Hard spl 7 downgrade

i was spl1.04 orginal and i upgraded hard spl7,
however i've check by mtty that i'm not sure supper CID yet, so i follow here instruction to become supper CID but fail.
I've download the file and put sspl in herm200 and run autoupdate, it prompt load fail.
But result i've got my spl become spl1.40olipro ???
i am just confuse that what spl i am. Do i still hard spl? if i want upgrade to hard spl 7 , do i need to back to spl mfg ->spl 1.04 ->hard spl 7?
can i spl1.40olipro->hard spl 7?

SSPL was probably your misstep.
At this point just re-flash the latest Hard-SPL and you should be fine. You'll have SPL 2.10.Olipro also be "SuperCID" without actually changing your CID.
THEN, quit hacking around and do some reading before you make your next move.

Prophet IPL/SPL 3.08 won't Downgrade

Hello everyone,
I am here to ask for some help from the experts.
I already read a lot in this forum but could not find any working solution.
My Prophet was upgraded to IPL/SPL 3.08 and won't turn on unless I connect +5v pn pin 1 and ground on pin 6. Doing this I can go to tricolor screen.
I tried to flash IPL/SPL 2.20 but after the reboots it comes back with IPL/SPL 3.08.
Any ideas how to downgrade the IPL/SPL ?

I sorted this in a moment of clarity.
Steps:
1. Got a working WM5 rom into the Prophet
2. Connected ActiveSync
3. Got prophet SOFT SPL into the phone device root.
4. Run SOFT SPL. Got a white Screen (Witch is normal. This is the SSPL bootloader screen)
5. Flashed IPL 2.20... OK
6. Flashed HARDSPL... OK (I supose SPL 2.20 can also be flashed)
Thevice unbricked and working fine.

Question hard spl
I already have de SPL 2.26 before I had 3.08. the question is, Do I have to run the hard slp? Thanks.

What ROM did you flash?
Did you perform a hard reset after flashing the ROM?

Here is how I do I install rom always full of the same problem
Olinex I install 1.56 and then the official 1.56 rom 2009

The picture you supply isn't from the official 1.56 HTC ROM because it is running Windows mobile 6.5 (I can tell from the user interface). The official ROM uses Windows Mobile 6.1.
I think you need to make sure that you flashed the correct ROM and then flash the device again. After doing this make sure you hard reset afterwards at least once, preferably twice by holding down both volume buttons while powering the device on.
Also unless you have a CID locked phone that is branded eg. Orange, you shouldn't have to use Olinex HSPL and can download the official ROM from here:

In any case you should confirm which SPL you have by holding down the lower volume button while booting (it will tell you either SPL or HSPL along with version number).

HSPL 156 OliNex and htc is a factory not orange or other

Okay, it sounds like you have successfully installed HSPL, but now you need to try flashing the ROM again (it appears to be the ROM that is causing the graphic corruption in your picture).
Make sure you perform two hard resets after flashing and hopefully this should solve your problem...

P.S. Make sure you back everything up prior to re-flashing as you will lose everything in phone memory (SD card should not be affected, but my advise would be to remove it anyway until you have re-flashed).

HTC Touch not booting after trying CID unlock

i have rogers htc touch, after trying unlocking using ELF USPL , when i power on only see HTC Logo and then it goes off, i try loading new rom but still same problem . Please help

What is your IPL and SPL?

IPL is 2.21.0002
and
SPL 1.11.0000

I had the same problem...took me 3 hours to figure it out..
1. on Bootloader, re-install a ROM that works (go back to WM6 or WM6.1)
2. when it working, install USLP 1.11
3. DO NOT RESET AFTER...
4. install USLP 3.14
5. then you can install any WM6.5 ROM
For some reasons, the Rogers Touch has some difficulties to upgrade directly, even if it's unlocked...

But, after reading a lot yesterday, seems that the USLP 3.14 is a ''battery eater''...
I'm testing it now..I will see in a couple of days if it is the case!
So far, it looks like it's using approx 2% of the battery per hour...

