hey, im new to htc hd2
im trying to connect to my home wifi network but i cant seem to pick it up, but my wii and my laptop both can find it, but not the phone.
sorry if this has alreasy been posted somewhere, still learning the ropes

not trying to be harsh.. but you obviously lack some basic knowledge about wifi networking. first read this, and try to reflect bit on youre diamond
above that you question can never be answered with so little information about the problem... its like "help my car doesnt start, what is wrong with it?"

i ve bought diamond 2 days back..... i want to connect to the internet on my phone using my laptops broadband connection....how to do that... ive tried sync but still no websites open...can u help or moro info
still this isnt the place to ask this question.. but ahh well her it goes.. hopefully some mod will replace this into the right subforum...
you have 2 possibilities...
connect to the internet trought activesync. or make use of the wifi router you already have..
i would go for the last option,
just turn on youre wlan on youre diamond, seek youre router and fill out the neccesary info, like the passkey...
if that does not work, sort out the settings in youre router... you must be sure youre router accepts new connections...
last time i checked, via activesync i always have inet... but i never use it trought that way..
I just got my hd2 yesterday and today im trying to figure out how to use the wireless router feature that supposodly comes with the hd2. but there is no wireless router under the wireless control section. I also went to go to the help section on the phone thinking maybe that would help me out but there isnt a help icon either even though the user manuel said there is one. Can someone help me out plz?
in wireless controlls you should have a wifi setting thats how you connect to a wireless router, if thats what you mean

Who did you buy your HD2 from? It seems quite a few operators have removed the Wifi Router application.

the wifi router doesn't come with the us tmobile hd2. i got mine from somewhere on the forum. it works well.

Hi there Im not too new or anything i just don't tend to post very often. Anyways on to my question, my Vibrant doesn't seem to connect to my wireless router which is in my parents house atleast 75ft away. But my laptop does. Is there anyway i can connect to my laptop and use its WIFI? Is there an app or maybe an internet sharing option. I've looked around online but haven't really seen any good tutorials on this topic. thanks again in advance.
Yes, you can share the internet from your computer. Which OS are you using? Windows calls this "internet connection sharing".

OK so anyone know how to get the pspgo to read the HD2 wifi router so I can connect to the internet with my pspgo? I only ask because right now i'm on the hospital and i would like to be able to play online seeing has i'm be here for the next two weeks. Right now I'm using Cell Evo v5 Rom with Radio 2.14.50 from tmos.

I'm pretty new here and to the android world as well.
I have a computer with Windows XP installed and want to connect my S5 to the adhoc network I made on Connectify. After much googling and searching here, I still can't see my Adhoc network when I turn on WiFi. I realise that Google has that feature turned off on latest Android version, so that's why I'm here. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to root my phone for this, which I can do but what would be the next step after that?
Go easy on me as I'm not familiar with the custom made stuff here and have no idea where to start. Any help?
