Black non glossy bars in WM6 Standard... Help please. - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

I've seen a lot of stuff for the PPC like this in the screenshot below:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I really really want to have black "flat" bars in my HTC S710, please tell me there is a way to have it without needing to flash a new custom rom...
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure where I got this, but here is the theme in the screenshot...

Well, follow this http://mobile-sg.com/software/?p=TdySchemeChanger&platform=ppc
You will be able to choose between flat black bar vs. others.

you can have bars of any color. The problem I noticed with the black tsk is that the older programs use the softkey space for their layout. for example (pocket alarm) which was not made for wm6 has context and sip instead of softkeys. they get blocked out by the black bars and you can not see the text or buttons.
With ThemeGenCE you can make a similar tsk, and can also fix that old one to show the old style softkey bar.

Simple Flat Black scheme
Simple Flat Black scheme
Flat Black bars - Black Background
simply copy to \windows folder and select in today settings

Maybe I misunderstood, but you did say for wm standard? All those ppc versions won't work for standard devices. Here's a cab to install a blacksoftkeys.scheme.xml into your settings folder. It will look like screenshot below.

I haven't seen such an application yet, but i think it's not impossible if someone edits a theme file for wm6. Like it's possible to change the top and bottom bars to simple plain black or green for wm7 themes so I think it's also possible to change them to anything you want to.

Anyone know how to remove the gray lines?

Anyone know how to remove the gray lines I'm pointing to in the pics? I've successfully removed the gray dotted lines around call history and calendar but can remove or darken the other ones.
Thanks

I think that line is not in the tf3d, its part of the windows bar, so modifying windows theme might work.

How did you remove the lines around Call History and Calendar?

I installed the attached cab. Found it somewhere on the forum.
I've tried editing my theme but apparently I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help me create a flat black theme with black lines?
thanks for posting the cab file....
could you post a screenshot with more than one appointments on the screen?
its very interesting.
i just want to check if it still looks good when you have several appointments.

I tried installing the cab, but it doesnt change my theme at all - the grey areas around the network provider and above the icons are still there...?
Petrov.
Wisbar removes the lower grey line but the start menu will not work with duttys 2.4 and there are some other stuff which i dont like.

Transparent Sidebar and Bottombar

mobile 6.5
ist standert in windows mobile 6.5
The screenshot posted by DrDemento seems to be WM6.1, then there IS possible..
....or can be only a photoshopped screen.... but I'm in doubt of that.
However, I don't know how to do that thing because I'm happy with WM6.5 that has got bars transparency by default.

no that is just images in the taskbar and bottombar not transparent... if u change background wit that image it will remain like that
this image was from a couple years ago i think
Looking at the picture I think you might mean "Glass" not "Transparent", if so then I think you can get those glass bars by installing a theme which has them or using a software like UI Tweaker. I had such glass bars on wm5. I can't really tell on my laptop because the screen is so small and crap!

AT&T Tilt 2 Theme (Change Task Bar colors)

I love the new AT&T blue theme for my Tilt 2, but the black bars at the top and bottom seem out of place. I couldn't find a way to change those colors. Does anyone know how to change the top and bottom taskbar/softkey colors? I'd like to match them to the blue of the AT&T theme. Thanks in advance.
Edit:
I figured it out. There are two files in the Windows directory that control the colors. One is ATT_black_softkeybar and the other is ATT_black_taskbar. Both are PNG image files. I exported them out, recolored them, and then overwrote the existing ones in the directory. After a soft reset, it was perfect.
Here's a screenshot:

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
what did it look like before?
Can you post the files? I have the same look minus the top and bottom curtains and would like to change the colors on the top and bottom bars as well.
Here it is in a ZIP image. If you use HTC Zip it will extract the files. Make sure you check off Overwrite and select the Windows directory. Then do a soft reset. I noticed that our Tilt 2 doesn't come with HTC Zip like my Fuze had. You can download it free, just do a Google search.
Here's the file:
http://members.cox.net/derek790/ATT_blue_bars.zip
xnifex - The top and bottom bars were solid black. It didn't match the rest of the blue theme and made the display look smaller than it actually was because it looked "cropped." It's minor, but I think it looks better.
Home Screen
Hey, do you know if there is a way to remove the ATT Logo home screen or make it transparent?
I turn on one of the built in themes and it doesn't translate to the home screen?
its just a picture file, replace it or use a different wallpaper.
Could you also post the theme file itself? After reading this, I'd like to try the old ATT theme, but don't want to flash to their ROM and back just for a theme.

App like Smaberg's 12 button action screen but with color icons?

Does anyone know how to get color icons? I have been experimenting with my new TP2 and some combination of installs gave me color icons, but I had to do a hard reset and now I can't get them back.
Anyone?
Edit: And I don't mean the 18 button app found here
I think that I had Smaberg's installed, then some other app overwrote his icons with colored ones.
This is different from what I had (the one that I had was identical to Smaberg's but in color), but it will do:

Maybe you could post a link to the 12 buttons app you want with the actions/apps you want?
You could edit only 1 background file & use the customs icons you want like I did here: Tweak: Custom Action Screen Icons in Color. Follow the link in that post for an other version as well as how to change the buttons programs/toggle actions.