Definitely, you should always use 3.10.
I had a bad experience with 3.14, it takes up half of my battery after 5 hours of almost no usage.

i'm confused. .... i also have a rogers htc touch as well and i want to flash a custom rom onto it.
(my IPL: 2.21.0002 and SPL: 2.21.0000)
First, i know it has to be CID unlocked... using >> Elf 1.11 USPL ?
Can i use HARDspl ?? What is the difference between USPL and Hard uspl ??
Because i read something about ..... " HardSPL : This modified bootloader allows a much safer flashing process to take place since it reduces the chance of permenently bricking your device. It also removes the need to CID Unlock the device since it ALWAYS reports SuperCID when flashing. "
After a CID unlock and soft reset, the phone will reboot into the old ROM (Rogers, in my case) if i have not began flashing a new rom ??

Artemis problems with USPL

Hello guys, I've got a p3300 which I can't update to a WM 6.1. It's the factory's 6.0. It's originally simfree so I dunno if I need to go through the USPL.
The thing is that it gives me 270 Corrupted image error.
As I thought that being simfree originally, didn't need to do CID unlock, I tried to flash a cooked ROM with no success whatsoever.
Any ideas?

DONT try to install any rom untill you flash ''uspl cmon''!
you might brick the O2xdaOrbit/p3300!!
* put the two cab files on your device and run them.
* get activesync connection
* run dos window
* soft reset after 100% to get activesync connection.
- only when the rom update utility window opened on pc..
* uspl cmon rom update utility.
***ONLY after doing uspl is it safe to flash a rom.
* if you have an SD card in the device, take it out..
when you have done uspl on your device startup you will see..
SPL: 1.11.cmon
* its done.

Having problems with this.
For 2 days I try all the files and ways to set 1.11.cmon on my P3300 and always stuck at one place no matter what versions of the program I get.
IPL 3.07.0001
SPL 1.11.0000
GSM 02.98.90
OS 3.13.0.0
are the red numbers I see when I restart it.
The problems are that when connect phone and see connected on ActiveSync I start start_uspl program. After 100% connection with Active Sync dissapears and I see black screen on my PPC, then I run ROMUpdateUtility and It says some error that there is no phone connected.
If I start ROMUpdateUtility before start_uspl I go in to boot loader mode ( the 3 colors screen ) and then again that there is no phone connected.
I have done this 15 times or more with different versions of the program and it stucks on the same places ALL the time no matter what version I use.
My artemis had 1.11.cmon before, but I installed the LAST Artemis P3300 ROM from the WIKI. That removed the 1.11.cmon from the phone. After that I have Installed Vanilla 2.0 WWE version on the phone and started the process to set 1.11.cmon on the phone. No success. After some 6.5.5 ROM from the forum, then process to set 1.11.cmon and again nothing...
Please HELP!

All works as the brains here say. My problem was that I am using Windows 7 at home and Windows Vista at other place I did try to fix this problem. However with Windows XP this whole operation works properly as the people here say. Big thanks to them and I hope you success in this operation too

Dear Friends,
After USPL the screen of Artemis becomes white and running RUU ends up with error 266. And even after a soft reset running RUU ends until 3% after that comes error 270.
Any solution will be highly appreciated.

put the 2cabs on your device and run them..
rapi & cert
run_startuspl - on pc
when this is 100% - soft reset device
-now continue to do rom update utility (uspl ruu)
this should work..?

i have to admit, i had same trouble to do uspl1.11cmon but eventually it worked.. frustrating.. i know.. but keep trying.. if i was you i would flash back to the official rom.. which should get rid of 1.11.0000 and set back to original spl..
i put rapi and cert on my device, ran them, connected to pc, ran ''run_startuspl'' that made penguin on screen on device.. went to 100% then white screen.. Ruu automaticly opened on pc but i didnt continue with Ruu.. i soft reset device, got activesync connection again and then i continued with the open Ruu..
(Ruu - rom update utility)

Thanks RN, you know, I was trying all this time and my Artemis frozen now (freezes on startup screen IPL 1.25.0001 / SPL 1.27.0000 / GSM 02.69.90 / OS 3.4.0.0. and dopod logo) not moving further. Whats going on? Can you help me?!

pof's original (kickass great work!!) didn't work with my 3.13 (original htc rom); i ended up with 1.11.000spl. i then ran the 3.13 uspl (see thread); now i am on cmon version
