Firstly i appolagise if this has been answered else where, i have looked and it may not be in the right place but does come under software i guess, not the easiest of things to word.
Basically i use my diamond to connect to my exchange server which hosts my personal mail, i have a forwarder which forwards all my mail to the exchange, so i can easily pick up my work mail from my person exchange.
This is where my problem begins when i reply to a email or send it uses my exchange mail box.
I have added the work mail box to my phone with a rogue pop3 for source email so i am not pulling the same email from 2 sources, and specified smtp correctly and used the right username\pass.
I hoped by doing this when i send an email or replied it would ask me which account to send from however it uses which ever account you are in at the time of creating the mail.
I don't know if anyone else has achieved this or even tried anything similar.
Any suggestions welcomed.

Check this out. If you have an email address that ends in .edu then you can get GV without waiting for one of us here to invite you. Google is giving invites out to students that can verify their student status by using an email address that ends in .edu

Just wondering if there is a way to do this cause i really don't want to change my email adress wherever it is located. I would like to have it forwarded to gmail account so i could get notifications.

Yahoo is pretty stingy on this you will either have to switch to Gmail out right, pay for yahoo plus which allows pop3 forwarding or use the mail program instead of gmail. You will give up push if you switch programs.
I kicked yahoo to the curb over this about a year ago. They can sit on my $#@* and rotate.

There are several guides onlone, it involves changing your settings to yahoo Asia, it won't screw anything up Google it.
I set up my google acct to pull from my yahoo acct.. It will xfer folders, everything.
I think it uses IMAP? Not 100% sure, but so far it's working.
definitely using free POP from yahoo directly to the mail app...
I haven't done forwarding but I do know if you change your yahoo locale to Asia you can get at least some me the plus features free. That's what I did to get pop to work.

I have the mail client on my nexus 7 (not the gmail app) set up to receive mail from my gmail account but send via my virgin account, this may or may not be relevant to what I am about to ask but is the way I have set up my other android devices.
I am finding that when I try and forward an email any attachments and extra text get sent but not the main body of the forwarded email. I have the forward quoted text checked and cannot work out why it is not being sent.
Anyone else seen this or know how to fix?
