Anyone know how to remove the gray lines I'm pointing to in the pics? I've successfully removed the gray dotted lines around call history and calendar but can remove or darken the other ones.
Thanks

I think that line is not in the tf3d, its part of the windows bar, so modifying windows theme might work.

How did you remove the lines around Call History and Calendar?

they're probably graphic files... which manila files did you delete/remove/modify to get rid of the grey lines on the home screen?

I installed the attached cab. Found it somewhere on the forum.
I've tried editing my theme but apparently I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help me create a flat black theme with black lines?
thanks for posting the cab file....
could you post a screenshot with more than one appointments on the screen?
its very interesting.
i just want to check if it still looks good when you have several appointments.
I tried installing the cab, but it doesnt change my theme at all - the grey areas around the network provider and above the icons are still there...?
Petrov.
Wisbar removes the lower grey line but the start menu will not work with duttys 2.4 and there are some other stuff which i dont like.

This is a nice app!
Do you know an app that can change WM6 bar to WM5?

I haven't seen such an application yet, but i think it's not impossible if someone edits a theme file for wm6. Like it's possible to change the top and bottom bars to simple plain black or green for wm7 themes so I think it's also possible to change them to anything you want to.
I've seen a lot of stuff for the PPC like this in the screenshot below:

I really really want to have black "flat" bars in my HTC S710, please tell me there is a way to have it without needing to flash a new custom rom...
Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure where I got this, but here is the theme in the screenshot...
Well, follow this http://mobile-sg.com/software/?p=TdySchemeChanger&platform=ppc
You will be able to choose between flat black bar vs. others.
you can have bars of any color. The problem I noticed with the black tsk is that the older programs use the softkey space for their layout. for example (pocket alarm) which was not made for wm6 has context and sip instead of softkeys. they get blocked out by the black bars and you can not see the text or buttons.
With ThemeGenCE you can make a similar tsk, and can also fix that old one to show the old style softkey bar.
Simple Flat Black scheme
Simple Flat Black scheme
Flat Black bars - Black Background
simply copy to \windows folder and select in today settings

Maybe I misunderstood, but you did say for wm standard? All those ppc versions won't work for standard devices. Here's a cab to install a blacksoftkeys.scheme.xml into your settings folder. It will look like screenshot below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398571
background enlarge menu is different if TF3D is enable or not.
if tf3d is disable no probleme background is like windows wallpaper, but if tf3d is enable background is dark grey.
any solution to keep background like wallpaper with TFD enable???
same thing with task manager i change highlight and background color, no change with tf3d enable , change ok if disable.

i had that problem too. i just disabled the big startmenue and it worked in tf3d. maybe you have to do some reg editing to enable background in the tf3d oversized startmenue. ill take a look.
i try some reg tweak but no result
no idea for this probleme???????????
can some one help me change the color of my task manager?? i like that gray and green color.. can someone help me with this?
I also tried a diamond program to change the start menu font color without success.
The register today/color has no effect.
Any way to change the colors ?
Since flashing the new 1.48 wwe rom my home screen position is now about 3mm to high, which reveals the lock screen wallpaper underneath.
I`ve posted some pics to show it....
This pic is my lock screen wallpaper.

Which can be seen still showing in the bottom part of my home screen
In the image below you can see the Settings text is to high...
Its as if the manilla screen is to high position.
I have tried a hard reset but it comes back the same.
I can use the same background for both wallpapers but the text is still to high.
Can anybody shed some light on this problem
This also happens with the HTC bundled wallpapers...
Thanks
Have you got e-Natives Showcase installed?

Yes...Have uninstalled it and all is ok now thanks...
Any reason why it does this...
You need to install version 1.0.1b, because the one you had was for newer builds of Windows Mobile and applies the so-called "position fix". These newer builds have different sizez of the top and bottom bars. Alternatively, you can leave the version you have but change the registry to cancel this position fix. See the Showcase thread to learn how to do it.
Many thanks for your time....
sorry wrong post...
Or you can install 1.1.0 and edit the registry to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase]
"SUITE_NewTaskbarSize" to 52.
"SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses" delete the value "Manila;RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS", so this string will be empty.

Hi richie_jones
nice Christmas theme - can you give me the link to that theme?
Thanx,
Hi guys, For the past 2 days I've been looking for the default black wallpaper that's used on every single tab in HTC Sense 2.1 UI with no luck. It's just not there.

The only file I found was StartMenu_Background_Screen_480x800 and StartMenu_Background_Screen_800x480 in the \Windows folder - both are transparent, so I check them in Photoshop to see are they slightly whiter near the center (like in the upper screencap) but they weren't.
I'm desperately looking for this wallpaper to use it in a skin for 'Touch X' application (I want it to look like a build-in tab).
PLEASE HELP!
It is two manilla files, one for the top three quarters or so and one for the bottom, I don't know which numbers they are in 2.1 but I have 2.0.
They are:

Thanks a lot but I was able to make the wallpaper in Photoshop by editing the screen I posted earlier. I used it in a skin for Smabergs Actionscreen.
To give this threat a closure here's the wallpaper (maybe someone else was looking for it):
You can also find it in the HDWalls program as the "default" background. That's what I used to create a cab and use it on my Tilt 2.
