Pls , how export Pop3 mail via Activsync

Hi all ,
i have a question ,
when i sent an mail , from Pop3 account ( of my s100 )
I would like to synchronize the pop3 acount with outlook ( PC ) too
Thus i can find my message sent from my s100 on the outlook account ( on the PC )
It's too important for me !
is it possible ?

Hi,
I'm afraid you can't with POP3 directly as POP3 is literally retrieval only. No sort of "sending" as in sending a copy to your PC's sent items.
There maybe 3rd party software you could run on your PC to grab it later, but I haven't seen such a thing.
Easiest thing to do is use IMAP (if you can) instead of POP3 and make Sent Items one of your subscribed folders and make sure the portable device has "Save Sent Items" turned on then it'll put a copy back on your server as well for you to download later via your normal PC.

How did you add the hotmail account? My MDA Pro hasn't got it in there, but I had it on a Jasjar and can't remember why.

If you upgrade the mdapro with the jasjar update it will give you msn and therefore hotmail and msnmessenger

If you sign in with msn the acount apear....
The question is how to delete.
I dont use hotmail.

I thought the jasjar update trasked or bricked the MDA Pro? Is there a way of getting the msn file out of the update without having to redo the thing?

go to > start >programes > pocket MSN > (righthand corner) options > switch user tap this and this will delete the hotmail account from your messaging section

Hotmail in Touch2

Well.. I want my Touch2 to have my hotmail synced with it. Whenever i try to they just bring me to opera and ask to use www.mobile.live.com
I downloaded Outlook 2007 and sync my hotmail with outlook then i bring in a usb and use ActiveSync and once ive synced it. I look at my outlook section of the text and i see nothing..
Please teach me how to make it sync .. i want to have the 2unread messages thing on my email part of my TouchFlo.. it feels so good to know i've got emails

If you want your Hotmail mails in your WinMo to be synced with Outlook -
1. Make sure that Email check box is checked i.e. when you are syncing - Email is shown in the list of items to be synced.
2. In outlook, you will find two folders, Personal Folder and Hotmail. The Hotmail folder is NOT synced with Activesync. Simple drag all mails in the inbox from Hotmail Folder to Inbox of Personal folder. That should work.
Unless you have a GPRS connection the link you have described will not work.

Load up the messenger application on your device, it should ask you to log in and if you want to sync your email...
But in all honestly, you're better off setting up a gmail account and using activesync on your device - it will give live mail, and sync contacts and calendar all the time automatically.

I've made a Gmail account. And i've synced my Hotmail with Gmail. It will take a few hours or days. Then i synced my Microsoft outlook 2007 on my laptop with Gmail. Connected the USB and successs!! I synced my Gmail with my phone.
But i dont understand why i cant send out or receive any email? I'm using my WiFi. Is it possible to Send/Receive while using WiFi instead of GPRS Internet cause thats very expensive ^^
But anyways, thanks it works. If only i could send/receive mails now.. Hopefully not by GPRS.

Depends how you've set up gmail...
you need to set up gmail as an exchange server, with the address m.google.com, and sync mail, contacts and calendar only. Then you get true push email, you don't need to conenct activesync to your pc at all, should all work over wifi.

Go into activesync, then congigure server. Try and delete the server source you have, then create a new one.
Username iis your full gmail address, server is m.google.com, leave all security settings ticked.

hi, i had the same problem, i resolved it this way:
when you want to configure your hotmail account like any other email in your mobile,
i think the problem is that the Touch 2 (or WM6.5) has some mail-server account settings pre-configured, and the hotmail one is wrong. i managed to use hotmail both as IMAP and POP3 by just entering a wrong e-mail address (like [email protected]), then entering the right serer settings for pop3 or imap (found in hotmail's help by searching pop3 or imap), and finally, after finishing the configuration, just edited the e-mail settings and altered the email address with the right one (@hotmail.com).
now it's working perfectly, just like gmail or any other mail service.

Have you tried setting gmail up as an activesync account?
Server: m.google.com
User: your email address
Password: your gmail password
Domain: leave blank
Then you should be able to sync them in

I believe that's the only way people r using their contacts in LEOs (or hotmail sync) ...Ive been using it that way since it's first day on my hd2 but i would like to copy contacts to phone cause when u disable gmail sync it also deletes all ur contact then u need to resync everything again ...

Well, import the contacts on PC to your Live ID. There is an online tool for that in Live altough syncing with google is better, because it syncs even contact pictures and has less corrupted information. You probably cant have contacts without the cloud link.

Ummm have you tried just setting up a gmail account on the phone??
Sync'd my contacts just fine, I do not use any contacts from my live account only from gmail ...

U should reedit ur contacts on ur outlook (i believe u had them in ur office outlook) and change the phone number from "general number" to "mobile number" and then resync them again with ur gmail account ....

Like you know, now Google doesn't let WM6.5 ActiveSync to sync contacts, emails, etc.
So is there any way else to sync contacts with Google thru WM6.5?

From what I have read accounts which now use ActiveSync/MS Exchange syncing will still be able to sync. Only new accounts are not allowed.
For Gmail I think you can use IMAP. For calendar and contacts syncing I don't know of any solution.

Tutorial sync to google
Hi here is my Tutorial, I translate it from German to English so somethings can have another title :
1.) Open Active Sync
2.)Click on Menu ->Configure Server
3.)write under Serveradress: m.google.com
and Accept (SSL) and then click next.
4.)now under User name: "your GoogleMail account"
password : "your pw"
domain : let it blank.
If you want click on Save password. Now click next.
5.) Now Accept Contacts,
E-Mail and
Calendar
BUT NOT on "lesson or tasks"
If you only want to sync contacts then don't accept the other one.
And click on Finish.. and Sync...
Sry for my bad english .. I translate some words over Google Translate..
And I use Sony Ericsson Aspen so I can have some other ways as you and your smartphone.. but I thing its the same way.
