I rather like the look of the stock TF3D theme on the Tilt2, is there a way to just change the task bar so I can get some nicer 3d icons and 1% battery info? Unless there is a significant memory advantage to another theme, in which case I'd like something that looks close to the stock AT&T theme with a nicer taskbar.
Try this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}

There are many taskbar cabs floating around, just make sure it is for GSM. Also the 1% Batt driver really kills the batt alot faster on the Tilt2. Good Luck
Do the same taskbar cabs from the tilt work without a hitch on the tilt2? All I've found specifically addressing the tilt2 is themes, I haven't come across any standalone taskbar cabs in my searching.

Using "Wisbar", it's possible to skin the start bars...

I haven't seen such an application yet, but i think it's not impossible if someone edits a theme file for wm6. Like it's possible to change the top and bottom bars to simple plain black or green for wm7 themes so I think it's also possible to change them to anything you want to.
I've seen a lot of stuff for the PPC like this in the screenshot below:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

I really really want to have black "flat" bars in my HTC S710, please tell me there is a way to have it without needing to flash a new custom rom...
Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure where I got this, but here is the theme in the screenshot...
Well, follow this http://mobile-sg.com/software/?p=TdySchemeChanger&platform=ppc
You will be able to choose between flat black bar vs. others.
you can have bars of any color. The problem I noticed with the black tsk is that the older programs use the softkey space for their layout. for example (pocket alarm) which was not made for wm6 has context and sip instead of softkeys. they get blocked out by the black bars and you can not see the text or buttons.
With ThemeGenCE you can make a similar tsk, and can also fix that old one to show the old style softkey bar.
Simple Flat Black scheme
Simple Flat Black scheme
Flat Black bars - Black Background
simply copy to \windows folder and select in today settings

Maybe I misunderstood, but you did say for wm standard? All those ppc versions won't work for standard devices. Here's a cab to install a blacksoftkeys.scheme.xml into your settings folder. It will look like screenshot below.

I like what they've done to the bottom bar but I'm on the fence about the icons.

Bottom bar and slider are cool with me, the selector(the now blue part that chooses categories in apps), icon bubbles, and carbon fiber need to go. One step forward, two steps back.

Yeah I hate the bubbles around the icons but with the power of Android hopefully we could dip into an apk and change the icons overlays.
Kill the bubbles and it looks good to me.
that's not what our phones will look like in 2.1.. those are the 1.5 icons, it's just someone with a theme on claiming its 2.1
i like them
If they can get it to look like the HD2 I would be very happy!!!!

I think those are HTC's icons though. When I loaded up the 2.1 v1.5 rom I still had the same icons.
INTERESTING!!! I hope it will be skinnable

mod move this topic to Rhodium Themes, Applications and Software please
I've been looking for a nice theme. This is it...
Thank bro
Not to be hating on your work. I like what you've done and encourage people to make tons of themes for me to play with. Here is one that blends into the phone's interface a little bit better:

Well, you shouldn't say that to him even if you don't like his work. This thread is for his theme, which I love!! thanks
People prefer my theme to tnyynt's theme. may be those 2 themes are similar but many things diffirent.
his theme is the good idea for my theme.
@beejay, can you post the background you used for the theme? thanks
My Comm Manager Style Skin
Hi all
The above skins work really well with default Leo graphics but if you're using a stock ROM you need this skin:

i thought you are saying XDA will shut down this Rhodium section....
no no haha. xda-shutdown app for wvga devices.
ok i tried building a new slider with new icons and that i was doing it right till this is what i came up with:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
i believe the icons i selected were all png files and 64x64.. i believe one was 48x48.
but honestly does it matter the size of icon since the program converts them to the proper size?
well anyways, can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong and what is needed to fix this problem.
Ha

It matters a lot. Sense 2.1 uses 256X256 Hero icons and 128X128 Tray icons. The tray are also offset. The best way is to extract the image from the manila and then remove the image and put your in the exact space. Search manila editor on XDA
Sence 2.5 is different than 2.1.
Also point me to where you got your taskbar
m6 taskbar wm6.5 color 11c Dmonium.cab
so basically i cant use hdwall for making a slider set? i see that my first mistake was setting the icons at 64x64 and using icons that are not 128x128, but if it is possible to use HDWall, what other settings do i need to change to make this possible. (application,layout, etc)
TMobile W6.5 Cell Pro Series 9 Rom (sense 2.1)
If if cannot be done with HDWALL then i will have to go with the steps you stated.
