff

Yeah, amazing... Maybe what i was trying to say was this isn't supposed to be a "Coming soon to a theatre near you" forum.
I'm sure you and i are not the only ones who know how and where to find tiad8's website.
I come to XDA to see if there is something new, but lately most of the time in the Blackstone forum most new threads are all about OMG tiad8 says he's gonna do something!!!

i mean, nothing wrong with enthusiasm, but i think it would be best to let the actual builder make the announcements and spread the word when there's something to test/try out for everybody

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not saying anything about the man himself or his work, but i was trying to make a distinction between what belongs on a developers forum and what belongs on twitter.

i kno its silly question, but i really want working sense 4.0 rom for ma hd2.
tried all roms but cant find proper one.
can anybody suggest me?

there was a rom in development section but the developer of the rom got bored because of the members who ask for eta a lot and accusing him of detching his own rom development then he upgraded his mobile phone and moved along and leaved a reply in the rom thread that if he was able to fix problems in the rom he wouldnt do it because of those people who just think developers are machines they dont get sick they dont get tired they dont have real life and this is completely wrong they are not bound to update their roms or make another updated but they do it because they like to do it and for the sake of the legend (HD2) to get the most out of it

In other words, Sbryan was sick of douches like you (kslakhani) who just kept asking him to fix things and make the ROM work. You really don't appear to understand XDA at all, you probably shouldn't come on here too much.

First of all I hardly asked anybody to fix things.
I always appreciated their efforts and u know its up to them whether they wanna do it or not.

There's no real Sense 4 ROM for HD2 yet, but there is one for Desire. All we need is one man who would like to spend his time porting that **** to our device. Want it? Do it yourself or wait for someone else who wants it too and will do it for you.
